1: Roman was feeling down about not getting his own Crofters jam and Virgil wanted to cheer him up

2: Roman had snapped at Virgil for giving Thomas anxiety about hanging with friends and wanted to apologize and make him happy

Logicality:
1: Deceit as Logan had really hurt Patton's feelings by saying he wasn't need and he wasn't loved

2: Patton had made a joke and accidentally insulted Crofters then made another joke that unintentionally insulted Logan
