Code breaker?

Hi guys I finished another chapter so thought I would post it now! you probably wont get one tomorrow (well actually I think it's today now!)I'm working all day, but if I feel up to it when I get back you might be lucky! I have it written just not edited it yet!

Please bear in mind that I edited this at midnight ( I am shattered) please please tell me if some thing doesn't work!

Gabriel POV: (From the meeting)

Why the f**k did Luke stop me from mentioning the fact that people don't seem to think his ADHD is important anymore. I hate the fact that people, mentioning no names, *Kayli* cough, cough can't accept it. It's part of what makes that idiot who he is, so they have to f*****g accept it. I can't actually believe that North was the one to tell Luke to stop tapping. I saw the look in Luke's eyes, the barely supressed tears, for f***'s sake, how f*****g blind is the f****r!

I've never seen Luke cry, well that's not true, he last cried when we were twelve, when his dam brother wouldn't say a word that wasn't in f*****g Greek. No-one, except me, knew about it back then and as far as I know that's still the case. He doesn't even know that I know. But I saw tears rolling down his face out the back of Uncle's dinner. I have never felt more like hitting someone than in that moment. My best friend was hurting, and I could do nothing about it. It made me feel like a s**t friend. In the end I was the one who went to North and slapped him. Then I yelled at him, no one had told him about Luke's ADHD, nor how compulsive that made him, apparently, they didn't think it was important (f*****s)! Luke doesn't know about that either. North talked to Luke a day later, admittedly it was to yell at him for eating sugar for lunch, but it was words, in English. Luke was so shocked he dropped his chocolate pancake, the aforementioned lunch, and Luke does not drop those f*****g things easily, they are like, his holy grail!

Since then, North has been as good as me at watching for Luke doing something impulsive, if not better. With Luke's depression setting in around sixteen, the ADHD become more of a problem North was there every time his impulsive nature caused him to head towards more and more dangerous situations. When Luke took a mission that would have been almost certain death a few years ago North literally tied him down in their trailer and refused to let him go until there it was no time to possibly go anywhere. We lost a load of favours, but it dragged Luke out of his depression, at least for a while...so it was well f*****g worth it!

Which makes North's behaviour earlier even f*****g stranger. His the one who defends Luke along with me when the other get on to him about his hyper activeness. He gets f*****g annoyed with Luke for eating a chocolate bar but then defends his big brother if Nathen or some other m***********r scowls or complains at the fact that Luke is tapping again.

Every other time something like this has happened we always bring it up in a meeting and it gets sorted. But he shook his head, I glanced at him to see if he was going to tell them about North and his eyes said leave it man, when I went to open mouth anyway, his eyes narrowed and I quickly changed it to nothing to report, confused out of my mind.

After the meeting I tried to corner him, but he obviously had somewhere he wanted to be, when I went to follow him Mr. B told me in that cold voice of his that I needed to stay and discuss the new mission with Corey and Marc, of course he uses their surnames. I wanted to yell that family bloody well comes first, which is one of the god's be dammed rules, but Luke has to tell him the issue first, I get the feeling it's more than I think.

"Gabriel!"

"What f****r?" I snap, Corey flinches back, "Oops sorry man, I was just thinking..." my voice trails off, Corey is a tech guy! I can use that!

"It's okay, I guess, I wanted you to know that Marc's planted the bugs and...." I interrupt him, already bored by this dam mission, they really don't need me here.

"Can you track Luke?" I ask. He gives me a confused look, then glances at my hair, oops I probably look like s**t, I tend to run my hand though my hair when I'm thinking hard. "Can you?" I ask again, knowing that I'm not being overly polite. He frowns but nods.

"But I'm really not going to, that would be a huge invasion of his privacy!" the blond turns his head back to the screen, "Marc, I'm getting all the signals though loud and clear, you can go back to the counter!" he says into the coms.

"I think somethings going on, Luke's been really f..." I start to swear but remember that this is the Henshaw that hates swearing, that's confirmed by the warning look he sends me, this time I might actually listen, for the moment, considering I want his help! "Luke's been acting really weird, well actually North has, but Luke seems to be the one it's affecting, and I hate that I can't help him!"

Rather than looking confused this time he gives me a considering look, almost as if he knows what going on. I narrow my eyes at him, and go to open my mouth again to demand answers, when he drags another computer towards him and types something in. He then shoves it at me and goes back to monitoring the new camera feeds. I look at the computer his just pushed at me, yeah, I have no f*****g clue what to do with this! I voice the sentiments to the tech genius, who rolls his eyes and points to the little light blue dot and explains it's Luke's phone, before pointing to the pink dot near it. He blushes slightly as he explains that it's North's Jeep, I can't help but snort at that, who knew Corey Henshaw had a sense of humour, one that could get him killed if North ever found out. He rolls his eyes me again, I send him a scowl back and try to work out where the dots have stopped and why.

"Is that Erica's house?" I ask out loud, Corey lets out a sigh and with exaggerated moments shows me how to zoom in on the house. Smartass. He smirks at me like he can see my thoughts then asks if I need any other help working google maps. He laughs at my North worthy scowl and is still laughing a few seconds later when Marc calls to check in. Which leads to him telling Marc the story, I do not think it deserves retelling, but the f****r seems to find it just as funny as the blond m*********r in the room with me. I know my scowl increases, before I get how stupid I was being, it was literally google maps! I can feel my ears turning pink as both older boys go back to the mission, Marc still chortling.

