Me: *updates book 3*
People who have only read the shitty first book:
I walked through the door, untying my uniform. I kicked my shoes off and slumped onto the couch, closing my eyes. I slowly opened my eyes, replaying a part of my shift in my mind. A felt the couch sink in next to me. I look to see the one non-human being that knew me better than myself.
"What's bothering you, lass?"
His fierce yellow eyes peered into mine. I lay on his shoulder and sigh. I stay quiet as he uses his hand to play with my hair.
"Let's go on a walk."
I get up to change into something I can move in. As I get dressed, I start to wonder if I can start putting two and two together. However, I need more evidence. I pick up a notebook and a pen, titling the first page. I knock on Freddy and Goldie's door. I hear a 'come in' and I walk inside.
"Goldie are you up for a walk? I'm working on a project and I need your help."
I hear him groan and sit up in his bed. I cross my arms and tell him to get up.
"It's two in the afternoon! Stop being lazy!"
"Fine!"
He whisks off his blanket, showing me his nakedness. I scream out and cover my eyes, a blush spreading across my face. He mimics my screaming and gets dressed. He goes on about how it's nothing I haven't seen before, at that, I smile and giggle.
I sigh and frown. I'm not sure if this will work. From clues, I know not everyone is who they say there are. I now know there is a certain timeline that I have not been properly informed about.
Goldie snapped me out of my thoughts and put his hand on my shoulder. I smiled again and we made our way to Foxy. I readied myself and we all walked out. As I lead the boys, I was writing things on my notepad, recalling what I heard during my shift.
Flashback———
I dropped off the food of these two men. They thanked me as I cleaned the tables around them. They weren't talking quietly, so it was quiet easy to hear them.
"It's crazy how this place is still standing, they should've demolished it."
I look around and see how old the building is, I laugh in my head at their joke.
"Considering what's happened here, I'm utterly shocked. Do you think it's haunted?"
I began to think about what they said. The first thing that came to mind where my friends. Though, I thought everything happened at the pizzeria. They were the group that was killed first so I like to refer to them as the originals. However, is there something I'm not catching?
"They say this is where it all started. From what I hear, the murderer dropped off the first kid he killed right outside the door. Then, there's that bite of 83'. Hell, it's been decades."
The more they talk about it, the more I put together. I always thought that it was weird that Goldie never had a performance spot. He always said how he was "left behind". Who left him behind?
I walk over to the two men, shaking with excitement to learn the lore of the murders.
"Excuse me, I'm so sorry to interrupt. What was this place originally called? It had to be remodeled, right?"
The men laugh.
"Only the name has been changed. This place was originally called 'Fredbear's Family Diner'."
I thought for a moment. Could Fredbear be Goldie? I mean if he was left behind, could it be because of this bite of 83'? Then what about the bite of 87'?
I thanked the men and went back to working, thinking about everything and anything. Who's child got bit by an animatronic? It's obvious that the child couldn't have lived. Considering the fact that the animatronics are freakishly large and powerful.
Who can I go to? I need to know what happened. Something is pushing me to get to the bottom of this.
Flashback over———
I shake my head, and keep writing. I even work out a timeline. Maybe I can talk to that one animatronic? Oh man, I never got his name. He seems friendly enough. Maybe he was with Fredbear? Is that why he looks like Goldie? I'll have to ask when the time is right.
"Do you boys know where I work at?"
Silence spread through the air. I chuckled and looked back, saying I'd show them. As we nearer closer and closer, I could feel some kind of heat. I looked back once more and looked at Goldie, holding his hand.
"Does this place look familiar to either of you?"
As I asked, I wrote down some notes, waiting for their reaction or answer. Goldie just started through the windows, a look of remembrance in his eyes. Foxy began to sweat and shake some. I wrote everything down and sighed.
"I forgot to pick up my check, you guys just stay out here."
Foxy mumbled at me to not go in there. I gave him a reassuring hug and went inside. As I opened the door, I bumped into Josiah. My check was in his hand, it was in an envelope with a stamp on it. It's nice to know that he was going to send it to me. He handed it to me and gave me a hug.
"Thanks, I would've been screwed without this."
His eyes looked different now. When did he sneak into his mind in the blink of an eye.
"You might want to take your little friends home, they might lose it if they stay any longer."
I look back and find Foxy digging his hook into his arm. I gasp and run over to him, I use fabric from his boots and gently get his hook out of his arm. I tie the fabric to his arm.
"Let's get you boys home."
I walked them home, my head feeling like blood was oozing out of it.
:::::
"..holy shit..these murders have been happening for decades.."
It's been how many years? I mean yes, considering the time line of the night guards, of course it would have been years. However, this is just crazy. This pizza chain has been going strong for quite some time. I take a break and look at my timeline. On my bedroom wall are a jumble of pictures, news articles, and my own notes. Black string is connecting certain things together. I check the time and sigh. It's lunch time and I need to get it going.
I head down the stairs and get my preparations ready. As I'm chopping onions, I slowly stop. I fix my eyes on the plate that I had made for Chica a few days ago. In confusion, I call out to her. Maybe she just wants to be alone. I wait and wait, but I don't get an answer.
I stop what I'm doing and run up the stairs to ask Foxy. I see his door is already open and I head right in. I smile nervously as he stares at the wall. I notice blood is running down his arm. I get some more bandages and come back, re-wrapping his arm.
"Foxy..have you seen Chica?"
