After having all his feelings cleared up in front of Giyuu, Sanemi felt his heart feel lighter. He smiled, pulling away from the warm hug the two shared.

"Want to continue walking, or do you want to do something else?"

"Let's continue walking-"
Giyuu paused abruptly as a rain drop fell on top of his nose. He looked up at the sky.

Following his gaze, Sanemi noticed the dark clouds forming above them. A low growl of thunder rumbled in the distance.

"Hm, I think it's about to rain... it's strange, the sky was clear a while ago... Let's go before we both get wet..."

Giyuu held his hand tightly.

"Let's go to my place, Giyuu."
Sanemi smiled reassuringly.

Giyuu nodded in response.
"Okay..."

Sanemi led Giyuu to his Estate, his pace quickening as he sensed the first drops of rain beginning to fall. Once inside, he quickly closed the door behind him, locking it.
"Ah, we made it just in time!"
He turned to face Giyuu.

"You're right..."
Giyuu smiled softly, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I... I'll be right back, just wait."
Sanemi walked to his room.

Giyuu nodded, looking around his place.
It was always so organised and clean.
He sat down near the empty place in the backyard.

Sanemi was drying his hair off with a towel, once back, he looked for Giyuu.

Where'd he go...?
He searched for him, his eyes softening when he spotted him sitting in the backyard.

"You scared me, I thought you left..."
He walked closer to Giyuu, sitting beside him.

Giyuu looked at him, his eyes filled with warmth.

"I feel a little cold..."
He said.

Sanemi looked at him, a small smirk appearing on his face as he pulled Giyuu closer, his body pressing against his.

"I'll keep you warm..."
He leaned in, his lips brushing against Giyuu's forehead in a gentle, reassuring kiss.

Giyuu chuckled, even though he was caught off guard at first. He blushed, relieved that he had someone like Sanemi by his side.

Sanemi noticed his reaction and chuckled, the sound deep and warm.

"You're always so cute when you're flustered..."
He pulled back slightly to look at Giyuu, his eyes shining with affection.

"Are your clothes dry?"
He asked, not noticing a single water drop on him.

Giyuu nodded.
"I guess I was fast enough to reach just in the right time..."

Sanemi nodded back, a small smile on his face.

"Good..."
He pulled Giyuu even closer, his arms wrapping around his waist. He rested his chin on his head.

"I like having you near me..."
He mumbled against Giyuu's dark hair.

"I like it too..."
Giyuu closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around Sanemi.

"You know, I found the note you had given me that day..."
He muttered softly.

Sanemi pulled away.
"Really? Do you have it with you?"

Giyuu nodded, pulling the paper out of his pocket. He handed it to Sanemi.

Sanemi's eyes widened as he read it, he almost felt as if someone hammered his head.

Fuck... How did I even forget that!?

"I... I think I remember this..."
He rubbed his neck nervously, hoping Giyuu won't be mad.

"You do?"
Giyuu asked, his eyes locked with Sanemi's.

Sanemi nodded, sighing out helplessly.
"I... I'm not the one who wrote it, I made a girl write it for me back when I was still in the mission.

Giyuu gasped softly.

"Th-Thank you..."
He blushed hard.

Sanemi chuckled at the sight of him blushing.
"You don't have to mention it..."

Giyuu looked deep into his eyes, a faint smile on his cheeks.

"The... The rain doesn't seem to stop..."
He said, trying to change the topic now.

Sanemi smiled back, his eyes shining, as he looked out at the rain.

"It's alright... As long as we stay together like this, nothing else matters..."
He tightened his hold around Giyuu, pressing him closer.

Giyuu's eyes widened, he burried his face against Sanemi's chest, as if embarrassed by his words.

Sanemi laughed softly, his warm breath tickling Giyuu's hair as he looked down at the top of his head.

"What's the matter, Giyuu? You look a little embarrassed right now..."

"I-Its nothing..."
Giyuu mumbled, his voice soft and tender.

Sanemi smiled, rubbing his cheek against the top of his head in a gentle, soothing motion.

"I think it's adorable..."
He leaned down, his lips brushing against Giyuu's ear as he whispered.

