HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!! LET'S GET SPOOPY!!!! (Art not mine)

Everyone was getting ready for Halloween. Virgil definitely went overboard with the decorations, but no one really cared because Virgil was just so adorably excited about this holiday. Logan and Patton dressed as Sherlock and Watson, Virgil dressed as Lock from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Deceit decided to paint the other half of his face with scales and go as a Scythian Dracaena; he decided to have the female outfit, he had the two serpent trunks they were supposed to have around his legs, he could still walk obviously, and he put a yellow contact in his eye to match the other. Now Roman...he wanted to do a classic sexy cat, he got Virgil to do his cat makeup and wore a striped light and dark gray leotard, to look like a tabby, and he had green cat contacts in his eyes, a dark gray tail, and cat ears atop his head. Everyone was just waiting for Remus now.

"Hurry up, trash man!!" Virgil yelled up the stairs, wanting to leave already and grab some candy. Wow! Virgil actually wanting to leave the house? Surprising.

"I'm coming~" Remus said in a sing-song voice, then was heard laughing at his own words. He started to come down the stairs when he spoke again.

"You know, you always see sexy cats," then he jumped down to the part of the stairs where Virgil sits and where everyone can see him, "but no one ever goes as a sexy dog!" Remus struck a pose, one hand in the air and the other on his hip, he was in a brown leotard, fishnets on his legs, floppy dog ears atop his head, brown fur cuffs on his wrists and ankles, and a brown dog tail, he did his own makeup; the black nose, the black line running from his nose to his mouth and short black lines that were tilted downward at the corners of his lips, the white surrounding the nose and mouth, and the classic three black spots just above the mouth on either side. But his smile dropped when he saw Roman. It was silent between them as Remus walked up to Roman and they just stared at the other, then Remus spoke.

"You're gonna have to change." Remus said.

"Me? No you!" Roman shot back, sounding very offended.

"No you!" Was Remus's childish reply, and back and forth they went with the 'no you's. Every year this happens, and every year it's unintentional. One time Roman dressed as a centaur and Remus went as the sluttiest siren he could think of, another time Roman went as Spider-Man and Remus showed up dressed as Green Goblin.

"Kiddos, no fighting!" Patton went to break up their verbal brawl, like he does every year. Logan pinched the bridge of his nose with a sigh, Deceit mirrored him, and Virgil rolled his eyes at how childish the twins are being.

"Can't we ever have a nice outing without the both of you squabbling like children?! Honestly, it's impossible!" Logan exclaimed, throwing his hands up and letting them fall to his sides.

"Ugh, you're like a mom! You lecture just as much as dad!" Roman groaned.

"Who's top and who's bottom?" Remus asked, Roman smacked his shoulder and told him to shut up.

"You shut up!" Remus retorted, louder than Roman, and smacked him back. Roman smacked Remus again, Remus smacked Roman back, and it soon turned into that comical hand-slapping thing kids do for some reason instead of actually throwing punches. Patton pushed them away from each other once again.

"Hey! If I have to separate you two one more time, then you're. Not. Going." Patton threatens, very stern. Both of them snapped into shape, Patton is very scary when he's stern and he means what he says.

"Now, we're going to have a nice night out, and go trick-or-treating. As. A. Family. And if anyone misbehaves while we're out, they're missing the next three houses we go to. Got it?" Patton addresses the entire household and everyone nodded rapidly, Patton's stern demeanor quickly changed to his usual happy one, but it takes a while for everyone else to relax after since they're still tense and scared of Patton. The six Sides headed out while Thomas, deciding to dress as The King from the MALINDA music video Don't Make Me, (it was absolutely beautiful!!) was staying for the trick-or-treaters that come around, and when the six of them got to the corner, they met up with Remy, Emile, and Dice.

"What up babes?" Remy was, as always, sipping on a Starbucks drink, he went as a drag queen; the 6 inch tall shoes, the crop top, the long fake nails, the perfect amount of makeup, and the ripped jean booty shorts. Emile went as Pearl, the Gem from Steven Universe, and Dice went as Count Lucio from the game The Arcana. (It's a really great game, I recommend it.)

"That is a very arousing costume, Remy~" Remus...complimented? Would that be considered a compliment? I guess that depends on what your boundaries are. Remus will flirt with any Side - other than his brother, because ew - and he doesn't even care that they all look the same, he will shamelessly try dirty pickup lines on them.

"Not gonna work on me, babe. Yours is just as ravishing, though." Remy is the only one who doesn't back down and will shamelessly flirt back, all Logan does is either ignore Remus (which is what everyone else does, although sometimes it can be very difficult) or spit out facts to make him go away.

