Mitsuri's eyes fluttered open and adjusted to the sunlight. It was morning already.

The sunlight flooded into her room. A cool breeze blew, carrying cherry blossom petals into her room through her open window.

"It's morning..."
She yawned.

She stretched her arms, slowly getting up. She combed her 'mochi like' hair and tied it into three braids.

"Sigh... Good morning to me, a new day!"
She exclaimed, staring at her reflection.

"A MEETING! A MEETING! YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED TO A MEETING, NOW!"
Mitsuri's Kasugai Crow cawed.

"Huh? A meeting this early in the morning? Well, can't miss it then!"
Mitsuri said.

"Wait, everyone will be there! That means..."
Mitsuri jumped out of happiness and hummed as she walked out of her Estate.

She ran to the headquarters.

"Now, I must hurry! Otherwise, I'll end up getting late."

Everyone was there already and she realised she was the last one to reach.

"GOOD MORNING, KANROJI!"
Wished Kyojuro.

RENGOKU-SAN!!!"
Mitsuri wished him back.

"Oyakata-sama hasn't arrived yet..."
Iguro said quietly.

"Ara Ara~ you're right, he usually isn't this late."
Shinobu replied.

"What was the shape of that cloud again...?"
Muichiro said, staring into the blue sky.

Giyuu was quiet, Gyomei, Tengen and Sanemi were too.

"Oyakata-sama is arriving."
The daughters walked in, with the master.

Oyakata-sama cleared his throat as he stepped in with a gentle smile on his face.

All bowed before him.

"Good morning to all of you, I'm very glad that you all are safe and happy. So, Kanroji Mitsuri, Tomioka Giyuu and Shinazugawa Sanemi went on a mission recently. They decapitated a lot of demons there. I know you all are aware of that..."
He said calmly.

"So, all I ask from you all is to give your best. Is that clear?"

They all said together.

Giyuu said silently.

Everyone got up. Slowly, ready to leave.

Gyomei left, followed by Muichiro.
The others waited and chatted for a bit. Mitsuri kept talking with Shinobu. Obanai looked a bit angry. Kyojuro was talking with Tengen.

Sanemi got ready to leave.

He glanced at Giyuu and Giyuu looked at him.

Sanemi winked, to which, Giyuu blushed and nodded.

Sanemi then walked away, to his Estate.
Giyuu quietly followed him.

Mitsuri noticed the two young men.

KYAAA! THIS IS THE TIME, EVERYONE SHALL KNOW NOW!!!
The pool of thoughts made her squeal.

Sanemi and Giyuu walked together, far away from the others.

"Sigh... It's so calm when it's just the two of us, Giyuu."
Sanemi said.

"Hmm..."
Giyuu replied.

They walked silently, listening to their own footsteps, the cool breeze that blew and the bamboos creating musical sounds by hitting each other all the way.

Tengen said and waved at them.

"SURE THING, BUDDY!"
Kyojuro waved back.

"Ara Ara~ See you all later then!"
Shinobu said in a calm tone.

"I shall leave too, then."

As everyone else was about to leave, Mitsuri shouted out.

"EVERYONE, WAIT!"

Everyone else turned back.

Both Tengen and Kyojuro asked together.

"What is it, Mitsuri-San?"
Asked Iguro.

Mitsuri took a deep breath.

She shouted.

"IGURO-SAN! YOU WANTED PROOF, RIGHT? WELL, I DO HAVE PROOF TODAY."

"Are you serious, we are talking about this right now, Mitsuri-San?"
Iguro asked in disbelief.

Replied Mitsuri.

Asked Shinobu.

Mitsuri said.

She walked up to Iguro and held his hand.

Asked Iguro.

Mitsuri turned to look at Shinobu, Tengen and Rengoku.

"Follow me!"
She said.

They nodded and did as she said.

"Let's go!"
She said and ran, dragging Iguro with her.

"Why are you running though, Mitsuri-San?"
Asked Shinobu.

"To catch up with them!"
She said.

"I still don't know what's going on but, I am excited. This seems flashy!"
Tengen said, smiling widely.

The five ran, in order to find Sanemi and Giyuu.

"It feels really calm and nice, doesn't it?"
Asked Giyuu.

"Yes, and your voice is so soothing to hear! It's like music to my ears."
Sanemi said.

Giyuu blushed slightly.

