"Good morning class" said Mr.Bucket "good morning Mr.Bucket" everyone replied " i have a special surprise for you all" he said " in three weeks we are gonna have our annual science fair, so i will be assigning you your partners" he finished picking up his clipboard.

 'Omg' thought Alex 'this will be fun i guess... but it would be funner if my partner was gonna be Sam oh well i hope i get a good partner' then Mr.Bucket started to read off of his list "Jerry and Derek, Bella and Logan, Hope and Harry, Sally and Zander, Ava and Joey, Kat and Joseph, Paul and Maya, and last but not least... Alexandra and Sapphire. 

 Alex's mouth dropped open as she and Sapphire stared at each other shocked. 'Why' thought Alex "why why WHY! why did it have to be her and why did this have to happen to me". 

Well this might be her second day  but Alex has heard that Sapphire is really  annoying, rude, bossy and she did not at all like the sound of that. So after class she went up to her teacher and asked him if she could switch partners with someone else and he said " listen i know you probably do not like her a lot but she just moved her not to long ago because her parents died" 

' oh great! now i feel guilty' she thought. "oh no" she said" that is horrible "

 "yes it's very sad so i hope you can make friends with her or just try to be nice" he said and left.

as he left she made her way over to sapphire.  "hello sapphire, i'm Alexandra but you can call me Alex, anyways...when should we start working on the project?" she asked as sapphire got up, her blue hair covering half of her face "i don't care" she spat swinging her bag around her arm then left.

 as she left so did Alex sighed, "i guess people are right about Sapphire" she said to herself

 as she got close to her house she started to hear that noise again and ran until she got all the way back to her warm, safe ,cozy home and once again the noise ended.
