Giyuu and Sanemi stared, shocked by the fact that Shinobu was standing behind Douma.

What is Kocho doing here?
Giyuu thought.

"What is Kocho doing here?"
Sanemi asked.

"Ara Ara~ Shinazugawa-San, I'll explain later. You just wait!" Shinobu said, still smiling.

"Kocho..."
Giyuu looked at Shinobu, who wasn't looking at him.

"Oh my! I didn't even notice you were here, Tomioka-San! Talk more, this is why you have no frien-"

Douma speaks up, interrupting Shinobu.

"Oh my! What a beauty you are! Could you talk to me too, please?"

The one who killed my sister.....is in front of me. I will kill you, Douma.

Shinobu smiled at Douma and began-

"Why sure! But I prefer fighting more than talking..."

Douma smiled at her and said,
"I have no problem fighting with you, dear."

"Insect Breathing, Second Form: Dance of the Bee Sting."

Shinobu leapt into the air, she looked like a floating butterfly with her haori flowing in the air.

She pointed the tip of her sword at Douma, injecting poison in him.

"This should be fun!"
Douma closed his eyes, opening his fans and letting out a deep breath.

"Blood Demon Art..."

Balls made of ice flew towards Shinobu, none of them hit her.

Douma was deliberately easy on her, giving her chances.

"K-kocho! Let us out... We'll help you."
Sanemi struggled to get out.

"Just you wait, Shinazugawa-San."

Shinobu said as she pulled out her sword once again sinking the tip inside Douma's back.

Douma created icy bullets, leading them towards Shinobu. Shinobu moved fast but one hit her. As mentioned before, one was enough to kill a human... but Shinobu was different. Even though it did hit her, slowing her down, she managed to adjust her breathing style to survive.

"Hahaha! What's the matter, sweetheart?"

"You are going to regret calling me that..."
She smiled as she went towards Sanemi and Giyuu. Due to her weak physical abilities, she couldn't even move it. Douma grinned as he called her.

"Don't ignore me!"
He said.

Shinobu had a plan in her mind. Even if she wasn't physically strong, she was definitely very smart, complementing her physical abilities.

She walked up to Douma and said,

"If you free them, I'll be with you. You could have the fun, think about it."

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, KOCHO!?"
Sanemi shouted.

"Kocho, Have you lost your mind? Quit this!" Giyuu said with disbelief.

Shinobu looked back as she smiled at them. 'Trust me' is what her aura said.

Douma looked at her as he smirked.

He came closer to kiss Shinobu, but she pushed him away before he kissed her.

"Why, what's the problem?"

Douma asked, looking a little sad at being turned away.

"I will only let you do this if you free them first." Shinobu said calmly.

"Fair deal!"
Douma opened his fan, manipulating the ice to move away.

"They're free now!"
Douma grinned.

"Great!" Shinobu said.

Shinobu glanced at them as she winked.

They immediately knew what they had to do.

As Douma came closer to kiss Shinobu, she pushed him.

Douma looked at Shinobu and began-
"What's the problem now? Didn't you say-"

"I said nothing." Said Shinobu.

"But-"

"DIEEEEEE!!!"
Sanemi interrupted Douma, who was puzzled by what had just happened.

Douma turned back to see Sanemi running towards him.

"Wind Breathing, First Form: Dust Whirlwind Cutter!"

Sanemi leapt up and attacked Douma by stabbing his chest.
Douma's eyes lost their shine. He got the taste of utter betrayal.
His own voice echoed in his mind.

Demons should never believe slayers.

Falling for Shinobu's trap, Douma realised he made a grave mistake.

Sanemi pinned Douma to the ground by piercing his sword through his chest and fixing him onto the ground, not letting him move.

Shinobu injected him multiple times making him weaker and unable to move.

Douma got weaker.

He breathed heavily. Sanemi pulled out his sword from Douma's chest.

"This is your end! You piece of shit!"
Sanemi laughed.

"No... This, this isn't."
Douma breathed unevenly.

Shinobu injected Douma again. She was stunned by his high intolerance of Wisteria, for usually demons would pass out easily. He was an Uppermoon Demon, afterall. His pale skin turned purple and bruises started to form.

Shinobu and Sanemi turned to look at Giyuu, who was standing.

They both nodded as if to say-
'Decapitate him.'

Giyuu nodded back and ran, exhaling.

"Water Breathing, Fifth Form: Blessed Rain After The Drought..."

Giyuu jumped up and swiftly cut through Douma's neck which was a little hard. He tried his best to slice through.
He cut halfway through the neck, the other half remaining.

"I...I need a hand."
Giyuu said.

Sanemi nodded quickly as he tried hard to cut through the other half with his green Nichirin Blade.
Both Giyuu and Sanemi grunted, in order to cut through, which they did.

The green sword and the blue sword, met each other in the middle of the neck making 'cling' sound.

They decapitated Douma.

Douma's head fell off.
A little conciousness was still present in Douma.
He mumbled:

"I... Sh-should have never... Be-Belived you..."

He passed away.

The sun had come up and the golden light burned Douma's skin. A purple butterfly landed on top of Douma's nose, before his head burnt away, too.

A soft breeze blew moving Giyuu's dark hair.

The three Hashiras stared at the ground, where Douma was lying a second ago in silence.

Sanemi got up in a fearless way, sliding his sword in its place.

The wind moved his hair and he said,
"Let's go back, we did what we came here for..."

"We need to rest here for today." Said Shinobu.

Sanemi nodded.

Giyuu looked at Sanemi as he sighed with relief. He was scared he would lose someone he loved. The golden light shone over Sanemi's face and Giyuu stared at him with a straight face.

He felt like he saw,

A new ray of Sunshine.

Author's Note:

So, I know that Douma is very strong and smart to fall for Shinobu's trap but in this story, let's assume that he was not that smart. I definitely made it look like he is completely weak to be called Uppermoon 2! I did same for Akaza even though Akaza was very strong... Excuse me... I apologise for anything that I did wrong in this story. It's actually my first ever story so I try not to mess up...😅

Anyways, Word count: 1088 words... Woah!!!
