I'll try to make this a cute story.

Sandie, Nettle, Acacia, and Scorpion all stayed friends through out their childhood.

But when they were 10 in human years (maybe the equivalent of four in dragon years, I might be wrong I don't know the exact convertion!), Scorpion figured out what his feelings where toward Sandie, he realized it was love!!!!

It was the end of the week. After class, it also went down, the heat of the sun felt good on all the Sand Wing students backs. Sandie was talking to Nettle and Acacia, and was inviting them over for a playdate on the weekend.

"So will you guys come? My parents said it would be okay if I invite friends," Sandie said.

"Of course, I'll go ask my mom," Nettle said and ran to a large Sand Wing that must have been her mom. She talked to her for a minute and then Nettle came back.

"She said yes, I can come over,"Nettle said.

"I'll ask my mom and dad too!" Acacia said, and flew to where her parents stood waiting to pick her up from school. She brought them over to where Nettle and Sandie were and said, "mom, dad, can I go to Sandie's house this Saturday? Please, it will only be an hour and a half!"

"Okay, you can go," her mother and father said.

"Yes!" All three of them cheered.

It was time for them to go.
"Bye, Sandie. Bye Acacia. She you this weekend!" Nettle said giving them hugs then waved goodbye, and ran to her parents.

After Nettle and her family left, Acacia looked behind Sandie and said,"Scorpion is coming. There seems to be something on his mind, I can see it in his expression."

Sandie turned to see Scorpion walking up to them. Behind him was Spike, who was laughing quite discordantly.

Nettle flew back shouting, "I forgot my bag! Oh, I need to find it! Mom wait up!"

She came back with her mother behind her. Nettle looked at Scorpion and Sandie and smirked. She looked Sandie straight in the eye. She never needed to get her bag, she lied, because she wanted to see this happen.

"Uh, hi," Scorpion said to Sandie, "um..."

He looked over Sandie and saw Nettle smiling very maliciously. Her expression read: that's right pretend I'm not here. I'm just eavesdropping. It is a normal thing.
But it also read: I know what you're doing.

Sandie looked behind her and saw Nettle.

"Stop it!"she said indignantly.
"What!? Is it a crime to watch your friends?" Nettle said.
"Yah, kind of,"she said.
"I'm still watching,"Nettle said under her breath. Acacia was also still there, but she was so quiet that Sandie did not even notice.

Sandie turned her attention back to Scorpion.

"Tell her!! Tell her!!!!" Spike urged his brother in a very annoying tone.

"Shush! I'm getting to it!" He said slapping his brother on the arm.

"Ow!"Spike shouted.
"Moving on..." Scorpion started, and looked at Sandie and said, "Sandie, I love you!"

Behind Sandie, Acacia and Nettle where screaming. "Ahhhhh! AHHHH! OHMEGOSH! OHMEGOSH! OH MY GOSH!! AHHHH!!!! THE SHIP SAILED!!! AHHH! THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! AHHHH!!!" Nettle and Acacia screamed holding each other's talons. Then Acacia fainted.

"ACACIA! WAKE UP!!! YOU MIGHT MISS SOMETHING!" Nettle shouted shaking Acacia awake.

Spike was laughing on the ground, then he got up and ran around them yelling: "My brother has a GirlFriend! MY BROTHER HAS A GIRLFRIEND! THIS IS SUPER HILARIOUS!!!"
Spike kept tonting them and sticking his toung out like a announced child.

He ran to some students in their class.
"Hey, did you know my brother has a girlfriend?" He announced louder than ever.

"HEY THAT IS ENOUGH!" Sandie shouted.
Finally Acacia woke up and stood next to Nettle and watched Sandie and Scorpion.

Scorpion tried to continue what he was saying. He took Sandie's talons in his and said, "Will you go on a date with me?"

Nettle and Acacia squealed together in unison, another time.

"Um," Sandie started and looked into Scorpion's eyes, blushed and said, "yes."

"Oh Thank you!!!" He said giving her a hug, might I add, a huge hug.

"She said Yes!!!" Nettle and Acacia both said, "So proud! So proud!"

Spike was running back to them and he had a huge obnoxious smile on his face. "So, you guys ganna get married?"he said.

"Oh shut up!" Scorpion said and wacked him on the head.

"I still ship it," Spike said quietly.

"Bye Sandie, enjoy your date!!!!" Nettle said,"see you Saturday!"
Nettle flew to her mom and they left the school.

Acacia looked at a clock, and said,"wow school has been out for fifteen minutes! I better get home. Bye Sandie!!!"

When Acacia and Nettle had both left, the only dragons there wher Scorpion, Sandie, and Spike. A second after Nettle and Acacia left, Sandstone, and Cactus arrived and walked to where Sandie, Scorpion, and Spike were standing.
Then Spike and Scorpion's mom came, she was a large pale-yellow, white, and brown scales. She looked at Scorpion and then at Sandie.

"You asked her on a date, didn't you?"his mom said, she smiled, "its okay, we know her and she is not a stranger, so continue."

Sandie's parents were a mix of proud and confused, yet at the same time weren't surprised.

Scorpion got embarrassed, but he gave Sandie another hug.
"So when is this "date" happening? Should we know about this?" Sandie's parents asked.

They both ignored the question.
"Maybe today?"Scorpion suggested.
"Where though?" Sandie asked.
"Oh! An ice cream place!!!"Scorpion said, "it is not far from my house."

"Can I come?" Spike interrupted, "I like ice cream."

"No!" Scorpion said.
"You'll be a third wheel,"Sandie said,"and you'll probably be extremely annoying!"

Scorpion's mom came over and joined in the conversation.
"Spike, you can't join them you know this,"she said to her youngest son.

"But I want ice cream!"he protested.

"I'll get you ice cream another time," she said,"I need to go with your brother, they'll need to be supervised, and so do you, so I'm going to drop you off at Sandie's house."

She turned to Sandie's parents and said,"will you take care of him for me while I supervise them on their date?"
"Of course,"Sandie's mom, Sandstone, said.

They left the school and flew to Sandie's house. Scorpion's mother dropped off Spike there.

Sandie's parents said, "Goodbye enjoy your date, have fun!"
"I will!" Sandie said waving goodbye.

Scorpion, Sandie, and Scorpion's mom left the house, and flew to the ice cream place near Scorpion's house.
