Hello, thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy. this one was kind of fun to write. I really love the elves. as always please keep it clean and Patton-friendly

you kneeled, tenderly picking some plants off the ground, Crofters would need these, Logan would need these, the outlands and the fairies needed these, that's why you were here. you kept reminding yourself that these plants were needed, even though you had to venture into the dark forest to get them, they were important, they kept people alive. 

you looked up to the sky to see it darkening and you bit your lip nervously, that wasn't good. you hurried your picking, before standing up, closing the lid of your basket, and walking to the trail leading to the crofters kingdom, where you would sort and deliver these plants to the magician and the king.

you began walked quicker, trying not to notice how many of these plants you were leaving behind, that you could harvest if you had the time. you found the rare topaz plants, the flowers known to heal most things, and despite it getting darker and darker by the second, you decided to lean over.

you continued to pick herbs and plants to help, all to help, knowing you would need to inquire staying in the mages cabin for the night. sounds echoed around, the buzz of fairies growing louder, making you more and more afraid. you rubbed the pendant that was around your neck, a silent signal for help from the mage.

you heard the call of the wolf, fear embeding itself in your bones as you looked around frantically, nervously continuously calling the pendant, what could the mage be up to? he was never late to help you out of this kind of trouble. you scanned around, but you didn't see anything. 

you stepped forward, your foot softly landing on a patch of dried grass, and you heard a huff, before seeing two briliantly glowing green eyes look at you from the darkness. it took everything in you not to scream, and in a matter of a split second you were pinned to the ground, what you now realized was a wolf on top of you scanning your eyes with its own.

yu scanned the fur, which was smelled of sweat, and other unpleasant things, a lining of crimson around its mouth showing of its meat-loving nature, and its eyes scanning you. the wolf leaned in,  you  gasped in panick as you though it was going to bite you. but you merely felt a cold wet nose sniff gently. 

 the wolf huffed a little bit before licking you lightly, the remains of whatever it had just eaten also on you, kinda gross but better than being eaten I guess. the wolf got off of you and walked by your hand, taking your hand with its teeth not really in a bite, but not super duper gently either.

you were scared, but the wolf merely pulled you along. you stood up walking along with it. it wasn't a soft grip, enough so that you couldn't pull out of it, but not hard enough to break the skin, so the you followed the wolf, tripping some, trying to keep your basket from tipping in anyway.

he led you to what looked like a haunted castle, before dragged you inside, the door slamming behind you, the wolf finally get go of your arm, before a bright light shone and he transformed right infront of your eyes.

he was wearing a glittery black top, with a green sash, some tight black pants, and knee high boots, most if the gray from his coat of fur disappeared, except for a tuft right in his bangs, he looked up at you, the once briliant green eyes fading to show you two dark-chocolate colored eyes. 

"what were you doing in the forest? I know you aren't from around here." he said, a slight growl in his voice.

"I am a collector. I collect the rare herbs and plants from the dark forest to help the rest of the realm." you said, looking up at him as he still looked unhappy.

"who sent you?" he asked, glaring slightly, his mustache twitching in the slightest way

"King Roman of the Crofters-" you started before getting cut off.

"do not mention my brother's in this forest ever again." the man yelled, looking over, now realizing your scared form.

"please don't be scared." he said, as you just stared.

"You are Prince Remus then." you said, looking at his with wide eyes, though you were the same age you had not yet moved to the kingdom, living deep in ember forest. so you had never seen him.

"Duke Remus" he corrected, leaning a little closer.

"I have some questions, if you don't mind me asking" you said, taking a cautious step closer. you saw Remus eyes widen.

"you should stay the night, its too dark out there, you're lucky the vampire didn't get you." Remus said, before taking your arm and dragging you to a gorgeous dining room. you saw little elves running around, preparing meals and such.

"Storytime!" one of the elves yelled and all of the elves came to attention.

"seems as though the duke felt the urge to kiss someone." the one elf said, as you blushed.

"and well of course that's me." Remus said kissing a broken mirror, and you giggled, a magical sound in Remus ears, he smiled slightly, at watching your awe of his home.

"I'll be upstairs for a second baby, don't worry." Remus said, running upstairs.

"did he just call me baby?" you asked one of the elves, who merely started singing love songs. other elves started telling dad jokes with each other, while other still were talking about the vampire's pumpkin-spice seasonal depression.

 Remus came back down in more comfortable clothing, some shorts and a tee-shirt. he escorted you to the table before plates of meats were served, some raw, some cooked. youreyes widened. (either you eat the food, or you eat some plants that you picked earlier. I'm not going to decide what you eat, so yeah)

after the meal, Remus brought you to a small parlor where he sat on one of the couch chairs. you soon fell asleep, after you were asleep Remus carried you to one of his many guest bedrooms and set you down, tucking you in. he then, leaned over and kissed your forehead before turning and leaving.

you woke up and called out for Remus, not knowing where you were. he came running, before seeing you.

"I just, didn't want to get lost." you said gently, Remus nodded escorting to you the dining room again for breakfast, then he brought you to the parlor, where you started asking the questions.

"why are you here? in the dark forest?" you asked.

"I'm part werewolf, I won't deny it, and I'm not ashamed of it, despite what my brother thinks." Remus said, growling when he mentioned his brother.

"how are you a werewolf and he's not?" you asked.

"the dragon witch cursed us as children, but the curse was for one, as nobody knew our mother were having twins, they loved Roman so much, seeing as he was the untouched child, while I was locked away like some kind of... of." Remus said, emotion getting to him as his teeth sharpened,

"monster." a deep growl rung out, before he looked over seeing your slightly scared expression, that snapped him back and he took a deep breath, returning to normal.

"bet you didn't see that one coming." Remus said, trying to joke but feeling awful about scaring you.

"its alright, you are quite an interesting being Remus. I'm glad we got to meet." you said, and you saw Remus smile.

well, after that every time you would go into the dark forest Remus would meet you by the topaz bush. you got to be friends with all the elves in his castle which was fun, Remus introduced you to the vampire, who lurked pretty much everywhere in the kingdom, often getting lost and not even caring.

now here you were,  with Remus, riding on his back, your fingers in his fur as he ran, you holding on for dear life, nuzzling your face into his fur softly, making him so unbelievably happy. you met up with the mage, which you had met a few times. and the mage introduced you to another "special one" as Remus put it, but you had seen the posters in the crofters kingdom calling them hybrids.

as soon as you walked from the cabin Remus burst out laughing.

"did you see how much Janus was blushing, he's got it bad for that one." Remus snickered.

"yeah, I ship it." you stated, meeting Remus eyes. then you just acted without thinking, kissing his lips passionately, he kissed back. time seemed to fly, dating Remus, and before you knew it you were walking down the dark aisle, Remus waiting, Logan doing the legal proceedings, and Janus best man.

Requests are open, and would be much appreciated, I'm kinda running low on some preference ideas, I have a few but its been hard thinking of some new ones, so if anybody has some ideas or requests, I'm totally open. I am also taking requests for one-shots, I'm enjoying AU writing a lot so I'm open to regular and requests.

I will not write smut, or things like that, I want to keep it Patton-friendly here

I will not write swearing, again, trying to keep it Patton-friendly here

I will not write suicide, I do not feel comfortable writing it, I'm sorry, please reach out if you are feeling that way, there are many hotlines, so please. stay safe!

I will not write self harm, so no cutting, eating disorders, things like that, I am by no means trying to shame or offend anybody who struggles with it, I just don't feel comfortable writing it, and I'm terrified of misrepresenting it and hurting or offending someone in some way, so yeah. I'm not going to write it.
