Chapter 1- Let the Shipping Beginning
This book is dedicated to Sandie herself, and her human equivalent!(AKA --THEY HAS A WATTPAD ACCOUNT NOW--:-----Fiona-----.)
And to all you people who love ships!
Also in every one of my books involving dragons, I use human years, just so that you don't need to convert dragon years into human years.
Also after I finish this chapter I'll publish this and keep publishing each chapter as I finish it.

Oh here is the picture again (I drew it):

In the Kingdom Sand, somewhere near the Possibility and the Scorpion Den lay another Town, where the beginning of Sandie and Scorpion's relationship.
Sandie was born the same day her friends, Mist and Moonspeaker (or her nickname: Luna).
Her parents, Cactus (her father), and Sandstone (her mother), were very good parents! They were very caring and loved her no matter what. Their house was more like a tent/hut propped up against a wall of sandstone. But the ground was warm because it was made of carpets and warm sand.
Sandie's golden-yellow egg sat in a nest made out of warm sand and blankets. The egg rocked back and forth and all of a sudden.
Crack!!! CRACKK!
The egg split in half and out came a baby dragonet. When Sandie hatched her parents were extremely excited.
"She is so beautiful!" Her mother, Sandstone cried, tears of joy choked her throat as she picked up the child.
"She is isn't she,"Cactus said.
"What should we name her?" Sandstone asked her husband.
The dragonet jumped out of her mothers arms and cried, "I LICKS WARMS SANSS! SANDES FEELS SO WARMES!!"
The dragonets scales glowed and shined as she roled around in the warm sand. "Why-e does-es me vo-ese soud diffint in real lif, it make-es mores scinse in me's Brian-no! Brain! Not ri-it's! Argggh! I wants to spake rih-t!!!!"
"Child, children don't talk correct at first, but you'll get better!"her mother said.
"Oh! She said "I like warm sand!" Her dad finally found out.
"Yes! Sans! Sans! Sands!" The dragonet said.
"That is it!" Sandstone said with excitement, "her name is Sandie!"
"That is perfect!" Cactus said.
Hours later it was dinner so that meant Sandie's first meal, Cactus went hunting.
He flew across the desert for an hour, the hot sun shining on his back. But Sand Wings love heat, it's their thing.
It took a while, but then he found it!
Wild cows! Cactus thought to himself. He looked closer and realized that the five animals were wildabeasts!
"Oh, well I guess that's good enough, still a good amount of food," Cactus said to himself.
He swooped down and struck one of the wildabeasts on the head. The animal fell over and the Sand Wing pounced and killed the beast with a quick blow with his claws. The other wildabeasts were screaming and running in panic, then Cactus pounced on two others and killed them with his poisonous tail.
After doing that he had three dead wildabeasts, and the other two fleed to an oasis near by, but Cactus killed enough. His family could have food and he left the other animals alone.
He flew back to the town in between the Scorpion Den and the Possibility, where they lived and carried the food in his talons.
Cactus entered their house saying, "Dinner!!!"
"Ahhhh!" Sandie screamed when she saw the three dead wildabeasts, "they have faces!!! Wyyy!!! Whey did you killeds them! The poor ino-cent-es crate-it-tures!!!"
She cried and hid her face in her mother's wing.
"I had to," Cactus started, "would you like me to take the heads off so you don't have to look at them?"
"As long as I donts sees!"she said, still hiding behind her mother's wing.
Once he took the heads of the three animals he hid the heads, and they all ate dinner.
~***~
At age four(or five), (again in human years), she went to dragon preschool, and that is where she met Scorpion!
He was tall for his age, and was strong too.
His scales were pale yellow, and a blonde-like color. But the most interesting thing was the scales on his arms, the tips of his wings, and above his eyes were black, and his eyes were brown-black. Sandie also met two other dragons, Acacia and Nettle.
Nettle was tall, she had pale tan and yellow scales, and had light brown scales above her eyes, and had small, brown freckles on her face and snout.
She was always there for her friends and would stand up to bullies if they ever messed with her friends.
Acacia was mostly quiet, but when she talked it was always important. Her scales were pale white-yellow, and tan with the scales on her arms being darker tan. If she was to make an angry face by arching her eyebrows (or dragon equivalent), she would look almost exactly like Nettle except slightly rounder.
Sandie met them before class started, it was like a playtime/resses. Acacia and Nettle knew each other before school and were playing in a sand box, while Scorpion sat underneath a desert tree playing with a rock and a lizard. And there was also Scorpion's little brother (younger by only a year), Spike, he looked more Mud Wing,(his scales where the color of a dirty beach or yellow sand scattered with gray and brown rocks). Spike was laughing and teasing his brother.
The school house was a building made of sand and stone and the roof was holding up because of two huge logs nailed into the stone.
Sandie ran across the yard waving good bye to her parents then ran back to give her parents a hug.
"Bye! I love you Mom! I love you Dad!"she said giving them hugs.
"Bye, sweety, I'll miss you! Have a good day at school!"her mother said tears streamed from her eyes as she watched her daughter go.
"Its okay dear," Cactus said to his wife, trying to comfort her as best as possible.
At the yard where all the dragonets played. As Sandie went to the yard she heard:
"Hi! I'm Nettle!"called a young dragonet who was playing with another in the sand box.
"Hi I'm Sandie!" She said, "can I join you guys? We can be friends!"
"Sure! Of course!" Nettle said.
"I'm Acacia,"the other dragonet said,"I made a sand castle!"
"Ooo!" Sandie said, looking at the sand castle that they thought was amazing- to an older dragon, it was pretty mediocre- but the dragonets loved it, "It is the most prettiest sand castle ever! Can I make one!?"
"Of course," Nettle and Acacia both said.
Sandie looked at the tree, underneath was a male dragonet with pale yellow, blonde, and black scales, and his brother a round Sand Wing with tan, brown, gray, and pale white-yellow scales. They were staring at them.
Sandie rather make friends so she said, "Hey! You two! Would you like to join us?!"
"Sure," said the one with pale-yellow and blonde scales.
His brother laughed and teased him saying,"Awwww, my bro has a girlfriend!"
"Dude! We just met!!!!" He shouted at his annoying brother.
"Yah, we all just met!" Nettle said then smirked, "My name is Nettle by the way."
"I'm Acacia!"she shouted then covered her mouth.
"Cool, my name is Scorpion," said the one with pale-yellow and blonde scales, as he went to the sand box.
"My name is Sandie," Sandie said and shook his hand (or in this case-because they're dragons-Talon). Scorpion took her talon and shook it kindly, and smiled.
Sandie blushed and looked away.
"We saw that!" Nettle said, her malicious smirk grew bigger,"you can't hide your emotions! I can sense them!"
"Am I allowed to ship it?" Acacia whispered, but no one heard--except us readers.
"Ha! I knew it! " said Scorpion's brother, he turned to Acacia and Nettle and said, "by the way, my name's Spike."
Spike winked at them.
Acacia rolled her eyes, made a disgusted noise, then went back to playing in the sand.
"Ugh!" Nettle said disgusted as ever, "not happening!"
"Well, I tried," Spike said to his brother.
"Can we all play now!?" Sandie asked.
"YES!" everyone shouted.
"No,"Spike said and continued to be annoying the rest of the time.
Scorpion picked up his rock he was playing with earlier and showed it to his friends.
"His name is Obsidian,"Scorpion said handing Sandie the rock.
"I wanna see!" Nettle shouted then made a fangirl squeal.
Sandie passed her the rock. "Ooo!" Nettle said in awe, then passed it to Acacia.
"I believe its granite, it in fact is not Obsidian," Acacia said pointing at the rock, "see, there are bits of quarts and slate, here and there."
"Oh, well it is just the rock's name," Scorpion said.
"Guys! It is just a dumb rock!!!" Spike shouted.
"No it is not!" His brother yelled.
"OI!!! Shut up! Would you guys stop arguing!?" Acacia yelled at the top of her lungs, then calmed her voise and said, "I'm sorry, its just I came here to play, and all you're doing is shout and yell."
"She has a point," Nettle and Sandie both said.
The whole morning they played in the sand box. When it was time to go inside the school house, all they learned where letters and numbers, then it was nap time, and after that play time again.