Something flashes in his eyes. As if he was snapping out of something. He looks at me like a hopeful child. I could tell something was wrong with him. I can always tell by his eyes.
"No..now that I think about it, I haven't seen her for a while now."
I pause for a minute, then continue wrapping his arm. He thinks for a minute, and sighs.
"What should we do?"
I take my time to think a plan through. It was complete and total silence in the room. I discretely looked at Foxy, only to see him staring at the wall. His eyes looked lifeless and cold. His eyes struck fear and sadness into my heart.
I remember him giving me this look when we first met. It made me want to help him come out of the darkness. I break the silence.
"I would suggest going to investigate, but I'm in no condition. Unless you come with me, I don't think I would make it."
His eyes light up again and he smiles at me with a charismatic grin. He stands up and takes my hand in his, dancing with me around the room. We laugh and giggle as we swirl around the room. However, it seems that when it's quiet, his personality changes. He's closed off and calm. Though, when even the smallest voice speaks, he's charismatic and out there. I wonder if he realizes he does that.
He guides me through the house and takes me out the door, shoving me into my car.

Springtrap POV-
I breathe heavy as I loom over the disembodied animatronic. I pick up certain pieces and stuff them into a trash bag. I tamper and adjust certain parts and marvel at my work. I even add some extra parts.
"One down.."
I toss the trash bag into the dumpsters out back and sigh. I scatter her remaining parts over the attraction, humming as I go along. I stop dead in my tracks, falling to my knees, groaning.
I could feel another soul battling mine. I could feel my conscious slip. I don't want to be in this suit. I want to crawl my way out and do this in my own body. This experience should be mine and no one else's.
With the mind I have left, I desperately try to make my body move. I could feel the meat of my body being torn off as I wiggle free.
:::::
Foxy and I pull up to the attraction and we hop out. With caution setting in, we open the doors and slip inside. We look around, seeing if anything is out of place. The only weird thing was this metallic scent in the air.
With hints of confidence, we searched the attraction. We checked bathrooms and we then checked the office. I checked around the office. I was hit with a wave of nostalgia.
"Aye lass, I'm going to look around some more."
I waved him off and took some time to take in my surroundings. I saw how dark it really was in here. I sat in the chair and checked through the cameras. As I flipped through, I saw something pop up. I immediately checked back on it and searched. Everything was the same color so I couldn't even see. I shake my head and flip to see if I can find Foxy. I flip to camera 2 and I see him staring at the camera.
I noticed the red light being reflected in his bright yellow eyes. I stared through the camera, almost captivated. I blink and look up, feeling alone.
When my eyes look up, I see ghostly versions of the toys that I had briefly encountered before. My skin crawled as I shook my head. They had disappeared, but I could still feel their presence around me. I breathed in a checked around with the equipment. I noticed a reboot and an audio systems.
I looked back at the surveillance cameras and found one of them covered with static. I click reboot and it does what it implies. I glance through the window and I see my reflection. I get up and press my hand to the window, my reflection looking back at me. As my eyes focus a bit harder, I notice a hand that is not my own is pressed up against the glass. I follow the arm connected to the hand and see the animatronic I had met before. I smile and use my other hand to wave. Although, I noticed something seemed off. By the way he smiled, he seemed empty. He seemed like he lost a piece of himself. Perhaps I was overthinking it, but I guess I'll see when the time comes.
He walked over to the door and charged at me with a hug. His arms wrapped around my torso and he cried into my chest. As he cried, he mumbled about someone being gone. He seemed sad, but he also seemed relieved and happy.
"I-I don't want to be left behind again.."
My eyes opened wide at him statement. I had a bit of a flashback to when Goldie said something similar to me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. His hair was just like Goldie's. The way he was torn up reminded me of Goldie. Was he apart of the diner when it was still Fredbear's?
"I won't leave you behind.."
His hold on me tightened. I lifted his head and told him to wait in the office until I came back for him. He held out his pinkie and I linked mine with his. I smiled and sat him down.
I walked out of the office and called out for Foxy. I could hear metal clanking on the ground. As I made my way through the dark, I stepped on something hard.
"Ouch!"
I felt around on the ground and picked up a screw. An unsettling feeling filled my chest and I kept feeling and stepping on metal parts. I tripped over something big. I hissed in pain and I looked back. My eyes go wide as my eyes fall onto what I've tripped over. I crawled over the the dismembered head of the chicken I've come to care for. Her animatronic head stared at me like it had never come to life. I held it to my chest and screamed out. Tears ran down my face. I could hear fast footsteps closing in on my location. I heard a familiar voice gasping behind me. I felt a hook on my right shoulder, but it made me cry even more. Foxy tried to gently get me to put her head down, but I kept holding it to my chest, yelling in protest.
After a moment or two, I stop crying and gently put her head down. I groan and pick it up again, taking it with me to the office. I set it gently on the desk and take a glance at the animatronic who has a tear stained face. I turn to Foxy and explain that we need to bring him with us. With reluctance, Foxy agrees and I lead him to my car. The ride home was silent and thick with tension. As I pulled up to my home, I sigh and hop out.
We all walk in to a silent home. I call out to my favorite night guards and with a sad smile, I ask them for help. I explain everything, occasionally looking back at Foxy and the other one.
"Please, can you fix her?"
The boys smile and nod at me. Tears stream down my face as I smile at them, this time, with more happiness.
I look back to the animatronic.
"So, what is your name?"
He answered with a timid smile.
"M-My name is Springtrap."
