A long dark hair lady, in her long sleeves v-cut black silky dress hugging her outline perfectly revealing her tempting cleavage which cause people couldn't rip their eyes away.

She was sitting elegantly on a long couch in the corner of the nightclub, smiling at one of her close friends holding a cake with the candle number 40. She didn't mind about her age because she enjoyed and was blessed to have her birthday celebration with her close friends.

This lady was everyone would jealous of her beauty, lifestyle, jobs but the love of her life. She never cares about getting love early in her life, until she passed her 30 birthday, she was getting desperate and need a companion to fill her life.

Well, there was no luck for her.

She had a few friendly dates with the potential boyfriends, but after one or twice friendly dates with the boys, neither of them would look forward to starting a relationship.

Still, she had no idea what was wrong.

She was confident with her long dark hair, sexy light tan skin, hazel eyes, luscious lips, and divine curve of her body. But, no one dares to make a move to her. The problem, as she was too intimidated and people would admire her but never think about getting this woman in their life. That was what her friends said about her.

Except for the only person who never gave up on her.

The lady's smile die down when her hazel eyes reached the familiar gray eyes, followed by a handsomely pretty girl. She was the right opposite of the older lady. She had short wavy light brown hair cascaded on her sharp jawlines along with her smile which girls will die for it.

The younger girl was effortlessly attractive to the girls. She was in her dark blazer, white shirt beneath, a pair of tight denim jeans, and a pair of leather shoes. She remained her charming smile, holding a bouquet of the older lady's favorite black roses, and confidently walking toward. All the ladies in the nightclub were awestruck on her, but this younger girl's eyes only at her favorite hazel eyes which were dagger at her.

In the meantime, the older lady's eyes started trailing the younger girl's top to her toes. And damn! How could she be so flawless? The problem? She had no dick. That was the only thing the older lady minded about. She never accepted to get a girl even though she was already desperate to find love for her life.

Somehow, this didn't affect the younger girl. She would never give up on the older lady since the first day she met her in their workplace. She was mesmerized by the older lady's sexiness and infatuated with her.

"Happy birthday, Miss Gomez." The younger lady greeted sweetly as she joined the older lady and was ready to hand the bouquet to her.

The older lady scooted away from her and folded her arms as she said coldly, "You're not invited, Angelina Jones."

The younger lady immediately cringed with her full name as she leaned in closer and whispered, "It's AJ, Valentina."

The rasped voice along the minty breath fanning the older lady's ear caused her slightly tingle on her skin. She couldn't help but silently inhale the soft fragrance from the younger girl. Before she was carried away, she used her palm to grab the younger girl's face in a handful and shoved her away.

The younger girl didn't get offended, instead, she casually combed her wavy hair with a hand as she shot a wide grin and teased, "Wow, I enjoyed this thank your manner." She winked, "You're welcome."

"Are you done?"

"What about a tequila shot?"

"Get the hell out of here."

"Okay, I'll leave after a sweet kiss."

"You're ridiculous."

"I should get a sweet reward, right?" AJ wiggled her eyebrows at her and indicated the bouquet of black roses.

"No, thank you. Get. Out." Valentina tried to say nicely but her hazel eyes already glared at the younger girl.

AJ held her gaze at the older lady and played a little staring contest with her. The older lady tried to be intimidated, but the more she stared at the gray eyes, the more she was hooked by the gentle and full of affection eyes.

Valentina quickly averted her eyes from the younger girl as she tried to face her close friends, took a wine glass and toast like AJ wasn't exist, "Cheers!"

After she and her friend made a toast and took a sip, she found out AJ no longer sat next to her but only a bouquet sat on her spot. She was a little mad that AJ was too rude to leave her like that. Her hazel eyes quickly darted to the front door of the nightclub to check, but no sign of her.

"Gotcha!"

Valentina was startled a little after she heard the voice followed by the soft hair grazing her face. She knew if she turned around they would kiss, she tried to be calm and remained still.

"I'm gonna have a free rent in there." AJ was smiling and facing her favorite lady, using a finger indicating the older lady's left chest to avoid touching it.

Valentina was speechless as she opened and closed her mouth like a fish already out of the water and was suffocating from her panic.

AJ already drew herself away from Valentina, she walked a few steps away as she turned back and rested her hands behind her lower back as she grinned again, "I'm glad I gave a wish and your favorite flower to you." She blew a kiss at the older lady, "Happy birthday, Valentina. Enjoy." With that, she waved at her and her friends as she was heading out of the nightclub.

The older lady was slightly disappointed AJ left her just like that, in the meantime, AJ turned to face her once again and winked at her before she exit the door.

Valentina was getting frustrated with this gameplay from AJ. She grasped the bouquet of black roses and was ready to throw it away but one of her friends quickly snatched it away from her, "Give it to me if you don't want it."