"Guys, guys, first off: ew, second off: are we getting candy or not?" Virgil cut in, very impatient, he was hopping from one foot to the other and was acting like he was practically sugar high just thinking about all the candy.

"Virgil is right, with both exclamations, although the first one was very juvenile, we should start before it is too late." Logan suggested, although his tone was more condescending.

"And remember what I said kiddos, you misbehave, you miss the next three houses." Patton's tone was cheerful, but it was a threat nonetheless. Everyone nodded in fear and went off, Roman and Remus actually had common sense and used their shared brain cell to keep them separate because fighting=mad Patton and mad Patton=no candy from the next three houses. Virgil was grinning under his mask so much his cheeks hurt, although no one could really tell because it was dark and he had a mask on, but the other Sides noticed he had more of a cheery air around him.

They ran from house to house, getting candy from people as well as strange looks, but they didn't care, they just wanted the free candy. It was getting closer to eleven now, there were fewer houses to go to because everyone had mostly gone to bed. People did leave the bowls of candy out, and if Virgil got to it first then he'd be the one getting the candy, much to Patton's disapproval, Virgil would dump all of the candy into his, Remus, Dice, and Deceit would do the same if they got to the bowl first. If Roman or Remy got to it first, they'd distribute the candy among everyone, but take a larger portion. All Patton and Logan would do is take the respective amount the sign says to take.

"This is the last house-" Logan was cut off by groaning from everyone, including a tired Patton, "-because we need to head back." Logan finished once everyone stopped whining. Everyone, save for Logan and Deceit, who just sighed in annoyance and walked behind them, raced towards the bowl that was on the step under the porch light, pushing and shoving. Virgil got to it first and stuffed as much candy as he was able to get in his pillowcase before Roman seizes it from him and held it over his head, everyone was trying to knock Roman down and get the candy. Roman got some in his pillowcase and then it slipped from his grasp and Patton caught it, everyone immediately stopped and waited, no one would dare try to take the bowl from Patton. Patton just stood there with the bowl for a few seconds, but it shocked everyone when he dumped whatever candy was left in the bowl in his pillowcase and started running.

"Patton!" Roman yelled in protest, then everyone ran after Patton, who was hiding behind Logan and Deceit. It became a comical chase, Patton was running wide circles around Deceit and Logan and everyone else was hot on his tail, not bothering to go the other way or spread out.

"Everyone stop running!" Logan finally yelled, having enough of watching them dizzily run around him and Deceit, "we are all going to trade at the house, so Patton will give you some of the candy then." Patton let out a protesting whine, which Logan gave Patton a look for.

"Apologize for taking the rest of the candy, Patton." Logan ordered, Patton blurted out an apology, and Logan was satisfied. Logan, when he's in "angry mom mode", can be just as scary as Patton in "angry dad mode", although not quite, Patton's still in first place. They all headed back and sat in a circle on the living room floor, everyone sorted through their candy and put all the ones they didn't want in the middle. Virgil has a pile of chocolates in front of him, including Kit-Kats, Hershey bars and kisses, Reese's cups, and multiple M&M bags. Roman and Remus basically have the same things, which were all gummies, but Remus also has all the sour stuff as well, Roman just got all the sweet things. Logan just had a bunch of Dumdums, Smarties, and chocolate, because he claimed that having something in his mouth helped him work, but everyone just knows he doesn't want to admit he has a sweet tooth. Deceit just has a pile of salty or sour candy in front of him, sliding all his sweet stuff into the middle. Patton just has anything sweet; Dumdums, chocolate, Reese's cups, lollipops, Smarties, etc., but he did give up most of the candy he stuffed into his pillowcase from that last house. Emile has the same things as Patton, and Dice and Remy have a combination of Deceit and Remus's candy choice.

"Dude? Seriously? How can you not like these?" Virgil incredulously asked Roman, sliding a pile of Hershey and Kit-Kat bars towards him that Roman recently put down.

"Hey! Save some for me!" Logan exclaimed, startling everyone because they weren't expecting that, but it was an even greater shock when Logan just shamelessly plucked a few Hershey bars from the pile that Virgil was originally sliding towards himself. Both Roman and Remus soon dismissed that from their focus and both eyed the giant gummy snake that Virgil slid into the pile, Virgil smirked as he watched the twins look from the giant gummy, to each other, and back to the giant gummy, waiting for something to happen.

"DIBS!!" The both of them shouted at the same time, slamming their hands on the gummy snake and starting a tug of war, all-the-while arguing back and forth for the other to let go.

"I saw it first!" Roman yelled.

