Ruhana was sitting on the couch, she looked at the time, it showed 5pm, she thought to herself... "kaha reh gayi hai ye dono! ab tak to ghar aa jana chahiye tha!"

Just then the doorbell rings and a smile appeared on her face thinking it must be Manvi and Anvi at the door. She gets up and moves to the door, she then unlocks the door and opens it. The smile from her face vanishes when she sees society secretary Mrs. Nilima at the door.

Ruhana asked her "Mrs. Nilima is everything fine??"

Nilima enters inside and speaks up "Ruhana tum single mother ho aur main tumhari izzat bhi karti hoon but kuch izzatdar families complaint karti hai ki inn sabka unke bacho pe asar padega" 

Ruhana eyed her and her words pinched her heart like a needle. How can she see her family is not respected, she confronts her in anger "Nilima ji I am staying here with my family since 8 years and you know us very well. We are decent people. haan manti hoon, mera ateet bura tha lekin wo meri ek galti thi aur uske liye meri behen ya beti pe ilzam nhi laga sakta koi!" 

Nilima speaks up "ye sab tumhe paap karne se pehle sochna chahiye tha Ruhana, society members chahte hai ki tum ya tumhari family se koi bhi yahan na rahe" 

Ruhana was shocked to hear this. How could they take this decision. Just then Manvi and Anvi walks into the flat and Manvi questions her "which society are you talking about?"

Nilima and Ruhana looked at her, Manvi eyed Anvi and orders her "Anvi please go to your room and play. "

Anvi agrees and goes to her room. Manvi then moves to Nilima and looks at her. She keeps a question in front of her "alright, tell me a solid reason why we should not live in this society?"

Nilima was silent but then speaks "Ruhana, samjha do apni  behen ko kitni badtameezi se baat kar rahi hai mujhse!"

Manvi looks at her and crosses her arms "Mrs Nilima mujhe jawab dijiye"

Nilima eyed her angrily and spoke up "hum apne bacho pe koi bura influence nhi chahte hai, that is the matter! "

Manvi smiles a bit and asked her "really? Bad influence!! are we murderers? Drugs suppliers? Or kidnappers??"

Nilima nods negatively. She had nothing to say. Manvi then continues speaking "aur jahan tak mujhe pata hai, indian government ne aisa koi rule nhi banaya hai jo state karta ho single mothers are not allowed to stay in any respected society! chalo chodo! ye batao aapne kabhi dekha kisi ladke ko hamare ghar aate hue jo aapsabke bacho pe asar dale? ya mujhe dekha ho awara ki tarah ghumte hue kisike saath? nahi na?? to chup chap niklo mere ghar se" she pointed her finger towards the door showing her the way.

Nilima sighed and taunts her "Miss Manvi bahut hawa mein udh rahi ho tum! lekin mere shabd yaad rakhna tumhari kismat bhi tumhari behen jaisi hone wali hai tum bhi kuwari maa banogi dekh lena!" eyeing at Ruhana.

Manvi could not take it further and screams at her "get out!" and Nilima walks away.

Manvi then looks at Ruhana who was sitting on sofa with teary eyes. She knew Ruhana was hurt with Nilima's words. Manvi went to her and caressed her head to make her feel comfortable "Di, please aap usski baaton pe dhyan mat do, aap to ache se janti ho logo ka kaam hai ladkiyon pe ungli uthana, aur aapko to garv hona chahiye khudpe aapne sabki baatein andekha karke Anvi ko sambhala aur mujhe bhi" 

Ruhana looks at her and agrees but still there was some kind of fear in her heart, she then speaks up "yes Manvi!! lekin darr jati hoon tera sochke. kahi meri kismat teri kismat na ban jaye? wahi sangharsh taane! teri kismat ban gaye toh?"

Manvi held her hand and wipes of her tears with another saying "nadi di, aisa kuch mere saath nhi hoga! jabtak aap aur Anvi meri life mein ho mujhe kisi aurki kya zaroorat?" she said as she kept her head in her lap.

Ruhana caressed her head thinking her sister is grown up now and became more matured, she says "hmm, but today I am really shocked listening to your speech."

Manvi smiles a bit and says teasingly "afterall.. aapse hi seekha hai maine"

Ruhana laughs at this comment of her. Anvi walks out of the room listening to their laughter and pouts "not fair, aap dono Anvi ko bhool gaye!"

Ruhana smiles and forwards her hand, Anvi runs to her and Manvi hugging both.

The next day, Ruhana was making Anvi ready for the school. Manvi came out of her room with her purse.

Ruhana says "Manvi, please prepare sandwich for yourself, till then I will make Anvi ready"

Manvi looked at her shockingly "Di, please how can you say me to work in kitchen it will be a mess I am telling you!"

Ruhana sighed and asked her "Miss Manvi Khanna, you are 21 aur kuch teen chaar saalo mein tumhari shaadi hogi! to tumhara husband ka khayega agar tu kitchen mein kadam hi nhi rakhegi?"

Anvi giggled hearing Ruhana, Manvi eyes Anvi and says "Anvi, tell your mother, that I am not going to get married and not leaving this house ever. So forever aap mujhe apne haatho ka bana hua tasty khana khilane wale ho"

Ruhana speaks up "alright, we will see but atleast put Anvi's lunchbox inside her bag. "

Manvi smiles "yes, I can do that. " Manvi picks up Anvi's lunchbox and inserts it inside her school bag. Ruhana than takes Anvi's bag and goes down to drop her inside the van.

Manvi looks at time it shows 9am, she also moves out of the house. She pressed the button of the lift, within a minute the life stopped and opens Ruhana was inside who said "Manvi, have breakfast first"

Manvi nodes in no and replies "Di, I am really getting late, bye" she gets into the lift and leaves.

Ruhana sighed "ye ladki bhi na! humesha jaldi mein rehti hai"

Manvi comes out of the life and sees watchman "Good morning shyamji"

Shyam smiles and replies "Good morning mam"

Manvi stamps her foot and replies in anger "aap mere pita ke umar ke ho to aap mujhe mam kaise bula sakte ho? please aap mujhe mere itne sundar naam se bulayie Manvi" she smiled

Shyam smiles and nods, Manvi goes taking the auto.

9:30 am, Manvi reached her office and settles on her desk. She opens up pending file and starts doing her work effectively.

Suddenly, she heard a voice she got up from her desk to see what is the matter. She then saw one of her colleague was getting insulted by her boss who stated "Neha, tum mere office mein kaam nhi kar sakti ho! kyuki tum ek single mother ho wo bhi kuwari, this will get a bad reputation for my company here is your termination letter" he hands her the letter.

Neha requests him "sir please don't do this"

But the boss was determined in his decision and spoke up "no means no please get out"

Manvi gets scared as she had hide from her boss the truth about her sister and Neha knew the truth about her. Her fear turned into reality when Neha pointing finger towards her saying "sir, this is wrong why is Manvi working here then? She is also sister of unmarried mother!"

A spark of fear passed down Manvi's vein, when everyone stared at her shockingly. The boss took his steps towards her and questions "Manvi, is this true?"

Manvi stands with head down and answers him with anger "yes sir, but wo ghatiya insan ki galti hai jisne meri behen ko dhoka diya aur chodke chala gaya apna matlab nikal kar!"
