Scenario 1: Follows closely after the events of X-Tale. Cross is rather sensitive in this state, rather close to breakdowns. He did kill everyone he loved and cared for you know, thought he could bring them back after he took the humans soul. Dream takes the responsibility of trying to care for him. Cross ends up falling for him. Hard. Dream as well.

I'd very much like to be Cross in this scenario.

Scenario 2: This is in happier times, Cross is thriving mentally and doing very well. He doesn't hate the Chara stuck in his body. Dream enjoys this, constantly hanging around with the other. Of course, this would be a slow boil
