Im not who I think?
Spoilers....okay the whole book is gonna have some spoilers so just be prepared.
You cautiously listen to what Flowey has to say. He made you feel....uneasy, but this might be your only chance to regain your lost memories.
"Tell me everything." You said to Flowey.
"Your real name is y/n, and you are not who you think you are." He told you.
"What do you mean?" You were surprised at this.
"Your not the innocent child you may think you are." He smirked.
"Then who am I." You began to feel frustrated with Floweys lack of detail.
"Your the reason the monsters fear humans." Flowey stated.
"Me? What did I do, I would never hurt anyone." You truly felt in your heart, love and compassion for these monsters. You knew you could never hurt anyone.
"You idiot, you don't remember anything do you. You killed everyone."
"That wasn't me! I would never hurt anyone. That was chara." You remember sans explain all this to you before. You knew Flowey was trying to trick you.
"Chara? How dare you say that name?" Flowey's expression had changed. He looked menacing.
You backed away as Flowey moved towards you. You felt something wrap around you legs pinning you in place. When you fell over Flowey leaned over top of you.
"Where did you hear that name?" His eyes were locked in to yours as if he was staring into your soul.
"I-I don't know, I just remember." You didn't want to mention sans at this point just in case.
"You remember? What exactly do you remember?" He seemed confused.
"I don't really remember much." You tried to escape. Flowey's grasp on your leg tightened.
"Tell me what you remember." He said again, more forcefully this time.
You looked deep inside your mind for anything that might be helpful. Considering, Flowey asks you about chara, it must mean you actually knew chara. Right? Your head ached as you searched your thoughts. You ignored the pain and kept searching. Flowey soon grew impatient. The pain worsened, almost too much to bare. Suddenly you were lifted in the air by your shirt.
"Maybe this will jog your memory." Flowey smiled and threw you against the wall.
You were slammed against the wall with full force. You look up at Flowey and feel something dip down your forehead. You touch your head and look at your hand. It was blood. You were about to faint. Seeing this, Flowey grabbed you again and lifted you in the air once more.
"Why won't you talk?" With an angry tone he spoke to you.
Slowly slipping out of consciousness your vision gets hazy. You look at Flowey and something runs through your mind. You lift your hand up towards him and set it on top of his head.
"I'm sorry....Asriel." You whisper before completely losing all consciousness.

~FLOWEYS POV:
When I saw y/n and found out she had forgotten her past, it made me...mad. How dare she forget everything just like that. I was going to tell her everything, so that I wouldn't be the only one to have to suffer through these painful memories. The only way I could do this was to get her alone. So I followed her. It was hard, because she was always around those two numb-skulls. Finally, I saw her walking by herself. Just when I was about to confront her, some kid shows up and ruins my chance. I was lucky though. I followed her to waterfall, in a cave behind the current. She had fallen asleep in the grass. I looked at her, so calm and peaceful as if none of it happened. I was jealous.
"Hehehe you idiot. Did you really think you could just come back and live like nothing happened? Pathetic." She woke up immediately.
She didn't recognize me.
She looked so...fragile. What has she become since losing her memories. I toyed with her a bit, making her more and more at war with herself. Then I pushed too far.
"You idiot, you don't remember anything do you. You killed everyone."
Then she said something I wasn't expecting. She mentioned Chara. Everyone had forgotten chara and acted as if she never existed. How did y/n, the one with missing memories, know about chara. I had to find out.
I forced her to tell me. I tried pinning her, I tried hurting her. Nothing worked. Then I lifted her up again hoping she would finally tell me. When I saw she wasn't going to speak I was going to throw her again. That is until she looked at me. She had tears in her eyes and she held her hand out to me. She laid it on my head, and looked at me with a pained expression.
"I'm sorry.....Asriel." She then past out.
'What have I done' I thought. She spoke to me. The real me. How could she have known, not even chara knew about me. I felt something wet drip down my petal. At first I thought I couldn't feel emotions, but I knew these feelings wouldn't last. I quickly laid her in the ground and made sure she was still breathing. After making sure she was still alive I decided I did enough for one day. I went back to the skeletons house and left a note, telling where y/n and to hurry and get her. It didn't take long for them to find it. I left knowing she wouldn't die with them by her side.
I'm still confused as to what she knows and what she is capable of, but I can leave that for another time. This was just starting to get...interesting. Hehehe.

~YOUR POV:
You wake up at home in sans bed. You see sans asleep against the side of the bed. Lifting your head up, a great surge of pain runs along your back. It was hard to move. You smell something good coming from the kitchen and it seems there are a couple people downstairs. You were in so much pain, it was impossible to go see who was downstairs. You tried to lift your head once more out of stubbornness. The pain sent a shock through your body causing you to jerk a bit. You were halfway to sitting up, you didn't want to stop now. Just a little more and you would be up. Unfortunately, sans woke up.
"Whoa kid, take it easy. Your beat up pretty bad." He lays you back down, and after all your hard work.
"How long have I been sleeping?" You asked.
"Not long. I wouldn't worry bout it." He said to make you feel better.
"So kid. What happened? Who did this to you?" Sans looked concerned. It shouldn't be a surprise though. You were unconscious and badly injured when you were found.
"No one. I'm fine" You didn't want to tell him the truth. It would only make him feel bad about not being able to help or something like that. Plus, you didn't want him hunting down Flowey. Not after the last thing you said to him.
