Final Judgement

As Asuramaru was returning back to its slumber within the sword it was bound to, Shiki blinked rapidly as he looked at where he was. Right now, he was standing beside Megumi as he saw the defeated Naoya Zenin and the heavily injured Mahito. As Megumi looked at the boy, her eyes widen when her gaze was directed at the sword in his hands.

"Shiki, is that-"

Shiki didn't say a word as he placed his left hand on top of Megumi's head, as if to say that he would handle the rest from here. As the boy move forward, Mahito unconsciously jumped backwards. Seeing this, Shiki's grip on Asuramaru tightened as a sadistic smirk was slowly forming on his face.

"What's wrong, curse? I'm basically a magic-less monkey, so I'm obviously the weakest here. So tell me....why did you take a step back?"

Just as Shiki said this, Mahito was surprised when the boy was suddenly in front of him and Naoya. As the boy swung Asuramaru, Mahito saw it. The look inside of Shiki's eyes as the boy was seconds away from decapitating him. They weren't the look of a person who was fighting for a just cause. No, it was the look of someone following his desires and acting on instinct.

"I think I like you, human."

"I believe you two had enough fun for the night."

Just as Shiki was about to decapitate Mahito, both the curse and Naoya were suddenly in a sphere made from their own shadows. As Shiki looked on top of the sphere of shadows that trapped Mahito, he saw a small creature that was pitch black and had horns protruding from the top of it's head.

"Who are you?!"

"Consider me an ally of these two. We had intended on eliminating the rest of Tokyo Branch and Olivia von Degurechaff along with it. Though it seems there were two anomalies we were not aware of. A dhampir, a human/vampire hybrid with the blood of Raiju. Then there is the biggest anomaly....you."

As the small creature said this, both spheres that held Mahito and Naoya were seen sinking into the shadows. Just as Shiki was about to go after them, he suddenly felt his arms and legs being restrained. The small creature chuckled as Shiki was wrapped in chains made from his own shadows.

"Koritsu Shiki, we will definitely meet again. If we fail to get the treasures, then you'll be the one to grant master's desire. We shall meet again."

"OI, GET BACK HERE!!!!"

As quickly as he arrived, the small creature disappeared into the night. Naoya and Mahito had managed to get away from Shiki and Megumi. Just as he thought about this, Shiki quickly turned around as he ran towards his partner since the restraints vanished the moment the creature left.

"Megumi-senpai, are you okay? Megumi-senpai", Shiki screamed as saw Megumi on the ground as she was covered in wounds. As Shiki sat down on the ground and held the girl in his arms, he quickly picked her up akin to a princess being carried as he was going to take her back to the Tokyo Branch Headquarters.

"Shiki", Megumi responded softly as her eyes were slowly opening up. When she opened them, she saw Shiki having a look on his face as if he was in deep focus. As she saw that the Tokyo Branch was just ahead, the girl simply smiled as she closed her eyes.

"I knew I could count on you, my adorable Kouhai. Guess I can take a little nap."

~Meanwhile~
"A group of people are trying to collect the S-Ranked Cursed Treasures?!"

That was the first question that escaped from the Zenin leader's mouth as Mukuro was shocked by what Olivia said. While Naomi's eyes were with surprise, Shiranui merely smiled as they looked towards Olivia.

"Father only mentioned it to me once. Apparently a group known as the Messie Déchu have made it their purpose to collect the S-Ranked Cursed Treasures."

"Messie Déchu? If I'm not mistaken, that is French, isn't it? So then, Olivia, what exactly is there goal", Shiranui smiled as they were expecting an answer from the young girl. However, Olivia only shook her head as she herself did not know the goal of this group. Seeing this, Shiranui let a sigh of disappointment escape their lips as they decided on what to do next.

"For the time being, it seems searching for the Cursed Treasures will be our utmost importance more than ever. We clan leaders will do our best to locate them, meanwhile you executioners will continue on with your regular missions. However, Olivia von Degurechaff, should you hide information like this and communicate with the enemy again...."

As Shiranui said this, Olivia's eyes widen in shock as she suddenly fell to her knees. When she looked to the side, she saw Shiranui standing next to her as they had their left hand on her right shoulder. When Shiranui looked at Olivia, they simply smiled softly.

".....then you shall be executed on the spot by Koritsu Shiki himself and he will be in charge of the Tokyo Branch."

"H-huh", Olivia could only mutter that one phrase as she heard the conditions. Her eyes slowly widen in shock as Shiranui didn't let their smile escape from their face. Suddenly Olivia was grabbed by her face as she was lifted into the air. When she opened her eyes, she saw Shiranui just staring at her.

"The purpose of this organization is to protect civilians and keep them unaware of the supernatural world. We're basically hunting hounds for humanity, and you betrayed the owner of said hunting hounds. I don't need a dog who won't listen. Your only answers after your screw up are yes or woof. Do you understand, Olivia von Degurechaff?"

"Y-yes", Olivia responded as she was dropped to the floor. As Olivia was now leaving the area, Shiranui looked towards Naomi and Mukuro as they both glared at them with animosity.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! SHE CLEARLY BETRAYED THE ORGANIZATION! WHY SHOULD WE GIVE HER A CHANCE?!"

"For once, I agree with Mukuro-san here", Naomi stated as she was twirling a strand of her hair with boredom. "You had her in charge of training Hayasaka Megumi and Koritsu Shiki, correct? Then you find out she betrayed us and want the newbie to be her executor if she does it again? What are you after?"

"Who said I was giving her a second chance? If anything, I just guaranteed she never betrays us again", Shiranui smirked as they were reaching into their pocket to grab their phone as they were calling for their ride home.

"She's the type who wouldn't mind dying if it meant her own needs were satisfied, so simply killing her on the spot won't get the message across. If we want full control over her, we need to damage the most important thing to her now. That is her pride, and imagine how much shame she would feel if she were killed by someone weaker than her who also managed to kill her father. Just the thought of that frightens her and she would rather obey us than EVER dying at the hands of Koritsu Shiki."

"Heh, as twisted as always. So here's my question. I can see Hayasaka Megumi benefitting from training with Olivia, but how does a boy with no magic improve from her training," Mukuro asked with a confused expression on his face.

"Her only job with Shiki is to help him undergo the ritual to help him form a contract with Asuramaru, should he retrieve it. As for how will he improve..well, you'll just have to wait and see."

~Later that Night~
"Dammit, I lost again."

Inside of a bar was a tall young man with shoulder length black hair and green eyes who wore a black long-sleeved shirt and matching pants with sandals. As he was sitting in a bar, he lost a game of poker as he was now sighing from boredom. As the man ordered a beer, he was thinking about a job he received from an anonymous customer.

"The moment I lost some money, a new job just falls into my lap. Fate is really confusing sometimes. Whatever, i'll do what i'm paid to do. I wonder if my next target can kill this boredom."