"Shinazugawa-San!"
He chuckled softly.

I want to be with you always, Giyuu. Should I really ask you this question? I think I should wait for a better time to ask that...

Sanemi was lost in his thoughts.

"Shinazu- Sanemi, you know? After this mission, I felt so tired. Talking to you makes me feel so much better."
Giyuu said as he looked at his feet, a soft blush spread across his face.

Replied Sanemi.

Sanemi slowly held Giyuu's hand, to which, Giyuu blushed softly but didn't say anything. He chose to be quiet instead. They squeezed each other's hands.

The two continued walking, hand in hand. Both didn't have any idea that the Hashiras would soon know about all this.

"There they are!"
Mitsuri exclaimed as she stopped.

Shinobu, Tengen and Kyojuro stopped immediately behind her too.

They followed them quietly, peeking and hiding from tree to tree.

This feels so bad.... No, I-I must control myself, for god's sake!
Shinobu thought to herself.

"They're holding hands!?"
Tengen exclaimed.

"No way..."
Iguro said quietly.

"Told you!"
Mitsuri squealed.

"Ara Ara~"
Shinobu kept looking at the two. The two hands holding each other... It felt like her heart crushed.

"THEY ARE CUTE TOGETHER!"
Rengoku said in his normal tone, which was pretty loud.

Mitsuri gasped and shushed him.

"SHHHHH! Rengoku-San, be silent!"
She whispered.

The two stop near the Wind Estate.

"We're finally here!"
Sanemi said with a sigh.

"Yeah..."
Giyuu replied.

They both went inside and closed the door.

"I wanted to see more! They closed the door, will they do something flamboyant in there?"
Asked Tengen with a proud smirk.

"We shouldn't be talking about that.... Nevermind."
Said Iguro.

Tengen ran towards Sanemi's door, without a sound.

"Damn! Why did no one tell me about this already? Why am I supposed to know about all this now?

I still do not believe this... Shinazugawa, he really turned soft, didn't he?
Iguro thought.

"I didn't get to spend enough time with you during that stupid mission, Giyuu. But now, we're all alone, finally!"
Sanemi told Giyuu.

Tengen whispered.

Shinobu, Iguro, Mitsuri and Kyojuro ran to the door.

They both hugged each other.

Outside the Estate, Tengen, Kyojuro, Iguro, Mitsuri and Shinobu were still listening to the conversation.

The five leaned onto the door to listen...

But the door opened up, the five falling on the ground with a thud.

Sanemi and Giyuu stared at them with shock, still hugging.

They got up from the ground.

Even though Iguro heard Sanemi and Giyuu talking, He wasn't used to looking at them hugging each other and it was his first time looking at them this way.

"W-What... No way, Shinazugawa. I did not expect this from you. You seriously got with Tomioka? You didn't find anybody else!?"
Iguro fainted and fell on the ground with a thud.

"IGURO-SAN!"
Mitsuri shouted with worry.

"Tomioka, Out of all, you found Shinazugawa!? Okay, let me be honest here. You're too good for Shinazugawa."
Said Tengen.

"BUT YOU TWO ARE VERY CUTE TOGETHER! I AM VERY HAPPY THAT YOU ARE HAPPY WITH EACHOTHER!"
Said Kyojuro.

"YEAH, I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THAT. YOU GUYS LOOK FLASHY TOGETHER!"
Said Tengen.

"Is nobody going to talk about
Iguro-San!? He literally fainted!"
Said Mitsuri.

Shinobu was silent. She felt her heart break. That little hope of Giyuu liking her back, vanished.

Tear drops fell from her eyes and she left, running away as she cried.

Giyuu and Sanemi let go of each other.

"Who told you this... Seriously? Who the fuck told you this!?"
Sanemi said.

"I can't look at you the same way, Shinazugawa!"
Said Tengen.

"ANSWER THE DANG QUESTION!"
Snapped Sanemi.

"Well Kanroji did!"
Said Tengen.

"Kanroji..."
He turned to look at Mitsuri.

"Who told you this, Kanroji!?"
Asked Sanemi.

"It was obvious, don't you think?"
Said Mitsuri.

"You are done for, you all are! I'm giving you time to run away."
Said Sanemi.

"Thanks, we'll need it!"
Mitsuri said as she ran out carrying Iguro in her hand and Kyojuro and Tengen following her.
