It's our first day as an official couple! Isn't that simply wonderful? To think that I spent so much time fretting about whether or not he would actually accept me! It's laughable! Though, it doesn't matter anymore.

He's not awake yet, so I think I'll do a mission without him. He wouldn't mind, and besides... He's still asleep. I get that I'm his boyfriend now and all, but it just feels like an invasion of privacy to simply burst in through the door and wake him up. So I'll leave him be for now. And go on a mission.

As I run, the mansion becomes clearer, until finally I burst in through the door, and rush over to Cross's room.

His door came into view, and I slowed down.

His body hung limply, specks of dust already collecting underneath it. His eyes.. Were empty. Black. And his hands, oh, his poor hands, they were coated in his magic... The why didn't matter. None of it did.

I screamed. I screamed. I screamed. I couldn't. No. No. No. No. This isn't real. I screamed. I cried. No. No. No. No. No. NO! I WON'T BELIEVE IT! HE IS ALIVE!

Footsteps... They rushed over to my screams, only for even more to erupt.

"What happe- WHAT THE F- URGH-!" Killer rushed off, and threw up.

Horror was stunned into pure silence.

And Nightmare's negativity started fading and falling off of his body.

And I cried.
