Frisk's POV

"Shopping?" I asked.

"Shopping!" Chara cheered.

"Shopping..." I groaned.

Chara and I were sitting in the living room of our house while Asgore was out grocery shopping. He offered for me to come with him, but I declined. It was December, that time of the year where snow began to fall and freeze your ass off, sweet treats are being sold around many different stores (Which was one of the good things about the holidays), those clique Christmas specials are being aired on TV, presents are exchanged, and lots of other things.

This will be my first proper Christmas, since... uhh... everything.

I was peacefully reading a book to pass the time, until Chara suggested we go shopping.

"Now why the hell would I agree to go shopping?"

"Because you love me?" She grinned.

I raised an eyebrow at her. "I do?"

"Please?" She begged.

"Chara. Its freezing, I'm not in the mood, I could do other things that doesn't involve me going outside, I don't like shopping, and its freezing." I retort.

"But its almost Christmas! That means we need to go Christmas shopping for presents!" She said.

"Then you go." I say, focusing my gaze back on the book I was reading. "Just buy the gifts for me."

"But it wont be special if you don't pick out the presents yourself." She pouted.

I let out a sigh. I closed the book and placed it on my lap, looking back at her.

"If I go, will you stop bothering for the rest of the day?"

"I will! I promise!" She smiled brightly, her eyes sparkling in delight.

"Fine." I grumbled, standing up.

"Yay!" She screamed, tackling me into a tight hug.

"Ack! Get off me!" I push her slightly.

"Heh, heh. Oops." She laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her head.

"You know, I would murder you if I didn't care about you." I murmured.

"Aww~! Tough old Frisk cares about me~" She cooed, poking my cheek.

"Shut up!" I growl. "Don't make me change my mind." I warned her.

"No! No! Just go and change already!" She said, shoving me up the stairs.

Chara hummed happily as we walked through the mall with a skip in her step, each of us carrying may shopping bags in both of our hands. I pulled on the hem of my red and green stripped sweater as I adjusted it. Chara made me wear this sweater as she had a matching one, but the colors being in reverse. We had been shopping for about two hours strait, and I feel like I would pass out from exhaustion if we continued on any further.

"Can we take a break? My feet hurt..! And I'm freezing cold!" I complained.

"Oh quit complaining! Get into the holiday spirit!" She smiled, turning to face me. "Let the holiday magic give you strength!"

"The holiday magic is a lie." I huff, crossing my arms.

"Hmph! Don't be a killjoy Frisk." She puffed her cheeks out.

"Whatever. Lets just get this over with, who's left?" I say.

"Paps, Sans, and Hapstablook." Chara replied, looking at the small paper on her hand.

"Wait, I still have to buy that smoking trashbag a gift?" I whine.

"Yes you do." She says, looking sharply at me.

"But I-"

"No buts, Frisk." She firmly said.

"Okay..." I grumbled.

"Speak of the devils."

She gestured towards a store as a pair of skeletons, a tall one in an orange jacket and a short one with a cyan blue scarf, exited the store with shopping bags in their hands. It was the skeleton brothers. Chara smiled as she pulled on my arm and began to drag me towards them.

"What are you doing?!" I shouted.

She ignored my screams of protest as she called out their names, waving her other hand to get their attention.

"Papyrus! Sans! Over here!"

They stopped in their tracks as they both turned towards us. Papyrus had his usual poker face on as he removed the ciggeret in his teeth with his index finger and middle finger, puffing out some smoke. Sans on the other hand was smiling his bright smile and eagerly waving his hand towards us. Once we arrived in front of them, Chara let go of me and tackled Papyrus into a tight hug as Sans did the same to me. Papyrus and I both dropped our shopping bags as we nearly fell on the floor by the sudden impact.

"Hi Paps!"
"GREETINGS HUMAN!"

Chara happily hugged the tall skeleton as he sighed, patting her head while Sans lightheartedly kissed my cheek, making my face heat up slightly.

"How are ya doing kiddo?"

"Great!"

They began to chat as I reluctantly hugged back the smiling skeleton. I buried my face in his chest as I hid the smile that I tried to bite back while he rested his head on mine.

"Hey Blueberry." I say, my voice muffled.

