Greetings, Historians!

On the Day Five of our September Edition of the Sands of Time, today we have got you some story prompts. Let any of these prompts give you the creative boost you need to build a new and inventive plot for your next Time Travel story.

1. An archeologist is studying the Pyramids of Giza. During an on-site visit, he gets trapped in a chamber. He helplessly tries to communicate with his fellow colleagues but could not reach them. Anxious, he analyzes his surroundings only to realize he has reached ancient Egypt.

2. A group of friends visit a palace in India. One of them feels strangely attracted to an old armor in the museum. At night, he dreams of himself wearing the armor and getting ready for the war. Paranoid, he wakes up only to find himself in an opulent room of an ancient palace. Beside him, laid a beautiful woman, dressed traditionally, and sleeping peacefully.

3. An actress is working in a period drama. In a sequence, she is supposed to film the death of her character by jumping off a cliff. During the jump, she enters a time–slip and ends up in a rural village of the same time period, her drama was set in.

4. Amy is the first subject of the Time Travel Project. She is sent to 1914 to gather information about the First World War without changing the course of history. In 1914, she fell in love with a young Army Officer. Amy is torn between her love and her duties as a time-traveler.

5. A young student is researching the Ottoman Empire. She is engrossed reading an old journal written by Grand Vizier inside an old library, when lights flicker and she finds herself trapped in an opulent palace room...
