Sarafina's POV

I was called to Dumbledore's office while Harry has detention with Umbridge. I knew he won't be happy at Harry having detention with her. But what could I do, I didn't know she had made it a week. Besides I tried to shut him up, I should of just used a silencing charm on him. "Come in" Dumbledore calls after I knock on the door. "Take a seat Sarafina" he says looking at his pensive.

"Sorry about Harry having detention professor, I tried to tell him to be quiet" I tell him as I sit.

"I do not blame you Sarafina, you did your best without using magic. That is all I can ask when you're in Umbridge's presence" he states. "I think you need to know why your role is so important. Along with who Harry really is" he tells me. He places a memory in the pensive. "Go take a look" he says and I walk over to them. I lean over and place my head into the pensive.

I see a young Dumbledore and what I think is Professor Trelawney. Though I only saw her once. She starts to speak in a harsh hoarse voice. "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...." I am pulled from the memory.

"So she is a true seer" I mumble.

"Yes, the only reason I hired her that day" Dumbledore states. "I was interviewing her as the new Divination professor. I was about to cancel the subject all together. Then she did that prophecy" he explains.

"It's about Harry, but this would of been made before he was born. So couldn't it of applied to Neville? He's parents also defied Lord Voldemort three times" I state remembering the talk I had with Neville. He hasn't told the others.

"It could of, but Voldemort marked Harry as his equal" Dumbledore states.

"Harry's scar" I say realizing and he nods his head.

"Now you see why your task is so important" he tells me.

"I do and I take it Harry knows none of this" I state and he nods his head. "I won't let you down professor, but how are we going to have these meetings without raising suspicion?" I ask.

"There is an old student role, that most don't remember. But Phineas reminded me of it" he states. "You'll be my assistant of sorts" he tells me. "You will have power of the head boy and girl, as well as the prefects. You'll also have the power to deduct house points and give detentions. But must tell me or McGonagall to ensure they happen. As my assistant you'll have to give me weekly reports and any student complaints. This way no one will question our meetings " he explains.

"Brilliant professor" I say smiling. "When do I start?" I ask.

"Tomorrow, for now go get some rest and report to Minerva during break tomorrow" he tells me. "I'll announce your new role in the morning" he states. We shake hands and I leave.

"You know Draco for Slytherin suppose to be cunning, you aren't so quiet" I said halfway back to my dorm.

"Why are you out after curfew?" he asks.

"Had a meeting with Dumbledore, you'll find out why tomorrow" I say facing him. "Let me guess, prefect patrol" I state smirking.

"Yep" he says pulling me close by the waist. "But I'm not to bust to kiss my beautiful girlfriend" he states.

"Return to my warm cozy dorm to study or kiss my incredibly hot boyfriend. How will I decide?" I muse playing with his hair arms around his neck. He smirks and kisses me gently. We kiss for a few minutes before pulling away for air. Draco resting his forehead against mine. "I really have to go now and you have to get back to Patrol" I tell him.

"Fine, but have lunch with me tomorrow" he bargains.

"After my chat with McGonagall, I'm all yours" I tell him.

"Deal, goodnight princess" he says pecking me on the lips. I peck his cheek before heading back to my dorm. Once there I join Hermione and summon my homework. Together we finish our homework before calling it a night and going to our separate warm soft beds.