The snow weather had made the mall colder than it usually was, and I'm already not a fan of the cold. Despite the fact that Sans was a skeleton, he was surprisingly warm, making me hug him tighter as I shiver slightly. I hear him chuckle as I felt his arms let go of me. When I looked up at him, he untied his scarf around his neck and tied it around my neck. Cupping my cheeks and kissing my forehead, he grinned.

"BETTER?" He questions.

"Mhmm." I hummed quietly, my gaze down on the floor. "Thanks. I hope you don't mind me borrowing this for a while."

"ITS NO TROUBLE AT ALL, HUMAN." He says brushing some strands of my chocolate brown hair out of my face. "SO HUMAN, ARE YOU AND HUMAN CHARA GOING CHRISTMAS SHOPPING TOO?" He asks.

"Ya. I was kinda forced here though." I answer.

"WELL ME AND MY BROTHER ARE JUST ABOUT DONE SHOPPING FOR PRESENTS." He smiles widely. "I CAN'T WAIT TO GIVE YOU AND HUMAN CHARA AND THE REST OF OUR FRIENDS YOUR GIFTS!"

"Cool. Can't wait either." I try to say nonchalantly, pulling a half smile.

Truth is, I didn't know what to get him or his brother for Christmas. The little ghost will be easy, I think. But I never actually thought of what to get Sans for Christmas. This is my first freaking Christmas in a long time! You can't blame me! What am I suppose to do?!

"HUMAN?"

I snapped out of my thoughts as I can see Sans waving his cyan blue gloved hand in front of me, a concerned look on his face.

"Huh?" I say, shaking my head.

"ARE YOU ALRIGHT HUMAN?" He asks.

"Y-ya, I'm fine." I say, slightly embarrassed. "Sorry I was just... thinking."

He chuckled.

"Whats so funny?" I asked, genuinely curiously, tilting my head to the side as I raised an eyebrow at him.

"NOTHING. IT JUST..." He shakes his head. "YOUR REALLY CUTE, HUMAN."

"Did you just call me... c-cute?!" I nearly screamed.

"D-DON'T HIT ME!" He quickly says, crossing his arms in defence as he closed his stary cyan blue eye sockets.

"Grrr... be thankful I find you really cute too." I growled, muttering the last part.

He breath out a sigh of relief. He soon quickly apologized when he realized that I had dropped my shopping bags from earlier. Shaking my head, I flashed him a quick smile, before we began to pick up my bags. After, I bowed down slightly and thanked him.

"Come on Frisk!"

We both turned our heads to find Chara and Papyrus finished with their conversation as Chara waved her hand to me while Papyrus was shooting deadly glares towards me.

"Its time we finish up our Christmas shopping!" She had a sly smile on her face. "Time to say goodbye to your skeleton boyfriend!"

I scowled as I gave her an ice cold glare. She simply stuck her tongue out as she laughed. I turned back to face the skeleton beside me.

"Well I guess I'll be going." I dully say, pointing behind me with my thumb.

He nods his head, beaming. "GOODBYE HUMAN."

I turned around and was about to walk towards Chara. But before I could take a step, I felt my arm being grabbed as I was spun around.

"WAIT! I FORGOT SOMETHING!"

I soon felt Sans press his teeth against my lips, giving me a swift kiss. I let out an unintentional and annoying little squeak as my face flushed a light red.

"I LOVE YOU, HUMAN." He smiled.

"I know." I grin, rolling my hazel brown eyes. "I love you too, blueberry." I whispered softly.

He gave me one last kiss on my nose before I turned around and ran towards Chara. When I arrived by her side, she finished waving towards the skeleton brothers.

"Lets go?" I say.

"Mhmm!" She says, nodding her head.

We began to walk away as I felt Chara nudge my shoulder, giving me a knowing look.

"So, what are you getting Sans for Christmas~?" She asks.

"Crap, I don't know..!" I breath out.

"Aww! its alright. We'll find him something." She encourages, patting my back.

