Sarafina's POV

A new educational decree was made to make all student organizations illegal unless Umbridge gave them promotion to continue their activities. Including quidditch teams and she was threatening to not allow Gryffindor to play anymore. So I went straight to Dumbledore and he override her authority. Draco found out and told me not to mess with her again or she'd give me detention. But I ignored him and am still detention free, for now.

It's time for our first defense class meeting. Dobby had showed Harry a place where we could all train together. Turned out to be my secret room, but I'm ok with us using it. I went with Harry, Hermione and Ron so that we could set up. Tonight was just going to be a meeting with a little training.

Soon everyone else arrives and we all sit down on the cushions. "What is this place?" Dean asks. Harry goes to lock the door as Hermione marked the book we were reading together.

"Well" Harry says slightly nervous. "This is the place we found to train, you all found it ok" he states.

"It's fantastic" Cho says and the others nod their heads in agreement.

"It's bizarre" Fred states turning to George and I. "We hid in here once from Filch remember, Sara and George? It was a broom cupboard then" he reminds us.

"True, but I already knew what this place was. If I wasn't there, you two would of been caught" I state. They stick their tongues out at me and I roll my eyes.

"Hey Harry, what's this stuff?" Dean asks pointing to the Sneako-scopes and Foe Glass.

"Dark detectors" Harry starts standing beside them. "Basically they'll show when dark wizards or enemies are near by. But don't rely on them to much, they can be fooled" he explains. "I've been thinking of what we should do first and..." he starts to say when Hermione raises her hand. "Yes, Hermione?" he says.

"I think we should elect a leader" she states.

"Harry's leader" Cho states.

"Yes, I thought we should vote on it properly" Hermione explains.

"Good thinking Hermione, I nominate Sarafina" Dean states.

"She would be a good choose" Micheal agrees.

"But I'm no teacher and have to much on my plate already as your representative to Dumbledore. Quidditch and studying, Harry has more free time along with more experience then me" I state.

"So everyone, who thinks Harry should be leader?" Hermione asks and the majority raise their hand. "Majority vote wins, Harry's the leader" she states.

"But I do need a deputy,would you be ok doing that Sarafina?" Harry asks and I nod my head. That makes everyone happy and Hermione raises her hand again. "What, Hermione?" he asks.

"I think we ought to have a name also" she states.

"I agree, it would promote team unity" I state.

"Can we be the Anti-Umbridge League?" Angelina asks.

"Or the Ministry magic are morons group" Fred suggests.

"Why not a name that doesn't tell everyone what we're doing, so we can speak of it safely outside of meetings" I tell everyone.

"What about Defense Association and D. A for short?" Cho suggests.

"Yeah, the D. As good" Ginny states. "Only let's make it stand for Dumbledore's Army. Because that's what the ministry is really afraid of, isn't it?" she asks.

"All in favor of the D. A?" Hermione asks and everyone raise their hand. I write Dumbledore's Army at the top of the names sheet and then pin it on the board. Harry then continued on with the lesson saying we'd start with the disarming charm.

"Oh please, I don't think Expelliarmus will help us against you know who" Zacharias says.

"I've used it against him" Harry states. "It saved my life in June" he explains. "But if you think it's beneath you, then leave" he tells him. But no one moves to leave. "Ok, divide into pairs and practice" he instructs and I pair up with Neville. We start to practice and I go easy on him, to boost his confidences. Allowing him to disarm me once before I started to try.

Harry blew his whistle and said we were doing well, but there was room fro improvement with some of us. We then continued our training. When the lesson ended we decided to meet again same time on Wednesday night. I went on my evening patrol before heading to Dumbledore's office to give my weekly report.
