It was the next day.

As sunlight streamed in through his window, it illuminated Sanemi's still sleeping form. He stirred groggily, blinking his eyes open before letting out a yawn as he climbed out of bed.

"Guess it's time to get moving again..."

Sanemi splashed some water on his face, washing off the sleepy feeling.

He drank some tea, stretching his arms as he made his way to the Ubuyashiki Mansion.

Giyuu tossed around in bed before finally waking up. His eyes adjusted to the brightness as the sunlight filled the room, entering through the window.

He washed his face, staring into his own reflection in the bucket of water.

He gasped softly, a small blush creeping up on his cheeks.

"Shinazugawa-San..."
He muttered under his breath.

He shook his head, sighing out helplessly.

It was a beautiful sunny day, Giyuu made his way to the Mansion, where Kagaya usually sits, but he wasn't there yet.
Almost everyone was there already. Giyuu tried to look for Sanemi, but he wasn't there. His eyes still kept searching for him.

"Good morning, Tomioka-San!"
Shinobu wished, smiling sweetly.

"..."

"Ignoring people isn't good, Tomioka-San..."
She looked up at Giyuu, whose cheeks wore the light shade of red.

Is Tomioka-San... blushing?
Shinobu could hardly believe her eyes.

Giyuu stared into what seemed like blank space. Shinobu followed his gaze, her eyes slowly shifting to Sanemi, who was laughing and talking with Obanai.

Shinazugawa-San?
She wondered curiously.

"So, how did your mission with Tomioka go?"
Obanai asked.

"Actually, it went pretty good. He's actually not so annoying and didn't bother me much..."
Sanemi replied.

"I see..."
Obanai said, a hint of jealousy in his voice.

"To be honest, the demon we encountered there, was seriously the ugliest fucking demon I ever saw..."
Sanemi said.

"Couldn't be uglier than you..."
Obanai replied.

"The heck did you just say!?"

"I was just joking."
Obanai replied.

"Yeah whatever, by the way, where is Tomioka? Is he here yet?"
Sanemi asked, almost sounding impatient.

"I don't know..."

Sanemi's eyes travelled everywhere, trying to look for Giyuu in the middle of the other Hashiras. He saw him soon enough, only to find that Giyuu was already looking at him.

Sanemi blushed all of a sudden, smiling at Giyuu. Giyuu smiled back.

Shinobu and Obanai stared, their jaw dropping.

"What the hell, Shinazugawa? Did you switch up that fast?"
Obanai sounded a bit irritated.

"What happened in that mission, Tomioka-San? You need to tell me!"
Shinobu asked, her genuine curiosity getting the best of her.

"We just talked a little... Tomioka seems nice, I swear!"
Sanemi insisted.

"Shinazugawa-San talked to me nicely."
Giyuu said.

That's when Mitsuri ran in.

I'm late!? So embarassing!!!
Mitsuri looked at all the Hashira, who stared at her.

"G-Good morning, everyone!"
She wished, blushing softly.

"GOOD MORNING THERE, KANROJI!"
Kyojuro smiled wide.

"Good morning, Kanroji-San!"
Shinobu wished, blushing slightly.

"I'll talk later."
Obanai walked towards Mitsuri.

"There he goes..."
Sanemi sighed.

"Good morning..."
Obanai wished.

"Kyaa!!! Good morning, Iguro-San!"
She blushed.

A few minutes pass by.

"Oyakata-Sama is arriving..."

The Hashiras, now alarmed, bow down.

"Good morning, all of you. I'm glad you all are present here..."
Kagaya smiled.

"I hope you are doing well, Oyakata-Sama..."
Sanemi said, his eyes shifting to his Master.

"Thank you, Sanemi..."
Kagaya smiled sweetly.

"This meeting is held for an important discussion..."

The Hashiras looked at Kagaya, puzzled.

Kagaya paused for a few seconds.

"The Demon sightings have been decreasing drastically... You all must be aware of that..."
Kagaya took a deep breath in.

"Excluding Sanemi and Giyuu, most of you didn't have a mission since the past few days, am I right?"
He asked, the others agreeing.

"It would be nice if you could take a break. I know all of you work way too hard. There should be some time for you to enjoy yourselves."
Kagaya said, his voice as gentle as a breeze.

"What exactly do you mean by a break?"
Gyomei asked.

"Take good care of yourselves, spend more time with others, relax yourself down. This will help you to gain more energy for any future fights."
Kagaya said.

Kyaaa!!! Oyakata-Sama is soo nice!!! I've always wanted a nice little break for myself!!!
Mitsuri squealed internally.

"But do not forget to keep practicing... A break doesn't mean getting completely lazy."
Kagaya added.

"So, we keep practicing, but also try to relax ourselves...?"
Muichiro looked at Kagaya.

Kagaya nodded.

"I hope you will be happy with this decision, as long as you all are happy, I am too."
Kagaya smiled ever so sweetly.

"Thank-you for being so generous towards us..."
Gyomei replied, tears rolling down.

"How long is it going to last?"
Sanemi asked.

"Until Demon sightings are common again."
Kagaya replied.

"This really means a lot, Thank you very much, Oyakata-Sama..."
Shinobu smiled.

"Yes! Thank you!!!"
Mitsuri squealed happily.

Kagaya chuckled softly.

"Take care of yourselves, Hashiras."
He smiled.

"Also, Sanemi and Giyuu?"

"Yes Master?"

Giyuu and Sanemi watched as Kagaya began,

"I'm proud of you two..."

"F-For what?"
Sanemi asked, puzzled.

Kagaya chuckled.

"You two seem to get along well. It makes me very happy."
He said.

Sanemi's eyes widened, slowly shifting to Giyuu, who was looking at the ground quietly.

"Thank you, Master..."
They said.

Kyaaa!!! They're friends, that's soo nice!!!
No more fights!!!
Mitsuri thought.

Tomioka-San is definitely hiding something...
Shinobu thought.

I fucking hate Shinazugawa right now...
Obanai looked at Sanemi.

"The meeting is dismissed."

Tengen walked up to Sanemi, ruffling his hair.

"Oi! What are you doing!?"
Sanemi snapped.

"Chill out! It's me, haha!"
He leaned to Sanemi's ear.

"You switched up way too fast, huh?"

"Shut up, we just talked, it's nothing more!"
Sanemi rolled his eyes.

"Shinazugawa... Why?"
Obanai walked towards him.

Sanemi sighed.
"He's really not bad..."

"If you say so... I forgive you."
Obanai pointed his finger out.

Sanemi sighed.
"Thanks."

"WHAT'S GOING ON GUYS?"
Kyojuro wrapped his arm around Sanemi's shoulder.

So loud... Why doesn't he keep it low...
Sanemi thought.

"Shinazugawa-San smiled at you and played with your hair?"
Shinobu gasped softly.

Giyuu nodded in response.

"I'm in a heavy doubt, wasn't he.... Hating on you a few days ago?"
She questioned.

"I don't mind... I have forgiven him. He's kind."
Giyuu replied.

"HI GUYS!"
Mitsuri walked over to the two.

"Hi, Kanroji-San!"
Shinobu wished, smiling.

Kyaa!! Kocho-San is so cute!
Mitsuri smiled back.

"SHINAZUGAWA-SAN PLAYED WITH YOUR HAIR!?"
Mitsuri exclaimed.

"This is the cutest thing ever!!!"
She squealed.

"But don't you think it's strange...?"
Shinobu questioned.

"Who cares? At least they're not fighting anymore!"
Mitsuri squealed happily.

So much energy... Why can't she keep a little quiet...
Giyuu thought.
