"How could you say that..."

The brown bear stares at his golden counterpart in disbelief and shock. He even scoots away from him a bit.

It was only the two of them out there. The wind was blowing through them, taking over the silence.

"Maybe it's good that she's asleep..that's all I'm saying."

The golden counterpart stands up, stretching some.

"Things have died down. It just...makes sense."

The more and more the gold bear kept trying to explain his point further, the more disgusted and angry the brown bear became.

The brown bear just gets up and walks inside, not wanting to hear more.

'What on earth is he thinking? Why would he want to do that..'

The further the bear gets into the home of the one he cares for, he notices it's quite empty.

He checks all the rooms, but no sign of them.

He was only outside for about an hour, how could he have not noticed their absence?

He goes up the stairs..remembering exactly where you fell. He remembered the 'thud' and how hard it was. He sighs.

It's clear he doesn't show his feelings towards you. However, just because he doesn't show it, doesn't mean it's not there.

Sorta in a brotherly type way. As long as he knows you're safe and healthy, he's gonna make fun of you and playfully bully you. Though, when you're gone, he's gonna remember your laugh and your smile. Even the way you say certain words. To some extent, he takes your presence for granted. In his mind, he wants to show that he's there for you, it's just difficult.

He gets to your door, examining it closely. He slowly opens the door, feeling the cold air. Your specific smell gets to him immediately.

He walks in, looking at the floor, seeing the footprints from the altercation still there.

"I promise..I'll protect you from now on.."

He sighs and walks out, not being able to take it. As he closes the door, he hears another one open.

He hurries down the stairs to see who came in.

His eyes widen, as he sees your frame slowly walking through the door, the others making sure you're stable.

He runs over and hugs you tightly, not even saying a word. All he can do is smile.

You hug back immediately, feeling how warm he is compared to your cold skin.

Soon enough, you get settled in, back to normal you could say. Although, everything still feels a bit off to you. Maybe it's who you've encountered or maybe it's because you just woke up. Who knows at this point.

All you know is the instructions given to you. All you know is that you need to find him.

It needs to happen very soon.
