After returning home, you sit on the couch as sans goes to call papyrus and tell him its time for dinner. You turn on the TV and see a ton of sales for the season. Seeing all the clothes on sale fills you with determination. You couldn't wait for your shopping trip tomorrow with sans. You look over at sans at pat the spot on the couch beside you. Sans sits beside you on the couch and closes his phone.

"Pap will be home in a bit. Apparently he's set the house on fire again." Sans says.

"Again?! You mean he set the house on fire before?!!!" You say with extreme worry.

"Yea, but only a handful of times." Sans shrugs as if it was nothing which worries you more.

You try your best to act like its normal and move on. You still worry and make a mental note to keep an eye on papyrus while he's cooking.

"So whatcha watchin" Sans says interrupting your train of thought.

"Oh...uh just some Christmas movie." You say even though your not really watching it.

"How do you humans celebrate Christmas?" He said with his head tilted to the side. He seemed very interested in the topic.

"Well its a religious holiday where friends and family celebrate together." You say trying to sum it up. "Basically we all gather together, sing Christmas songs, exchange gifts, and have a feast to celebrate the religious holiday."

You look at sans and see him look back at you with wide eyes. He is in awe by your words. He begins to grin at you. Seeing him like this made you blush a bit. It never occurred to you that he has never seen a real Christmas down in the underground. You assumed they celebrated Christmas by the decorated tree in the center of snowdin. 

"That sounds amazing." He looks like a little kid the way he shows his excitement.

"It is, its my favorite holiday." You say with the same enthusiasm.

"Hey maybe we can celebrate it this year." He says waiting to see your response.

"Really?!" He laughs seeing your eyes grow bigger.

You start making plans and jumping all around thinking of things you could do. You were so excited to hear you could celebrate your favorite holiday with your new friends. Sans was happy seeing you all excited but it was getting late and he had to calm you down for now. He tried telling you it was time for bed, but you didn't seem to hear him. Your point in random places explaining where the decorations would go and state your plans for food. Suddenly, Sans grabs you face and turns it to face his. All your running around stops as sans looks in your eyes and says "Time for bed kiddo." You blush and he chuckles. You both stand up and you start to walk up stairs.

"You go to bed kid, I'm gonna wait for pap to get home." He says leaning against the wall.

You nod and head upstairs. Still extremely excited about Christmas you run at full speed into sans room and jump into bed. You lay there giggling to yourself  for a bit before drifting off to sleep.

You woke up that morning full of excitement. You see an arm wrapped around you from behind. You turn and look to see sans sleeping soundly. You blush and try to hide your embarrassment. This seemed to be your usual wake up routine now. you stare at sans sleeping face. You take your hand and poke sans' skull.

"Wake up sleepy bones." You say waking up sans. He looks at you and smiles. His grip on you tightens and he buries his face into your back.

"Five more minutes." He yawns and attempts to go back to sleep. 

"No way!" You sit up and pull off the covers. "We have some shopping to do."

He smiles and turns over trying to go back to sleep. You giggle and pull off his covers as well.  Not budging he starts to snore. You laugh and grab onto his arm and pull him off the bed.

"Come on lets go!" Dragging him off the bed.

"Alright kid I'm up. We'll go shopping." He says now laying completely on the floor.

"Yay! Okay I'll get ready can you wait for me downstairs. I'll only be a minute." You say rustling around the room.

"Yeah I got it. I will go tell pap were leaving." He says as he scoots out the door.

You get ready and grab sans jacket. You loved his jacket it was always warm and made you feel secure. You run downstairs to meet sans at the door.

"You ready?" He asks

"Yep lets go." It was so obvious on how excited you were. You grab sans hand and head out the door.

Not to your surprise you are in the store the minute you walk out the front door. All you do is look at sans and he shrugs his shoulders. The first thing you do is go to the clothes department. You look around and see some clothes you like. After looking at some price tags you put the clothes back and start looking in clearance. Sans grabs your hand and drags you to the changing room. He closes the door and throws some clothes over the door.

"If ya like something, try it on don't just put it back." He says leaning against the other side of the door.

You look at the clothes he gave you and realize it was all the clothes you put back. You didn't know he was watching what you were doing. You never even saw him look at you when you were shopping how did he know. This made you feel happy to know he was watching you. You tried on the first outfit. It was a gray top with lace sleeves and a belt across the waist. It was soooo cute. You open the door to show sans the outfit.

"W-well what do y-you think." You were worried about his opinion.

You look up from the floor and see sans with wide eyes. He had is mouth slightly parted as if he was stunned. You look him in the eyes and your face begins to heat up.

"Woah." You hear him say under his breath.

He tries to gather himself and find words but all he could say was ' I like it'. You found it funny the way sans reacted to the outfit. You continued to try on clothes until your hands were full of clothes.

"Sans are you really gonna pay for all this?" You ask still hesitant on letting him pay.

"Yeah think of it as a Christmas gift." He says with a smile.

After you pay for the clothes you and sans go home drop off the clothes. It takes a bit for you to find a spot in the house to put them. Sans offers his closet but you felt you didn't want to invade his space anymore than you already were. Sans shows you a closet slightly hidden in the hall. You  used this as your new closet. It was big and you wondered why you had never seen it before. After organizing your clothes you walk back downstairs and sit beside sans on the couch.  He was watching another Christmas movie.

"So do you want to help me make a Christmas party?" You ask.