We then continued to walk around the mall and finish our Christmas shopping.

~~~Time Skip to Christmas!!!~~~

"Hey dudes! Look who finally decided to show up!" Napstaton exclaimed, pulling Chara and I into a tight hug.

"I-its... nice to s-see y-y-you..." Chara managed to breath out. "M-merry Christmas..."

"Hey robot..! We n-need air!" I wheezed.

"Whoops." He says, instantly letting go of us. "Sorry there guys."

"Its fine." Chara laughed.

We handed our gifts to Napstaton and greeted him a 'Merry Christmas' as he let us into his gigantic mansion of a house. When we entered, I can see all of our closest friends were already in, talking and laughing with one another, eating some Christmas treats, or dancing and singing to the Christmas songs that seemed to be playing around the house. Everyone greeted us as we entered the house.

"Come one! Lets go give everyone their gifts!" Chara said, sounding thrilled.

She ran of and began to eagerly hand out her gifts to everyone. I smiled slightly at her childish antics as I shook my head. I began walking around and giving my gifts to everyone as I would receive gifts from them as well. I had a small polite smile whenever I gave my gifts and nodded as a thank you whenever they would give me a gift.

As I was handing over the last of my presents, I adjusted the cyan blue scarf around my neck when suddenly a pair of hands suddenly covered my eyes, making me jump.

"Who the-?"

I turned around and I immediately felt someone lightly kiss my lips. I froze in place as the smiling skeleton in front of me chuckled. He wore a light cyan blue Christmas sweater with small little green Christmas tree designs and a giant decorated Christmas tree in the center, dark sea blue sweatpants, and his usual cyan blue boots and cyan blue gloves. He was also wearing a matching cyan blue Christmas hat.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS HUMAN!" He happily greeted me.

"Next time, warn me." I say, glaring slightly at him.

"ALRIGHT." He smiles. "DO YOU LIKE MY HAT?"

"Uhhh, sure. Its cute on you." I say, rubbing the back of my head.

His smile widened as he tilted his head backwards and then tilted it forward. The tip of the hat that was bent backwards, flipped forwards and revealed a small looking plant with small red looking berries tied to the tip if the hat by a red ribbon. It hanged in the middle of us as I stared at it with wide eyes.

"Is... Is that a-?"

I was cut of when Sans pulled me close to him and pressed his teeth against my lips as he shut his eye sockets, wrapping his arms around my waist. I quickly melted into the kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck, my heart beating rapidly, while my eyes slowly started to close. As hard as I tried to prevent my face from heating up, a dark red blush crept up on my face. This goddamn skeleton will be the death of me one day.

When we pulled away, he pressed his forehead against mine as he nuzzled our foreheads against each other. Both our eyes carefully opened, making us stare at each other.

"Idiot..! I told you to give me a warning!" I say, burying my red face into his chest as he hugged me closer to him.

"TECHNICALLY, I DID." He grins playfully. "AS THROUGH HUMAN TRADITIONS, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS PLANT MEANS I HAVE TO MY LOVE AND AFFECTION TOWARDS YOU."

"Where the hell did you even get that hat?"

"IT WAS A GIFT FROM THE HUMAN CHARA." He says as he began to run his boney fingers through my hair.

Chara huh? I looked behind Sans as I see Chara talking with our scientist friend, Undyne. As they laughed, Chara noticed me staring intently at her as she shot me a mischievous grin, winking.

"Of course she would give you that." I rolled my eyes.

"SPEAKING OF GIFTS." He said as he let go of the hug.

He gave me a box wrapped in those special Christmas wrapping papers with a red ribbon on top. I took the box and handed him my own gift. I will admit, I was kinda nervous when he started ripping open the gift I got for him. I didn't really know what to get everyone, so presents were really crappy. When he opened it, it revealed a small taco looking pillow. I gulped.

I watched his expression as he curiously looked at the pillow for a moment.

'Shoot. Maybe he doesn't like it..?'

I was about to say something when his stary eye sockets lit up in delight, smiling widely. He engulfed me into a tight hug.

"I LOVE IT SO MUCH! THANK YOU SO MUCH HUMAN!" He gleefully says.

"No problem, blueberry." I let out a sigh of relief as I giggled softly.