"...You're adorable when you're shy..."

"I'm not shy..."
Giyuu muttered, slowly pulling away from the hug.

Sanemi let go of Giyuu, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Then why are you blushing so much? If you're not shy, come here, let me see your face again."
He teased, his voice playful.

Giyuu's face fumed red as his eyes widened.

"I-It's just... that... uh..."
He sighed out as he ran out of words, surrendering quietly.

Sanemi chuckled, reaching out to gently lift Giyuu's chin with his fingers, making him look up at him.

"That what, Giyuu? Tell me..."
His warm breath caressed Giyuu's lips as he waited for his response.

"It's nothing..."
Giyuu mumbled, nuzzling against Sanemi's neck.

Sanemi smiled, his hand reaching out to ruffle Giyuu's hair.

The two stayed like that for hours, laughing and talking over little things, and remembering the days of the past.

The weather was very cool now.

"Giyuu, do you feel good here...?"
Sanemi asked, squeezing Giyuu's hand gently.

"Of course I do..."
Giyuu paused, leaning closer to him.

"It's just..."
He stopped abruptly.

Sanemi looked at him, noticing his hesitation.

"What's wrong?"
He tilted his head slightly.

"Did I say something wrong?"
He moved a few strands of hair away from Giyuu's face.

"N-No... it's not that... I..."
Giyuu snuggled up closer to Sanemi, his breathing shaky, as if he was shivering.

Sanemi wrapped his arms more tightly around Giyuu, pulling him into a gentle hold.
"Ah, Giyuu..."

His voice was soft and soothing.
"You're trembling. What's wrong?"
He stroked his hair, trying to calm him down.

Giyuu looked up at him, smiling before he burried his face in Sanemi's chest.

"...D-Don't you think the weather's a little too cold now...?"

Sanemi chuckled and leaned in to press his body against Giyuu's, sharing his warmth.

"You're right, it's a bit chilly..."
He rubbed his back soothingly.

"Here, let me warm you up..."

"Th-Thank you, Sanemi..."
Giyuu cuddled him, closing his eyes slowly, his slow and soft breaths hitting Sanemi's chest.

Sanemi hummed, enjoying the feeling of Giyuu in his arms.

"You're so soft, Giyuu..."
He whispered, his voice low and gentle.

"I like it when you're like this..."
He nuzzled Giyuu's head, his breath fanning his skin.

"Hmm...."
Giyuu made himself comfortable, almost falling asleep.

As he felt Giyuu getting more comfortable in his arms, Sanemi chuckled softly.

"Hmm..."
He hummed.

"Sleep, Giyuu."
He soothed as he gently stroked his hair. "I've got you..."
He muttered softly.

"I... I..."
Giyuu moved a little before finally resting in a different position.

"I love you, Sanemi..."
He mumbled in his sleep, before he completely dozed off.

Sanemi smiled, his eyes softening as he gazed at Giyuu's peaceful face.

"I love you too, Giyuu..."
He whispered, his voice filled with affection.

"Forever and always..."
He gently kissed the top of Giyuu's head, holding him close as he slept. He hummed softly as he stroked Giyuu's hair.

After sleeping for almost an hour, Giyuu moved a little, whimpering softly.

Noticing the slight movement, Sanemi immediately tightened his hold around Giyuu, pulling him closer.

"Shh, Giyuu..."
He soothed, his voice calm and gentle. "You're safe... I'm here..."
He continued to stroke his hair, trying to comfort him.

"S-Sanemi..."
Giyuu fluttered his eyes open, looking up at him, his pupils dilated.

Sanemi looked at him, a soft smile playing on his lips.
"You woke up... Did you sleep well?"

Giyuu nodded in response.
"Mhm..."

"Good."
Sanemi kissed his cheek softly, pulling away as he looked at Giyuu with a faint smirk playing on his lips.

"You know, you're really cute when you sleep, Giyuu..."

"H-Huh...?"
Giyuu swallowed hard, looking down quietly.

"Th-Thank you..."

Sanemi chuckled softly, lifting Giyuu's chin up to look at him.
"No need to be shy about it. I mean it, you're really cute."

He looked outside, the rain had seemed to stop now.