Knowing what I'm operating really helps and it doesn't take long to work out that Luke is at Erica's at the moment. Unfortunately, I can't find anything else out without more help from the smug b******d across from me. When I finally break and ask him is there is a way to work out who else is there he smirks and pulls the computer back toward him. I watch him type for a few seconds, then the colour drains from his face.

"Corey man? What's going on?" I ask as he start to type harder. He sits back pushing his hair out of his face. And I start to get more annoyed when he still doesn't f*****g answer me. "Is something wrong? You f****r you have to tell me!" his still sitting shocked when I throw water over his head.

"What the heck Gabriel?" he lets out a scowl looking very like his twin.

"You wouldn't f*****g talk to me!" I almost yell at him. He makes an oh face but still doesn't tell me what the f**k he found, "So...?" I prompt.

"Nothing's wrong!" he has the nerve to say as he goes back to hacking on the computer still showing Erica's house. He even lets out a small smile a moment later. But from what I can see I looks as though he can't get though a barrier of some kind. I might know nothing about coding, but I can recognise when the symbols on the screen are basically looping round and round.

"Then why exactly are you not though whatever thingy magjig that is!" I gesture at the stupid laptop.

"Because, whoever else is in that house right now, has a hell of a good firewall, and I can't crack it!"

"Is it me or did I just here the mighty Henshaw say that someone had just bested his hacking ability?" Marc's faux shocked voice comes though the other laptops speaker.

"Nope you ain't f*****g hearing things! He has been slain and looks as though someone has killed a puppy in front of him," I quickly amend that to, "A puppy he really loved that Raven had given him and told him it was his heart!" the absurdity of my statement finally bringing him back to here and now.

"What the heck Gabriel?" he repeats, and I smirk at him.

"Nice to have you back!" I exclaim, Marc is busy cracking up in the background, mission totally forgotten for a moment. "There must be something you can do!" I say, desperate to know that Luke's at least safe. He looks contemplative for a few minutes then it's as though a light blub goes off in his head. He starts muttering, maybe, maybe then typing furiously. This continues for several minutes before he starts full on laughing.

"Marc!" I hiss when shacking Corey's shoulder does nothing, "Marc I think his gone into some kind of shock!" When Corey just continues to laugh, and Marc doesn't say anything to alleviate my fears I sit back and scowl. Waiting. When Corey still seems unable to speck and he sees how angry I'm getting he pushes the computer at me. The words,

Hiya, Corey! (As you're the only person who would think to go in by this route),

Hope you like the additions I made to your game, I promise that the producers are going to love it!

This isn't live or particularly well monitored so don't try and type back (just saying)

I have no idea why in particular you will have tried to hack this network, this time, but here we are!

I'm going to guess there are probably three options as to why you're attempting to hack me right now:

One, one of your brothers in near by and in danger and you want to know what the hell I'm doing near them,

Two you hacking skills are even more impressive than I thought, and you managed to break the program on your laptop (no offence but I seriously doubt it),

Or three Erica has finally made good on her very unsubtle hints that she wants to set me up with your friend Lucien Taylor and Gabriel Coleman is bugging you because his bored on a mission.

Am I right? (P.s. if it's option three Gabriel owes me a favour as well as you for interrupting my privacy)!

Love V

I stare is shock, before looking suspiciously at Corey, with his recent development in humour this seems very like a trick. He reads this in my gaze, him having finally stopped laughing so much and shakes his head. I narrow my eyes and he meets my eyes full on, then I know his serious. When I see that he doesn't seem worried by this disturbing development, I start to worry for his sanity.

"What the f**k is going on?" I yell at Corey who's still staring at the screen and now typing more code in. "Should we call Mr. B or Axel?" I ask slightly worried that someone could possibly know that much about us.

"I think we should allow Luke to enjoy his date!" Corey says and I give him an utterly incredulous look, WTF, I go to say just this and race out of the room when he shoes me another screen. For a second I don't understand what I'm looking at, then I see the names attached to each message, apparently, they are texts taken off Luke's phone. It shows a message series from last night, between him and Kota's mum. I know why Luke laughed last night now at least. His dream? What the heck was Erica going on about.

"Can you get into Erica's cameras?" I ask hoping the answers yes, he nods warily, "Great, pull them up!" I look eagerly at the screen as he types super slowly into the keyboard.

The feeds pop up, an image of Erica's bedroom and three figures coated in paint, all bloody laughing. I can tell from body type that one of the figures is Luke and another is probably Jess, I haven't seen her recently enough to be certain. But the last one is an entirely unknown figure. Definitely a girl. Hair colour obscured by paint and clothes soaked, like the other two, but I can see they are way too baggy for her form, however the paint is showing her body to have some stunning curves. All I can think for a moment is how much I would love to dress her. As much as I enjoy shopping, I think Kayli is actually putting me off, she doesn't listen to the fact that I really do know what the heck I'm talking about. Some of the colours she's put herself in. OMG I just f*****g can't stand it. She literally uses me for sizes, dragging Victor along to pay for her exaggerated purchases!

"That f****r has a bloody date while I'm f*****g sitting here on my dam ass as he has a f*****g fantastic time. This is f*****g s**t!" I rant angrily.

"Guys as fascinating as this is, I really could use some help right now!" Marc's voice comes though the speakers again. This time sounding slightly panicked, Corey snaps the screen shut and quickly looks back at the other screen.

"DAM! Gabe get in there!" he barks I glace at the screen.

"What the f**k am I supposed to do?" I mutter as I leave, this is not going to be fun!

Hope you liked Gabe's POV, his one of my favorite (not the favorite obviously) so I hope I did him justice!

See you soon!
