Every single day I live and breathe this toxic air...

I whisk myself away from my reality and into yours when I imagine that shining future where I can be with you.

In my trembling excited hands is a dyed-crimson red pen that will write out dark and shadowed omens of the others, and poems of me and you!

But I must not stop writing, for when I do, the ink from my pen flows down into a dark crimson puddle that makes me crave you and only you, you!

I stand, excitement coursing through my bones as I coax myself, 'Just move your hand!', and I begin my long journey that will one day aid me when I write the way into his heart!

But I ask myself, why, why he never chooses me in this horrible twisted world with infinite choices, infinite possibilities...

I ask myself just what it will take to find myself standing in that sparkling, shining future, on that special day where everything goes my way...

What will it take from my hands and will...

Just to find myself smiling and laughing on...
