A loud collection of roars echoed throughout the night as a horde of creatures were now at the Tokyo Branch of the Demon Hunter Organization. As Shiki and Megumi looked at each other for a moment, they nodded their heads as their objective was clear. Until Olivia is back, they have to do their utmost best to keep the base safe.

"Let's go, Shiki."

"On it."

The moment Shiki said this, he suddenly turned around as he stabbed the three Black Keys into the chest of one of the creatures trying to attack him from behind. The moment he removed the Black Keys from the creature's chest, he suddenly turned around as he stabbed them through another creature's head.

"Megumi-senpai, i'll handle close range combat. Can you back me up", Shiki asked he suddenly lunged forward. While Shiki dashed forward, Megumi sighed for a moment before a small smile began to form on her face. With electricity dancing around both of her hands, the girl smiled as she lunged forward along with Shiki.

"You're ten years too early to give me orders, my adorable kouhai", Megumi exclaimed as she used her electricty to create a pair of clawed gloves that extended to her elbows. Soon Megumi swung both of her claws in a horizontal arc as three of the monsters in front of her sliced into pieces as they hissed in pain from the burning sensation of her claws piercing through their flesh.

"Then don't let me show you up, Senpai", Shiki stated as he threw the Black Keys he had in each hand through six of the creatures skulls. Their blood staining the ground as they felt cold metal going through their heads. However, as Shiki reached for his knife, he noticed something wasn't right.

"Wait a minute? When I fought Merkava and the ghouls, my heart was racing and I barely had time to think. My body just moved on its own, while that bloodlust was consuming me. But against these creatures, that isn't happening."

That brief moment of hesitation was just the window the enemy needed. The moment Shiki hesitated to keep moving, he was suddenly hit from the left by a large mass of flesh that towered over him. As this happened, Megumi tried to chase after Shiki, only for more of these deformed monsters to appear before her.

"Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!!! That patchwork faced bastard got us good", Megumi yelled in frustration as she extended her arms forward while focusing her lightning at the tips of her claws, creating orbs of lightning as she fired them at three transfigured humans ahead of her. The moment the orbs made contact with the monstrosities, they suddenly exploded as the monsters were screaming in agony as their bodies were being charred.

"These things may be weak, but they vary in shape and size. Not to mention this is a goddamn army. Looks like i'm in trouble."

~With Shiki~
Suddenly the creature that grabbed hold of Shiki slammed the boy's body against a tree. Just as the monster was about to open it's jaw, Shiki quickly stabbed his knife into the monster's skull. The moment this happened, Shiki's eyes widen in shock as the beast suddenly shrunk to the point it was no bigger than a squirrel.

"What the hell?"

"Wow, that was amazing. I thought Megumi-chan was interesting but you.........I think you just might be even more interesting."

The sound of clapping could be heard as Shiki turned towards the direction he heard the voice. When he did, he saw a tall individual with long grayish-blue hair wearing a black shawl that is separated into three pieces on the left sleeve and matching pants along with white shoes.

"You're that bastard that was with Merkava that night."

"Strange. I don't sense any mana from this guy like I do with Megumi-chan, yet he's still able to see a curse like me. I wonder, are his eyes the same as mine?"

"Nice to meet you, my name Mahito. Now then, there's something i'd like to kn-"

Before Mahito could finish his sentence, Shiki suddenly leapt forward as he first threw three Black Keys from his left hand at Mahito. Seeing this, the cursed spirit quickly reached into his pocket and retrieved a human he transfigured. The moment he held it in front of him, Mahito used his Idle Transfiguration to make the human's body expand so wide that it was comparable to a shield as the Black Keys were now stuck in it's face as it screamed in pain while blood dripped from its wounds.

The moment this happened, Mahito noticed Shiki wasn't in sight. However, what truly made this a bad situation was the fact Shiki had no mana for Mahito to sense and pin down his location. As Mahito searched around, he hissed in pain as he felt a burning sensation in his right arm. When Mahito looked at his arm, he saw a Black Key pierced through his bicep.

Shortly afterwards, the sound of steel clashing against steel echoed throughout the night. While Mahito was removing the Black Key from his right arm and healing it, he saw Naoya standing behind him with Asuramaru drawn as Shiki swung his knife at the cursed treasure. Soon Naoya and Mahito jumped away from Shiki as the curse started to laugh.

"Hahahaha. You didn't even let me finish my sentence and here we are. You must really hate me, huh Shiki. Even though this is our first time speaking face to face."

"That's not it, dumbass", Naoya stated as he stared at Shiki. "You can only focus on Mahito because of the Nanaya blood in your veins. Right now, I bet all you're thinking about is how to kill Mahito despite the fact you have two enemies before you. Hell, I bet right now, your instincts are only telling you that Mahito is the only threat. All because I'm merely human."

"Nanaya? What the hell are you talking about? My family name isn't Nanaya. It's Kori-", Shiki paused as the sound of static entered his ears. Nanaya.......why did that name sound so familiar to him. Not only that, why did this Naoya person know so much about his situation. He was even right about how his bloodlust was only telling him to kill Mahito. Seeing this, Naoya smirked as he pointed Asuramaru towards Shiki.

"I see, so you don't even know. About the sins of your family and your own affinity for murder. Then allow me, as the next Zenin head, to educate you. You washed up remnant of the Nanaya clan."

"I don't need to listen to you, ya arrogant sack of shit", Shiki stated as he took off his Mystic Eye Killers. The moment he opened his eyes, he could see them. The lines of death were all around his opponents and the very land that they stood. As Shiki held this hilt of his knife tightly, he lunged towards Mahito and Naoya.

"All that matters in this moment, is that you bastards don't get your way."
