I'm not proud of how I ended this, I may/may not go back and edit it later... depends.

Virgil's day started off pretty shitty, First, he woke up late and had to rush to school. Then, when he finally got to class he had realized that he forgot half of his stuff. On top of that, his parents have been giving Virgil a hard time for being gay.

Virgil sighed as he walked to his science class, his mind had been spinning with all the stress of homework and anxieties of how much worse the day could get- he wasn't paying attention to where he was going when he found himself on the floor with his assorted papers and books on the ground scattered next to him.

For a moment, Virgil found the room around him spinning- he pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes in an attempt to stabilize himself. Not a moment later, Virgil had heard an all too familiar voice in front of him followed by a hand being placed on his knee. "Hey, are you okay?"

Virgil reluctantly opened his eyes as he lowered his hand from his face. "Uh- Y-yeah.. I'm fine." He had heard papers shuffling and looked to the side to see non-other than Roman Prince pulling each of his papers into a neat pile. 

Virgil rushed to help as his anxiety began to soar. "Y-You don't have to help" Each of them was reaching for the papers that had been scattered across the floor with each of their gaze directed toward the floor. 

Roman chuckled a bit "It's merely the right thing to do..." There had been a few moments of silence, all of the papers had been picked up except for one. Each of them reached to pick it up when instead of grabbing a piece of paper, Virgil ended up grabbing Roman's hand.

Virgil blushed and slowly looked up at Roman, everything seemed to pause like the world around him was fading as he stared at Roman. Then a group of kids stumbled passed them and into the classroom, causing Virgil to snap his hand back as a series of apologies spilled from him. 

Roman just chuckled and stood with the papers that he had in his hand, he held out his other hand which Virgi reluctantly took and pulled him to his feet. "T-Thanks"

Roman simply smiled, they stood in an odd silence as they stared at each other for a few minutes before they had been called into the classroom. 

The day had gone by rather quickly, it was lunch and like always... Virgil found himself sitting alone in the corner of the cafe. He had almost made the entire period without having to come in contact with a single soul but towards the end of the lunch period, the guy from this morning had walked up to him with a bright smile. "Hey."

Virgil looked up at the boy who had helped him when he had fallen, there was no doubt that the boy was cute... "H-Hey, uh Is there anything you need?" 

Roman shook his head "None of the sorts that you'd think..." Virgil had been confused, there were a few moments of silence before Roman had handed Virgil a slip of paper and walked away.

Virgil hadn't opened it as he sat in his class:

Meet me by the bleachers after 7th period. ;p

Virgil rolled his eyes but he'd be lying if he didn't say that a smile wasn't evident after he had read the note.  The eighth period had rolled around and Virgil had found himself skipping class for a boy...

Virgil crept out of the schoolhouse and to the schoolyard. He looked around and when he saw the bleachers with the figure of a boy under them, his excitement got the best of him and he ran toward the bleachers.

Roman was waiting under the bleachers, he began to think that the boy wasn't coming until he turned to see the same boy headed toward the bleachers. He smiled as he watched him near. 

Moments later and the two had found that they each enjoyed each other's company- more than they would like to admit.

After days of 'just hanging out', the two ended up finding out that they had feelings for each other and became one of the only gay couples on the school which was a delight to them!