Sans opens his mouth to speak when suddenly his phone starts to ring. He opens it and sees papyrus was calling. He stood up and walked to the kitchen to answer it. You watch sans as he paces while on the phone. He seemed very nervous, his voice begins to raise and beads of sweat start to appear on his skull.  "No pap, listen you cant tell undyne about the human or else.." He stops and listens to pap on the other side. "What do you mean your on your way over, what about frisk?" You stand up to go and meet sans in the kitchen. You grab his arm and he tries to reassure you by patting your head. "Ok I guess we'll just have to try and make it work." Sans closes the phone and shoves it in his pocket.

"Ok kid here's the deal,  Uh...Undyne is coming over." He says resting his hand on your shoulder.

You remember the name Undyne from when you first arrived at the underground. She was the head of the royal guard and would capture any human. You listened as sans gave you directions on what to do when she got here.

"First kid you gotta stand tall, don't let her know your scared no matter what." He begins to grab your hand and lead you to the center of the room.

"Second you have to make sure she knows you don't mean any harm." He pauses for a second and looks as if deciding to show you something or not.

"Ok kid what I'm about to do you have to promise not to freak out."

Your eyes grow wide and you nod your head in agreement. He seemed nervous to show you the final direction which made you worry all the more. He looks at you and sticks his and out and grabs the air. He pulls toward himself and you feel a sudden light headedness. You look in front of you and see a small red heart flouting in front of you. Fear begins to rise and your nerves are on edge.

"This is your soul. You have to protect this no matter what." Sans explains.

You reach for your soul and touch it and feel a chill go own your back.

"When undyne shows up you might enter a fight, and she will attack your soul. You have to dodge her attacks and no matter what don't fight back. The only way to win is to gain her trust. Do you understand" He asks.

"Okay, but what happens if she hits my soul?" you ask.

"I'll make sure that doesn't happen." He says reassuring you.

You suddenly hear a pounding on the door. Sans puts back your soul and stands between you and the door. The door flies off the hinges and onto the ground in front of sans. You look up to see a woman in armor. She had red hair and fish like features. You look behind her to see papyrus looking at you nervously.

"Where's the human!" she shouts.

You turn white as a ghost as she look at you. Sans still between both of you, she walks closer.

"What are you doing sans protecting the human?" she asks out of anger.

"Look undyne, the kids different than the others." Sans says

You walk out from behind sans, remembering what he told you. You stand tall and look undyne in the eyes. She looks down at you and a blue sphere appears in her hands. You try not to flinch as she walks closer to you.

"You think you can beat me huh punk?" He asks staring at your eyes.

You stay silent and stand your ground. Both the skelebros are speechless. Undyne looks you over and starts to analyze your intentions. She finally grabs you by your shirt and lifts you up to her face. You struggle for air when you look undyne in the eye.

"Look I don't want to fight" you say in between breaths.

"Are you too scared to fight? Scared you'll lose?" She says hoisting you up higher.

Sans tries to interfere but is shot down but Undyne's glare.

"No, I just don't have a reason to fight you." You answer.

"Then I'll give you a reason." She says throwing you to the ground and pulling out your soul.

You quickly grab your soul and jump to your right. You look and see a slash in the carpet beside you. You look up and see she is about to strike. You keep dodging her attacks one after another.

"Why do we have to fight?" You ask in between movements.

"Quit talking and fight back ya pip squeak" She says as she launches a spear towards you.

You try your best to think of a plan. 'Bingo' you think to yourself.

"I bet you couldn't be my friend." You say trying to intimidate her.

"What?! are you kidding, who would want to be your friend." She says. Putting down her spear, you sense you had the right thought.

"So your saying you cant and its too hard to be my friend so why even try."

"Please I can be your friend easily" She says.  

Sans and papyrus start to catch on to your plan and try to help.

"NYE HE HE I GUESS ITS TOO MUCH OF A CHALLENGE FOR YOU UNDYNE." papyrus says walking into the living room.

" I guess you could say she's got her eye on you frisk." sans says with a snicker

Undyne becomes angered by all the doubt you were giving her.

"Fine I accept your challenge, the human and I will become frien..no Best Friends!" She says with great enthusiasm.

"UM I THINK I AM THE HUMANS BEST FRIE.." Papyrus tries to say but is interrupted.

"So, best friend, what do you want to do first." She asks as gets comfortable on the couch.

You look over at sans and ask him about the Christmas party. You then decide your party would be a little bigger than expected.

"Well would you like to come to our Christmas party?" you ask.

Papyrus and undyne both seem surprised by this and both agree to help. You began making plans. That day you made a list of invitations you would send out, of coarse the others helped since you didn't know  anyone yet. You made a shopping list and ideas for decorations. You told undyne, before she left, that she should bring the Christmas tree. After Undyne left, you let out the breath you didn't know you were holding. Sans comes by and sits next to you.

"Good job kid. I didn't think ya had it in ya." He says with his hand on your shoulder.

"That makes both of us. Sans I still have so many questions about the underground." You say looking at him.

"I know kid and I'll be there every step of the way."

"Thanks sans." you smile and lay your head on his shoulder.

"HEY WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME WE WERE HAVEING A CHRISTMAS PARTY?" papyrus asks with great emotion. You and sans look at each other and laugh.

I tried to make this Christmas themed but it looks like most of the Christmas stuff will come in the next chapter....(-_-  ) sorry

I am sorry if this seemed very fast paced. I feel like i didn't put enough detail into it and I'm sorry for that. I will try my best in the next chapter.
