SANGINI – A NEW BEGINNING! CHAPTER 80

Recap – Mr. BossyPants................

Ragini and Sanskaar along with Dada and Dadi got down from the car in front of his villa. They both were surprised and astonished to see such a lovely house. Sanskaar took their luggage from the car trunk.

Dadi ; sanskaar... beta your house is really beautiful.

Sanskaar : thanks, dadi ma!

Dada ji too blessed him but before they could go inside Mr. Verma came there, his neighbour.

Mr. Verma : hello sanskaar.. how are you? Long time no see.

Sanskaar : hello Mr. Verma! Nice to see you.

Verma : hello Mrs. Kapoor...

While RagSan got a little anxious hearing this, Dadi-Dada looked at the trio in confusion.

Dada : you might be mistaken... they are just engaged not married.

Verma : but....

Ragini : mr. Verma... they are my grandparents.

Verma greets them. But there is still confusion. Sanskaar acts fastly. He takes the luggage inside.

Sanskaar : dadi ma.. dada ji.. come inside. You must be tired. Thank you Mr. Verma. Will see you around.

Dada dadi moves inside with ragini. Mr. Verma too leaves from there after giving a last glance to the family.

Dada : laado.. why was he calling you Mrs. Kapoor?

Both RagSan were quiet. They had no answer to this question. While telling everyone that she was his wife, they never thought that this day will come. And now they had nothing to say. And if they didn't cleared the things now, things will get dirty because sanskaar had allowed their families to visit Ragini in his absence.

Dadi : is there something we should know? Are you hiding something from us?

Ragini ( making her sit on the sofa ) : offo dadi ma.... sit down and relax. Dada ji, you also sit. We'll tell you everything. First let me get water for you. Sansku, help me please.

He nodded and they both leave for the kitchen. Dadi looked around the house, it was beautifully decorated. She knew it was all Ragini's choices, the colours, the theme, everything. She looked at their photographs. She picked up a frame which was from the singing academy, Ragini was standing with a mike and sanskaar was sitting beside her with a guitar. There were several other portraits on the walls. She went through all of them.

Dadi : suniye.. laado is looking so happy in all these pictures.

She said with teary eyes. Dada too comes there. He looked at the pictures and kept his hand on her shoulder. They look at the photo which was from Goa. Ragini and the other girl ( Khushi ) were wearing short clothes with Sanskaar and the boy ( Arnav ) standing close to them.

Dada : Parvati.. look at this picture. Even after wearing modern clothes, our Laado's thinking has not changed. Our values are still with her. Maybe we had put so many restrictions on her.

Dadi : i agree. Maybe we were too harsh with her. We couldn't understand or see her happiness in front of our traditions and rules.

Dada : don't worry parvati. I'm sure now everything will be fine. I always thank that day when we decided to send her with Sanskaar.

Dadi : to be honest, i was scared at first. But seeing his care towards her, i couldn't stop her. And moreover what was left for her in Kolkata. I, being her mother couldn't understand her. If it wasn't for me, Laado would have never faced such situations, such terrible times.

Dada : parvati.. you did what you felt was right. Here no one is wrong or right. Look at our Laado, because of all this nuisance, she has become so strong. She is so happy here. Sanskaar has made her confident and independent. Look at the brighter side, Parvati.

Dadi nodded and wiped her tears. They looked at various pictures of Ragini, Sanskaar, RagSan, RagSanPoo, sanskaar with Kavita and Pooja, Sanskaar with his Kaka and his daughter and RagSan – ArShi. Ragini liked to get pictures framed and keep them aesthetically. She had made the once boring house, bright and colourful. But they couldn't control their emotions when at the end they saw their portraits along with RamTa.

Dadi covered her mouth with her hand. Dada side hugged her.

"how can these kids love us this much? Laado... she sacrificed her life for me and here... she has made us the part of her family. Ji, we don't deserve a daughter like her. She's so pure to be a part of us, our family"

" aisa na bol, Parvati. These are the values which you have given her. She respects us and loves us. This is the most we can ask from her. She has not only given us place in her house but also her heart. And look at this... Ram and Sujata. Ram has always helped us like a son and them as a father. Parvati, our kids are great. And you have to promise me that from now on, you'll not stop Laado from doing anything. And if you ever feel i'm restricting her, you'll tell me. I don't want any hurdles in my children's lives now..."

Parvati nodded. They caressed Ragsan's picture.

Sanskaar : ginu, what should we tell them?

Ragini : i don't know sansku... i'm not sure how they'll react if we tell them the truth.

Sanskaar : but till when we'll hide? Today they have asked, tomorrow someone else will.

Ragini : umm... okay let me handle this. You just nod at whatever i say.. okay?

Sanskaar nods.

Ragini : and be normal in front of them.

He nods again.

Ragini : come lets go now,...

He again nods but keeps standing there only. Ragini face palms herself and drags him out.

Ragini : dadi ma...

She called out as she saw her grandparents looking at their pictures. She gave a huge smile to them. She was still dragging sanskaar, who had a tray with glass water and snacks for the oldies. They smiled seeing the young couple.

Dada : beta.. leave him otherwise the tray will fall from his hand.

Ragini smiled sheepishly and left him. he kept the tray on the table. Everyone settled down. Ragini was in between dada – dadi and sanskaar was sitting in front of them.

Dada : beta... you are happy here na?

Ragini : of course dada ji... more than ever...

She exclaimed. Sanskaar smiled seeing her inner child coming out. Dada and dadi smiled, blessing her. They drink water.