"I touched it first!"Remus shouted, pulling the snake in his direction. Remy, Virgil, Deceit, and Dice all started on their candy as they watched the show, but, sadly for them, Patton was able to break it up.

"Hey! Hey! We can do this two ways; either talk it out like proper adults, or I can cut the snake in half and you both get a piece." Patton says, it was clear now he was definitely fed up the the Creativetwins antics and arguing.

"Nooo! don't cut it in half, it won't be full size anymore!" Roman whined, still trying to take the gummy snake for himself.

"Fine, then do Rock-Paper-Scissors and the best out of three wins." Patton declares, taking the gummy snake and walking off to the side so Roman and Remus can sort this out.

"Alright, fine, but I must warn you, brother, this is a game I'm most skilled at." At this sentence Virgil snorted a laugh.

"You can't even win at Chopsticks!" Virgil shouts, cupping his hands over his mouth.

"That's because you always cheat!" Roman shrieks back.

"Or you're just bad at it!" Virgil smirks at Roman's reddening face, getting Roman all huffy is one of Virgil's favorite past times.

"Brother, coooome on!" Remus exasperatedly shouts, ready to win that gummy with a really neat little trick he has.

"Right, right. Sorry, let's do this!" Roman and Remus both put their fist on their open hand and bring it down three times.

"Rock. Paper. Scissors." Both of them said in unison, it really is unsettling to all the Sides when they say things at the same time.

"Shoot!" Roman shouted, while Remus shouted something entirely different.

"CHAINSAW!!" Remus yelled, a chainsaw appearing in his hand and he did so, and used it to chop Roman's hand off. A few of the Sides were freaking out *cough* Patton and Emile *cough*, while everyone else was just grossed out. Roman just shook his wrist, spraying blood everywhere, and his hand popped back in two shakes of Roman's bloody wrist. Logan distastefully wiped the blood off his glasses while everyone else was frozen in disgust.

"Now you really look like Sherlock." Virgil said after that moment of tense silence, that sentence actually almost made Logan burst into tears, but the Logical Side held it in. Patton lectured Remus about cheating before telling them to try again, much to Roman's delight, he won. Roman wasn't about to let Remus have a chance to steal the large gummy snake, so he stuffed the entire thing in his mouth, and it took him thirty consecutive minutes to chew the thing and ten more to swallow it.

"Well, I'm beat. I'm gonna go up and sleep with Thomas." Remy says, taking his pillowcase full of candy with him.

"I agree with Remy, we should all get some sleep." Logan declares, standing up and sinking out. Everyone else follows his lead, but Remus and Deceit just disappear while everyone else sinks down.

"Remember kiddo, don't stay up, and no candy." Patton tells Virgil as they both sink down, Virgil nods in response before fully rising up in his room. Virgil sat onto his bed, throwing his pillowcase full of candy in front of him.

"Mmmm...maybe one.." Virgil mumbled to himself, unwrapping a Kit-Kat bar, breaking it, and eating one of the delicious chocolate coated wafers. As most of us know, one turns into two, two turns into five, and five turns into us laughing hysterically on the bed surrounded by candy wrappers...well, that was Virgil. Virgil, already sugar high, decided to rock out to some good 'ol MCR...aaaand he's now crying on the floor because Welcome To The Black Parade was the first song that came on. He cried to that the entire song, singing the lyrics through his sobbing, and when the song was finished he was completely exhausted. He cried through his sugar rush and managed to flop onto his bed as the sugar crash began, it hit Virgil so hard he's fallen asleep....it's 2:30 in the morning. Patton had to get Virgil up once he slept past lunch and made him eat, Virgil just sleepily ate some cereal, putting in the milk before his frosted flakes.

....That's it. That's it, I'm done. *breaks through the fourth wall and runs away*

"Well...should we do something?" Virgil asks, looking at the other Sides before glancing at the broken wall and my retreating form.

"No, she'll come back, she just needs some air." Patton piped up, as always, a large smile on his face.

"Well, I think we should just close this out. I hope you all have a spooopy HaLLowEen. TaKE iT eAsY GUyS, GaLS, aND Non-BInAry PAlS. PeACE oUt!!!" Thomas said in his best haunting voice before trying to do an evil laugh, he just ended up actually laughing.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I meant for this to - again - be a cute, short oneshot, but it cAN NEVER BE THAT EASY CAN IT!!? Buuuuuut, COSTUME PICTURES!!!

Wow, that looks much better without my braces, but I still look completely awful (lol!). Anyway, I hope you all have a spoopy Halloween and get lots of candy, I know I will. Also, treasure your skeletons, they came home just for you on this one night  before going off to fight in the Skeleton War again, treat them to a scary night! Well, bye people!
