"I'm glad you could attend this meeting on such short notice, especially after what happened at the Tokyo Branch."

Footsteps could be heard echoing through the hallway of what seemed to be an estate. Walking through these halls were both Shiranui and Olivia. As they walked through the hallway, Olivia decided to ask Shiranui a few questions.

"So what is this meeting really about? It's obviously got nothing to do with the current situation of the Tokyo Branch since you already issued for Koritsu Shiki and Hayasaka Megumi coming to the branch and help investigate, yet you pulled me away from them. What is going o-"

"The black beast that went around Japan and devoured humans. While most of it's activity happened in Sendai, it has entered Tokyo Branch's jurisdiction on multiple occasions."

Olivia was silent for a moment as she heard Shiranui's claim. Noticing this, Shiranui smiled as they walked a bit faster, as if telling Olivia to pick up the pace. As Olivia began to walk faster, she had an annoyed expression on her face.

"What exactly are you on about, Shiranui?"

"I just find it strange that someone of your standing would let a beast like that roam around your territory. I'm even more surprised you would let it live and have time to roam around."

As Shiranui said this, they saw that they've reached their destination. As Olivia looked forward, she saw two large doors in front of her. As Shiranui began to open the doors, Olivia saw two figures sitting at their assigned seats.

"Olivia von Degurechaff, Shiranui brought up a good argument, which is why we called this meeting. Someone of your skill and efficiency could've made short work of that Black Beast, yet we hear some newbie was the one to slay it instead."

The first one to speak was a tall, intimidating man. He had brown hair that reached above his shoulders as his piercing green eyes looked at Olivia. He wore a white long-sleeved shirt that buttons at the collar underneath his dark blue kimono. He completed his outfit with light-colored hakama bottoms and sandals. This man was Mukuro Zenin, head of the Zenin Clan.

"Now, now. We should at least hear Olivia out. However, if I don't like her answer, I'll gladly punish her myself. We can't have people dying just because of personal matters."

The second person to speak was a beautiful woman who looked to be in her mid-thirties. She had neck-length silver hair that has two braids tied on either side in the back with square bangs hanging on the left side and vibrant blue eyes. She wore a distinctive white, ankle-length cloak, a thigh-length trench coat, knee-high boots, a miniskirt, and black stockings as her boots and gloves had a blue trim to them. This woman was Naomi Fumeiyo, head of the Fumeiyo clan .

"If that were the case, why did you wait until after a civilian was involved to issue out a mission for its extermination", Olivia asked the heads with an annoyed tone in her voice. "If you knew for the longest that it was out and about, why did you inform everyone the moment Koritsu Shiki joined?"

"The same thing could be said to you, Olivia von Degurechaff" Shiranui stated with a small smirk on their face, contrasting the ever present coldness in their blue eyes. "After all, you were the first one who reported it's existence to us, even before Koritsu Shiki was involved. So let me ask you.....what is your connection with the beast and what are you hiding?"

~Meanwhile~
Three Black Keys flew in the air as they were heading straight for Mahito. Seeing this, the curse simply dashed towards the Holy Sacraments. Just before the Black Keys could hit him, Mahito used Idle Transfiguration on himself in order to shrink himself to the size of a toddler as the weapons flew by him without leaving a scratch.

The moment Mahito reshaped his body back to its original form, he saw Shiki dashed in front of him with great speed. As Shiki reached into his shirt and took out three hilts, the blades suddenly sprung forth as he swung the Black Keys at Mahito as he tried to cut the lines of death he saw on the curse's body.

However, his attack never met his target's body. Just before the Black Keys could touch Mahito, Shiki was suddenly kicked at his skull as he was sent flying to a tree. As Shiki's body collided with the tree, he was starting to have trouble breathing as he looked at the person who kicked him chatting with Mahito.

"Wow, you saved my butt. Thanks, Nao-chan", Mahito stated with a smile as Naoya scoffed at him for the horrible nickname. Soon Naoya looked at Shiki getting back up as he smirked at the executioner while thinking to himself.

"You of the Nanaya clan were always monsters when it came to fighting non-humans. It's your greatest strength....and weakness", Naoya smirked as he began to unsheathe the sword placed on his left hip. It was a katana with a dark red blade as a black strip was going down the middle of it. "It's time to play, Asuramaru. First Edge:Michi No Kage."

As Naoya stabbed Asuramaru into the ground, the sword generated a stream of shadow like energy onto the ground. The moment this happened, the shadows rushed towards Shiki as they suddenly formed into spikes. Seeing this, Shiki used all the strength in his legs to dash to the left in order to avoid the spikes.

"Oi, don't go taking all the fun for yourself", Mahito said with a smile as he grabbed three more transfigured humans out of his pocket. Soon the curse used his Idle Transfiguration to merge the three souls together and directed the overwhelming output towards Shiki.

Seeing the attack heading towards him, Shiki quickly took out a Black Key and threw it at the attack heading towards him. The moment the Black Key hit the line of death that Shiki was aiming for, the attack was dismantled into several pieces before it could reach him. As Shiki was standing up, he looked towards Naoya and Mahito.

"Asuramaru......." Shiki mumbled as he looked towards Naoya. "You just called that blade Asuramaru, right? If so, that simplifies things. I'm taking it with me after hacking that shit eating grin off your face."

"Arrogant brat, it's time for you to learn where you stand. You and your dead clan have no place in this world anymore."
