So, basically this whole story is a T/W for cutting/suicide and maybe breakdowns. Just- you'll see... 

I'm going to test you guys: This Oneshot is based on a song, but do you know what song?(I actually wrote the answer)

Roman and Virgil had been dating for a little over two years... they'd met at school but what Roman doesn't know about the school is that Virgil absolutely hates school... well, he didn't know until recently when Roman had found out about the way the kids had discredited him...

Every day since then, Roman had spent his time trying to make sure Virgil was happy by doing little things for him like Disney marathons, Baking with him, more romantic surprises than usual... but everyday Roman had noticed Virgil slowly getting worse and worse, his self-esteem getting lower and lower.

Roman tries and tries but he seems to never lose hope- though one would think that he should just give up... what they didn't know is that Roman loved Virgil and every night he would remind Virgil of the brightest and most beautiful things that captivated the day.

But it never seemed to work- Over the years Virgil has done things like, try to overdose and cut...

Virgil was on his way to class when a kid had tripped him, knocking his books out of his arms and onto the floor. That's when he decided, that was it... He couldn't take it anymore.

Virgil slowly picked up his books as kids laughed at him, he sighed as he rushed to the bathroom and dumped his things in the trash bin. Virgil sank into a ball as he pulled out his phone and texted Roman:

My Love:

            You are my life... even in my death.

Roman didn't think much of it, or of the word death... he simply replied with an I love you with my whole being.

Virgil had put his phone in his pocket and skipped his classes as he ran home and into the bathroom, he had grabbed the blade and one cuts, two cuts, three cuts, four...

Roman pulled out his phone and examined the text from Virgil again: Death: He jumped from his chair in class and darted out of the school with no explanation as his heart raced, he had hoped that he'd make it in time to prevent Virgil from doing any collateral damage.

Roman had raced to Virgil's house to see the front door open a crack, he rushed in the house-knowing immediately something was wrong when he had heard the water running from the bathroom sink... that's when he knew.

Roman's heart sank as he ran toward the bathroom to find Virgil limply laying in the bathtub, his wrist still leaking with blood.

Roman had tried to lift Virgil up but his eyes had fallen back as he nodded in and out of consciousness. Roman had screamed Virgil's name as tears rushed down his face, he pulled Virgil as close to his chest as he could from the bathtub as he began rocking back and forth...

His screams alternated from Virgil's name to screaming for help... Roman had become hysterical as his whole world has crashed around him, the neighbor had heard the screams and had called the paramedics.

Roman began to think back to this past year as paramedics rush in and the doctor declares the scene an emergency, He's lost a lot of blood.. it all looks like a murder scene.

About an hour later, Roman is sitting in the waiting room, he never got the chance to clean the blood off of his clothes and skin, when the doctor walks in with a bitter face as she apologizes for his loss.

Roman just drops to the floor as tears fall from his eyes and his heart breaks. The man he loved- everything he knew... gone.
