Chapter 9
I AM SO SO SO SO SO SORRYYYY!!!!! I've just been really busy, even though it is summer, but that's still no excuse!!
I had to take some computer classes so I was in that, but I'm done now!:)
Thanks you all for reading, commenting, voting and adding this story to your library;) it really does mean a lot to me. Like no joke:), when I see that people are actually interested in my book, I just get this really good feeling. I want to say I'm sorry again, I will do my very very best from now on to update more frequently. It just takes a while to write cause it's on my phone and yeah, so onto the story!!!
Disclaimer. I do not own Harry Potter.
P.S. my brother pointed out that in the last chapter, in the prophecy thing, that he didn't like that Harry's role was being bummed out. I just wanted to make it clear that Harry still plays a great role, the whole horcrux thing still exists. But without wanting to spoil the ending, after Harry "final duel" with Voldemort, there will be another fight between him and Saphira. I lov Harry so don't think he won't be a big part of this story!! Thanks.
Third P.O.V.
Saphira stayed up for an hour, looking for this mysterious room that would explain things to her. Her mind lingered on what the Hat said.
When she realized that it was already midnight, the girl headed back to her chambers to get rest for her first day of school.
~~~~~
Two faces.
One so dark it radiates evil off in waves.
The other an ignorant soul, lost and obedient.
Working in alliance to regain the lost strength.
Only less then a few suspect a plan.
Just one little piece to the entire puzzle.
It has started.
The final battle.
Many will survive.
Many will die.
A grand scheme for years to come.
It has started.
~~~~~~~~
Saphira woke up, drenched in sweat. A voice in her dream speaking in an eerily calm yet suspenseful voice. She could faintly see a face.
A face without a nose, eyes as red as blood, and a face so pale, the veins could be visibly. The face was laughing, an evil and maniacal laugh.
She briskly walked to Dumbledores chambers and knocked on the door.
"Dad?" She said in a panicky voice.
"Come in Saphie"
The door opened and Saphira rushed in.
"What is it Saphie?" asked Dumbledore in a calm and soothing voice.
"I had a really bad nightmare, there was this thing that someone said, maybe a prophecy. I believe it was about the Final Battle and Voldemort."
"Do you remember what was said?"
"Two faces.
One so dark it radiates evil off in waves.
The other an ignorant soul, lost and obedient.
Working in alliance to regain the lost strength.
Only less then a few suspect a plan.
Just one little piece to the entire puzzle.
It has started.
The final battle.
Many will survive.
Many will die.
A grand scheme for years to come.
It has started."
"That does seem to reference Voldemort. Well, don't dwell on it Saphie. Get some more rest because tomorrow is your first day."
Saphira nodded.
"There was something else though."
"Yes?"
"There was a face. With pale, pale skin, red eyes, and a face without a nose. It was laughing like it knew something horrible was coming and he was laughing about it. A maniacal laugh you could say. Evil surrounded him like a blanket. His aura, pure black, was clearly visible."
"I believe you saw the face of Voldemort."
"That was him!?"
"Yes, but as I said, don't dwell on it and get some sleep."
"Yeah, okay. Night dad."
"Goodnight Saphie."
Saphira walked back to her chambers. In her bedroom was a secret door that led into another room, her potions lab. She grabbed a dreamless drought and quickly swallowed it. No more dreams for her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning came for Saphira at six and breakfast was served at seven. Excitement radiated off her.
Because of her "special house", the badges on her robes stayed the same; the Hogwarts logo.
She took a quick shower and dried her hair with magic. There are many advantages that magic has in the morning. Using another spell, Saphira curled her red brownish hair that held some golden highlights loosely. A bit of lip gloss and then she was set to go.
"Excited much?" asked Luna, the kitten.
"Excited doesn't even cover it!" said the jumpy girl.
Luna was a very timid kitten in the pet shop, but as the weeks went by, she became more outgoing, if that can even be used to describe a cat, and definitely more sarcastic.
In flew a majestic phoenix, Ambros, meaning "eternal".
"Ah, first day, is it?"
Ambros was, to say the least, a bit lazy. But he was as loyal as they come.
"Yes, it is Ambros. And I'm very very excited. Did I mention that I was excited?" said Saphira.
Ambros and Luna just looked at each other and shakes their head. The two had what some call, a "special" relationship. They tease each other and pretend to not care much about the other, but inside,
Deep
Deep
Inside, they do care.
"Well, I have to get going to see dad for my schedule. See you later guys."
"I'm stuck with him for a whole day?!" exclaimed Luna.
"I'm suppose to spend a day with a little furball? Hmph." Ambrose stuck his head up and flew away.
Saphira laughed and then went on her way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey dad!"
"Morning Saphie. Coming for your schedule?"
"You bet."
"Because of your house, you will have classes with all the houses. You will also have private lessons with myself and other teachers. Everyday at four, you will go to the Room of Requirement for your private lesson. Now, here you go. You'll have time to look it over at breakfast."
"Thanks dad!"
~~~~~~~~~~
Saphira headed down to the Great Hall. On her way there, she bumped into Professor Quirell, his books fell.
"Oh! Good morning professor. Sorry 'bout that."
"T-t-that's o-okay Ms. H-Hogwarts. G-g-going down t-to breakfast? I-I see t-that you a-are not in a h-house? Y-your badge."
"Yes, I belong to all the houses but please, call me Saphira. Ms. Hogwarts makes me seem old." She said with a friendly smile.
Saphira felt something bad of Quirell, it wasn't exactly his aura that was puttin her off, but it seemed as though there was something else with him. But being to excited for school, she just shook it off.
"V-v-very w-well S-Saphira. S-s-see you i-in class l-later."
"See you." And with that, Saphira went on her way. But something still didn't feel right with the professor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There's my fav pranksters!"
She said with open arms inviting them in a hug which they gladly accepted.
"SAPHIE!" exclaimed the twins together.
"It's been-" said Fred.
"A while since" said George.
"We saw you!" the Weasleys said together.
"It's only been about three months guys, but I actually came to talk to you about something else."
"Yeah?" asked George with a knowing smile.
"Something lingering in your mind Saphie?" said Fred with a mischievous smirk.
"I've had a lot of time during the summer, and I've been brainstorming on new 'ideas' that we can try out. Want in with me?" smirked Saphira.
"Hell yeah!"
"No swearing Freddie dear." laughing George.
"Here's the plan and I've decided to involve the teachers."
As she shared with them her plan, their smirks and smiles grew larger. With a high five they went off to plan a bit before classes started.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saphira made more friends throughout the day. Her classes went great, it was obvious in Transfiguration that she was a natural. But when it came the D.A.D.A, there was something still off about the new professor.
Even though the room did smell like garlic, which upset her nose and everybody's else's nose, it was something else, something dark.
She decided that she'd keep a careful eye on him.
Then she headed to her special class.