Once he let go, I decided to open the present he gave to me. I ripped off the wrapping, uncovering a big box of those fancy assorted chocolate. I couldn't stop the huge smile that spread across my face. I haven't had chocolate in so long since Chara made me go on a 'No Chocolate Diet'!

"I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET YOU A NECKLACE, BUT I REMEMBERED YOU WEREN'T REALLY THE TYPE TO LIKE ACCESSORIES." He begins. "BESIDES, ITS CHRISTMAS! I'M SURE HUMAN CHARA WOULDN'T MIND IF YOU HAD JUST A BOX." He says, winking.

I tackled Sans into a hug as I probably was squeezing the air out of him (Then again, he doesn't have any lungs.), kissing his teeth.

"I love you so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your the best!" I squealed.

He rubbed the back of his neck as he let out a nervous laugh, his cheeks dusted a bright cyan blue.

"ANYTHING TO SEE YOU SMILE." He says, hugging me back.

"Come on! Lets go sit by the couch and have some chocolate!" I excitedly say.

I was about to drag him over to to the nearest place to sit and start munching down on my chocolate, when I remembered something. I gave him the chocolate.

"Hey blue, hold this for a sec." I tell him. "I need to give one last gift. I'll be right back."

"Alright." He nods his head in understanding.

I tiptoed up slightly and gave him a small kiss on his cheekbone, before I turned around and began to search the room. I clutched the small box in my hand as I let out an exasperated sigh.

'Why do I have to do this?' I thought as I let out a low growl.

Eventually I finally spotted my target exit the dinning room. I took a deep breath. Time to get this over with.

"Hey! Trashbag!" I called out.

He stopped waling as he turned his head to the side. He had an annoyed yet confused look on his face as I began to walk towards him. I puffed my cheeks out as I huffed, handing him the small box.

"Chara made me do this."

He stared at me for a moment and hesitantly took the gift. I was surprised when he handed me a gift too.

"Don't worry, Sans made me do this as well." He bluntly says, slightly glaring at me.

As soon as we exchanged our gifts, I immediately walked away and looked down at the present, curiously. What the hell would he get me. I stopped walking and carefully began to rip open the wrapper. Finally when I finished opening the wrapping, I felt a soft fabric brush against my skin. I held the gift in front of me and found a crimson red sweater with black stripes on each of the sleeves and a giant black heart on the center.

I was surprised that I actually found it appealing. I stared at it for a bit before an idea popped into my head. I felt insane for thinking of this, but I held the sweater as I ran to the nearest bathroom and locked the door.

"HUMAN! I SEE YOUR WEARING THE SWEATER MY BROTHER GAVE TO YOU." Sans smiled.

I nodded my head as I sat beside him. I leaned my head on his shoulder as I opened the box of chocolate while Sans wrapped his arms around my wait, pulling me closer to him.

"I may absolutely despise your brother." I say as ate one of the small chocolates. "But his gift wasn't half bad."

"I'M GLAD TO HEAR."

We sat in silence for a bit.

"... you picked this out for him, didn't you?"

"... THE PRESENTS HE WAS PICKING WEREN'T EXACTLY... THE BEST."

I let out a small laugh as I closed my eyes. "You and Chara need to give up on us becoming friends. Its just not happening."

"WELL, THERE'S NO HARM IN TRYING." He shrugs.

He turned his head to face me as he buried his face into my hair as he embraced me tighter.

"I LOVE YOU, FRISK." He whispered into my hear.

"I love you too, Sans." I quietly said back, nuzzling closer to him.

"Get a room you two!" Someone shouted.

Without letting go of the hug, we turned our heads to Chara's smiling face with bright stary eyes and Papyrus' poker face with a small glare as they stared at us. My gaze met with the tall skeleton's gaze as the ends of my lips tugged upwards.

"Hey smokey!" I grinned slightly. "Thanks for the gift."

He was silent, before he grinned back and reached into his pockets and brought out a small box of cigarettes, my gift to him.

"Same too you, brat."

"Frisk... Is that Chocolate?!"
"BROTHER... ARE THOSE CIGARETTES?!"

"Uh oh..."

I broke from the hug as i stood on my feet and began to run away from Chara, while Papyrus quickly teleported away as Sans stood up and began to look for him.

"Frisk! Your suppose to be on a no chocolate diet!" Chara shouted as she continued to chase me.

"Merry Christmas Chara!" I screamed back, sticking my tongue out and continuing to run.