Valentina would never want any of the flowers given by AJ would give to anyone. She had to keep it herself and threw it away by herself. Instead, she possessively pulled back the bouquet from her friend and said, "Did I say that I wanna throw it?"

"You seemed to." Her friend argued.

Valentina didn't respond as she held the bouquet tight. After a while, she put it next to her and made sure it was untouchable from anyone.

Valentina and her friends finally called it a night after they had spent drinking for hours. Valentina held the bouquet as she started walking to the taxi stand. When she was getting closer to the taxi stand, she scoffed when she saw AJ was sitting at the bench.

"What do you want?" Valentina asked lazily and her mind just wanted to go home and sleep after a long day.

AJ turned to face Valentina as she grinned and waved at her, "Hey,"

"I said what do you want?" Valentine repeated with of hint of annoyance.

"Oh, I'm waiting for a taxi too. But, I have no luck." AJ said and played a sad face. Deep down, Valentina knew it was her trick again.

"You have a bike, don't you?"

"Today is an exception. A pretty lady dislikes riding a bike. Just in case this pretty lady needs a companion to go home..." AJ trailed off as she gently tapped her chest with her palm and said, "She still has me."

The way AJ spoke was sweet and tender, somehow, Valentina scoffed it off and said, "No thanks. I don't need any companion since I'm alone all the time."

AJ stood up as she walked closer to Valentina and said, "Come on, you still have me. I'll standby for you anytime." she chastely held Valentina's wrist and took her to the bench, and let her sit as she stood aside.

"You? I don't need you, Angelina." Valentina said as she hope she would leave her alone. She was expecting AJ will cringe in disgust but she was too happy waving at the taxi which was pulling up near to them.

"I get a taxi!" AJ grinned as she waved Valentina to come over and said, "Come on, it's late. I don't think this hour would get a taxi in this place."

Valentina hesitated awhile as she sighed and stood up and walked toward the cab, AJ hovered the door and let Valentina get in the cab.

Valentina gets in the cab as she scoots further to leave a space and AJ shamelessly asked, "Can I join you?"

"No?" Valentina said sarcastically and muttered, "Get in."

AJ grinned as she giddily get into the taxi and the driver started to pull off the car after Valentina told the address with no other option since she knew the younger girl would insist to send her home before her. Again.

They had already known each other for close to 4 years, also this was 3rd time AJ stole a chance to send Valentina to go home successfully in a different trick.

The train of Valentina's thought was interrupted by AJ's back of soft hand grazed hers. AJ was staring at the side window and looking for the midnight city. Valentina couldn't put her finger into this younger girl. Sometimes she would be nosy and keep talking to her, sometime she would be silent and enjoyed her own.

"Thanks for enjoying the view with me," Valentina was snapped back by the younger girl. She just realise she already leaned closer to AJ and she had no idea how did this happen either.

Valentina quickly drew herself away and remained still, AJ's gray eyes were dancing at the older lady as the corner of her lips curved upward. The way AJ stared at Valentina was more like admiring instead of the pervert checking her out.

Valentina was getting awkward and the only person will lay their eyes on her, again and again, was AJ. Valentina decided to brush off the thought as she turned her back facing AJ instead.

The journey to her home didn't take long, she finally arrived at the lobby of her condominium as AJ already paid the fare before Valentina fished out her purse. AJ had already gotten off the taxi and opened the door for Valentina to get off the cab.

AJ offered a hand for Valentina to help her and Valentina slapped her hand away causing the younger girl to laugh and stood aside for her to leave the taxi.

They walked side to side and AJ asked, "No coffee invitation?"

Valentina scoffed, "I'm not a coffee person."

AJ wanna laugh but she decided to play along, "What about tea?"

"Just drinking water," Valentina said dryly.

"Oh thank you. I'm invited." AJ pumped fist as Valentina quickly rested her hand on AJ's chest and said, "No. Just go home. I want to sleep."

"I can be your bolster if you need a cuddle."

"I hate to get sweat," Valentina said in matter-of-fact.

"But I don't mind getting a bath again."

"What can I do to make you get rid of my sight?" Valentina asked in frustration.

"No?" AJ chuckled with a shrug.

"Let's do this."

"Okay,"

"I'll give you a challenge. You only have 7 days to court me. If you lose, get out of my sight." Valentina said.

"Deal," AJ said confidently.

"Challenge begins on Monday morning sharp. Now just go home."

AJ seemed excited about the idea as she winked, "I'll win. See ya on Monday, gorgeous." With that, she started using her mobile to call a taxi and waved at the older lady.

Valentina only smirked at AJ in victory before entering her condo by knowing AJ wouldn't win this game and she was blessed she set this idea just to let AJ go home and leave her alone to spend her weekend.