....(Kindergarten)....
An class they all learned 'how not to accidentally poke your friend with your poisonous tail'. The lesson was outside, and the air was hot and sweaty.
"Okay students!"the teacher said,"It is really easy, just curl your tail. Make sure the barb does not touch yourself, you might get stung."
Acacia tried her best then.
"OWWW!!!" She screamed in pain, "Teacher! I hurt myself!"
"Oh I'll get the first aid kit, there has to be some cactus joice somewhere!"the teacher said frantically.
The teacher flew to the first aid kit and left the students by themselves.
Sandie and Nettle rushed to Acacia to help her feel better.
"WHY WERE SAND WINGS BUILT THIS WAY!? WHY CAN'T WE BE IMMUNE!?" Acacia yelled and cried. Tears fell fast from her face that she could not see.
The teacher came with the cactus joice and applied it to the wound.
"Okay, it will get better," the teacher reasured her,"you can sit out for a while, you won't get punished."
Acacia sat on a bench off to the side while the other students continued.
Sandie figured out how to do it, very easily. She flew around and was completely showing off.
She landed on the ground and that is when she made a mistake.
She had poked herself in the leg with her tail.
"Ow," she said, "oh wait, it doesn't hurt, it is okay!"
"Oh my gosh!!! Sandie!!!! Your leg!!!" Scorpion said with concern, "the poison could kill you!"
He got extremely scared for her and said,"I'll get some help!"
"But I'm not even hurt," she protested and extricated (removed) her tail from her leg. But he had already went to get the teacher.
The teacher came and looked at Sandie's wound. Nettle, Acacia and other students hovered around and watched.
"Well, the poison is not spreading," she said pointing at her leg,"its coming out in its own!"
Sandie looked at her leg and saw the black liquid leaving her wound and it disappeared almost immediately.
"You're immune to Sand Wing poison!" The teacher exclaimed,"how interesting!"
The fact that Sandie was immune to poison was pretty helpful, in a play someone accidentally stabbed her in the leg and it did not hurt, there are other examples of how this was beneficial but you should get the gist, and I don't want to go on.
