Something primal and angry stirred in romans chest as he was forced to watch his anxiety manhandeled like a rag doll.
Wait— his anxiety? His? Did he... have feelings for the antisocial hacker?

Was virgil actually a villain?
The current circumstances would suggest that Virgil was being forced to do these things!

Blackness, then pain, then... Virgil opened his eyes.
He was in the backseat of a limousine, with four other people.
One was the guy who had knocked him out, the others Virgil didn't know, one wore a shirt with the word "sleep" on it and the other looked like a 90s hippie wearing a suit...
And oh he was so screwed.
"Hello, anxiety."
Greeted his older brother.
Virgil felt his heart start to beat faster... he was in some serious trouble.
"I can explain"
He started, even though he really couldn't.
"Anxiety I don't want to hear it. You betrayed me, did you not?"
He nodded.
The car stopped.
Deceit waved to the man who'd brought him there in a 'stay here' gesture. He turned to the other men in the car
"Come with me, would you dears?"
One of the men nodded eagerly whereas the other shrugged and pulled out his phone
"Nah babes I'm good"
Deceit laughed and the man in a untied green bow tie kissed the other on the cheek, and deceit was... genuinely smiling (a rare sight) and sounded utterly bewitched when he responded "suit yourself remy dear"
As virgil followed the pair into a wearhouse, doubting that he'd ever re-emerge. He could have swore he heard the green man say "I hope this is bloody"
Which didn't reassure him.

Roman followed, but if this turned sour, what could he do alone?