"What do you mean your fine! I found you half dead at waterfall. Don't tell me your fine. Now who did this to you?!" Sans was furious. You knew he was gonna be mad, but you have never seen him this mad.
You flinched as sans voice grew louder. It was unlike him to be so forceful towards you. He hesitated when he saw your reaction.
"I-I'm sorry. I isn't mean to raise my voice." He seemed to have conflicting emotions, but you knew out of all of them he was trying to protect you. The only thing you could think of was to lay your hand on his. He looked at you and took your hand in his. He sat on the edge of the bed and sighed.
Suddenly you hear footsteps coming closer. The door flew open with many monsters standing in it. Papyrus walks up and stands in front of the bed.
"HUMAN! YOU HAVE AWOKEN. ARE YOU OKAY?" He asked.
"Yeah paps. I'm okay." After saying this, everyone seemed to calm down a bit.
Undyne and Alphys walks over to the end of the bed.
"Alphys? I thought you were going to be out of town till next week." You stated.
Undyne and Alphys looked at each other as if wondering what to say. You see everyone doing the same.
"What?" You asked.
"IT HAS BEEN A WEEK. YOU HAVE BEEN SLEEPING FOR SEVERAL DAYS." Papyrus clearly said among the silence.
"Several days?! Sans I though you said I wasn't asleep for long." Everyone turned towards sans and glared. He just shrugged his shoulders. You saw little beads of sweat coming from his skull. Alphys spoke trying to break the awkward atmosphere.
"Uh p-papyrus called me t-telling me about your s-situation. S-so I came right over as s-soon as possible." Alphys said.
"Thanks Alphys." You were happy she can all this way just for you.
Toriel came out from behind everyone and carried a bowl in her hands. The room was getting kinda crowded. It made you feel happy to have this many people care about you, but at the same time sad that you made them worry. She sat the bowl down on the nightstand beside the bed.
"I hope you like soup. I thought it would be the easiest to swallow. Are you feeling better my child." Toriel was so motherly that it made you feel at home.
"I'm feeling fine. Is there anyway I could sit in the living room? This bedroom is getting kinda crowded." You didn't want to stay in that bed any longer, fearing you might sleep again.
"Kid, don't cha think you should take it easy?" Sans suggested.
"I have been asleep for a week. I need to move around. Even if it hurts." You were stubborn and everyone knew it. Papyrus and Toriel helped you out of bed. The moment you starting moving, pain shot thought you. You steadily made it to the edge of the bed and, with help, stood up. Every step you took felt like pins and needles, but you were determined to work through the pain. After making it down stairs and onto the couch, Alphys sets a pillow behind you.
"I-it will help your back." She said.
"So would ya mind telling us what happened?" Undyne asked.
"Yeah fill us in kiddo." Sans added.
"Well I was walking home from mettatons banquet. And I remember sitting on a cliff looking over towards the castle." No matter what, you didn't want to tell them about Flowey. You had your reasons and you felt you needed to know more about your past before telling everyone.
"Are you saying you fell, child?" Toriel asked.
"Maybe, I don't really remember much after that." Everyone seemed to believe your story. Almost everyone. You look at sans and he had an expression that showed he knew something wasn't right.
"WELL HUMAN, I THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL NURSE YOU BACK TO HEALTH." Papyrus insisted.
"Thanks pap. Oh! Before I forget, Alphys could you spare some time later? I need to talk with you." You asked
"M-me? Sure." She smiled.
After a bit more of interrogating, everyone went home. Before leaving Alphys handed you something. It was mettatons coin. When you went to thank her, Undyne had already started to leave, making her follow. Once everyone left it was late. Papyrus had pulled sans away, asking for a bed time story. They went upstairs leaving you on the couch. Once out of sight, you try and move on your own. You manage to stretch you arms out and prop yourself up from the couch. It was getting easier, but you knew it would be awhile for you to recover.
You hear a click of a door. Pausing, you look up to see sans leaning against the wall at the top of the stairs. He didn't look too happy. He walks down and over to you.
"Having some trouble?" He asked, seeing you leaning on your hands in an attempt to sit up.
"Uh...." You couldn't think of a funny excuse at the moment.
Sans reaches his hand under your neck and helps you up. You jerk from the pain. After sitting you up he sat down beside you.
"Ya know kid, I know we might not be the easiest people to talk to, but you should at least let us know if somethings up." He didn't look at you.
"Are you mad at me Sans?" You ask knowing you couldn't deny what he said.
"I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed. Do you not trust us?" He looked over at you. You could see the painful expression that he bore. It hurt more than any pain you have endured.
"I trust you. I just don't want to hurt anyone." Drooping your head, you feel tears weld up in your eyes.
"What do you mean you don't want to hurt anyone? Kid we only want to help. How could you hurt us?" He set his hand ontop of yours.
"I'm sorry sans. It's my fault. It's all my fault." You wipe your tears, but they keep pouring.
"What's your fault? You didn't do anything." His grip on your hand tightened.
"Sans. I-I feel like I did something. Something that can never be forgiven. I can't even remember what it is. That's the scary part." You continued to cry. Sans put his arms around you and pulled you into a gentle embrace.
"Don't worry. No matter what you remember, no matter what you did, I forgive you." After hearing this you felt your heart sink. You felt world collapsing in front of you. Sans had given you what you, unconsciously, wanted most. Forgiveness. You felt that you could move forward and tell sans everything you remember.