Dadi ; beta.. you didn't tell why that man called you Mrs. Kapoor?

Ragini : dadi ma.. actually when i came here with sansku, we were still in those wedding clothes, so people here thought that I'm his wife.

Dada and dadi looked at them astonished. Sanskaar just nods.

Dadi : what? But why didn't you told the truth?

Ragini : sansku wanted to but i stopped him.

Dada : why? Is that true sanskaar?

They looked at sanskaar who was lost. Ragini signed him to nod. He nodded.

Dadi : but why beta?

Ragini ; dadi ma, where ever we go there'll be a few people who would point at a boy- girl relationship. Friendship doesn't mean anything to them. I didn't wanted anyone to point finger at our friendship that's why i stopped him. and moreover, he was helping me... i could do that much for him na....

Dada : but beta...

Ragini ; it doesn't matter now dada ji. Now we are officially engaged so it's okay. Trust us.

Sanskaar again nodded. Ragini smirked looking at his confused face.

Ragini : dadi ma.. dada ji.. now you rest for sometime... we are expecting Mr. Bossypants in the evening...

Dada : who?

Sanskaar face palmed himself hearing this.

Sanskaar : her new boss. I don't know why she hates him so much. I have invited him for dinner.

Dada : what happened Laado?

Ragini : nothing Dada ji.. i just don't like him.

She keeps her head on his shoulder pouting.

Dadi : beta if you had told us earlier we would have come later na...

Sanskaar : no dadi ma.. it's okay.

Ragini ; of course it's okay. Why would you come later because of Bossypants ?

Sanskaar : enough Ginu...

Ragini twists her lips.

Sanskaar : you guys rest for some time. I have kept your luggage in this room.

He said pointing towards the room on ground floor, Ragini's room. They went inside and sanskaar pulls her in the kitchen. He folds her hand backwards.

Sanskaar : ginu.... bahut tez ho rahi ho tum.. haan??

Ragini (innocently ) : what did i do sansku?

Sanskaar : you told me that you'll cook some story.. but you told the truth only and i was nodding my head like a puppy....

Ragini controls her laugh and pulls his cheek with one hand.

Ragini : aww my cute puppy...

Sanskaar ( angrily ) : GINUU....

Ragini : what ginu? It's your punishment for inviting that sadu bossypants...

Sanskaar ( leaving her hand ) : uff ginu.. tum toh uske peeche hi padh gayi ho.... i wonder if you have kept any nickname for me as well.....

She comes from behind and again pulls his both cheeks. He brushes her off.

Ragini : of course Mr. Bubbles....

She chuckles while he frowns. He runs to catch her.

Sanskaar : ginu.. you are getting out of my hands..... it's high time that i take you under my control.

She runs around the house, throwing cushions at him. He catches them and keeps it back on their place. She runs out of the house followed by him.

Dadi dada are dumbstruck seeing them fight like tom and jerry.

Dadi : hey mara khatushyam ji... do they always behave like this?

Dada : parvati.. kahin hume baal vivah ke jurm mein andar na kar de .....

They look at each other and then goes towards the window to see the cat fight.

Sanskaar : ginu.. i'm giving you last warning.. stop otherwise...

Ragini : otherwise what Mr. Bubbles... hayeee... I have given you such a cute name and you are ainvayi becoming Mr. Grumper...

Sanskaar : don't become like dayaben's mom who keeps giving nicknames to jethalal...

Ragini : o shut up sansku... and stop chasing me.. .. I'm tired

She slows down and breathes heavily. Sanskaar comes from behind and lifts her up holding her waist and rotates her. She screams.

Sanskaar : but i'll never get tired of you ginu....

Ragini : okay baba now put me down.. my head is spinning.

He puts her down and both loses balance and fall down on the grass. They burst out laughing. Dada dadi who were seeing this closed their eyes as they saw them falling.

Dadi : this will be mad house when their kids will join them.

Dada : who knows parvati... we shall pray to God that when that time comes these two kids will get mature...

They chuckle and move inside.

Ragini and Sanskaar were laying beside each other hand in hand. Light cool breeze was playing with their hair. Sanskaar turned facing her. She too did the same.

Sanskaar : ginu, i know why you are doing this.. but trust me these two years will fly soon.. and i'll be back...

Ragini ( keeps her hand on his cheek ) : sansku.. I don't know yaar. But i cant stop worrying about you. How will you manage?

Sanskaar : there's nothing to worry ginu. And moreover Mona Di is also there. And why are you taking tension... we'll talk on video call na... everyday..

Ragini : promise?

Sanskaar : pinky promise, Ms. Crunchie...

Ragini : Ms. Crunchie?

Sanskaar ( chuckles ) : of course... you are always eating something or the other... you don't have a sole right to keep nicknames for others...

Ragini : haw sanskuu...

She gets on top of him and starts hitting him. he first tries to resist her but then holds her hand and pulls her towards himself.. she stops in her actions as she felt the sudden pull and she dashed in his chest, breathing heavily. He stared at her and tucked hair strand behind her ear. She gasped. She looked into his eyes. Eyes filled with love and passion. Her heartbeat reached it's peak.

Sanskaar started pulling her towards himself, holding her waist. They were just inches apart. Their breath was stuck in their throats. She bit her lower lip, feeling him so closed.

Her lips were about to touch his when she felt a hard hit on her head making her head drop, clashing with Sanskaar's chin, making them both moan in pain.

"ahhh"

"ouch"

The episode ends with RagSan lying on the ground.
