So... I completely forgot it was our favorite slimy snek boi's birthday, that's on me. But happy birthday to Deceit, who's snarky attitude and laugh I aspire to have (seriously, I love it, it's awesome)! He is a really great character because not many youtubers admit they have flaws, like lying, so openly, and Thomas really plays Deceit's part well. But enough about that, have some art of Deceit that's not mine and enjoy the story!!

I can't stress this enough, I love this man so much! He creates amazing things and he's super supportive and interactive with the community the famders created. Now to the actual story!

Ah today, the perfect day for deception. Any day is perfect for deception, in fact, this whole week is perfect. Deceit set his alarm to 12:00 a.m. just so he would be able to brainstorm ideas for this glorious week-ugh, now he sounds like Roman. The reason why Deceit loved this week was because Thomas gave him permission the other day to make a video of him pranking the sides, and he is not wasting this opportunity on sleep. He teleported to the living room so he wouldn't make noise and set up the camera, it was now four in the morning and he wanted to put his first genius plan into action. He pressed record and started laughing from somewhere the camera couldn't see him, then he appeared in front of it, a great way to start a video is to make the fanders freak out.

"Thomas sadly is able come to the camera right now, so I won't use this time accordingly. You will all know my plan soon enough." And he stared right into the camera as he "drank" from a plastic cup, then stopped recording and brought the camera to his door, which was at the end of the hall, and started a timelapse. He placed down plastic cup after plastic cup filled with water in the hall in rows, of course he could've just snapped his fingers and the cups would appear, but the reactions are more satisfying when you do the hard work. He reached his door and placed some cups in front of it so he's not a suspect for who pulled the prank, he stopped the time lapse and spoke to the camera once more before shutting it off. Deceit set up a mini camera on the table that was always at the end of the hall for some reason, and went into his room and waited.

"What the-?! Which one of you kiddos did this?" Patton was apparently the first one up, and he didn't sound too mad about the prank.

"Are you kidding me?!"

"These are my favorite pair of pants!"

"It is just water, it will dry."

"But they're not dry right now!"

"Oh stop whining, Kuzco!"

"Why thank you for considering me to be such a lavish ruler!" Ah, Roman and Virgil were going at each other's throats. Deceit sighed as he thought he should go out before it gets too intense, although he was fairly disappointed that he didn't get much of a reaction out of Logan and Patton. There'll be other opportunities for that.

"What is all this whispering, there aren't other people here too-" Deceit abruptly stopped speaking when he knocked over a few cups and water spilled over his socks, "ah, I still don't get it." He leaned against the wall as everyone started to pick up the cups, most of them haven't been spilled yet, so everyone had to be careful of the water in them. When everyone was halfway done, Deceit just snapped his fingers and all the cups disappeared.

"Couldn't you have done that when you first came out?" Virgil growled at the snake like side, who shrugged in response, then went back into his room and shut the door while all the "light" sides went down for breakfast. Once Deceit could no longer hear their footsteps he quietly opened his door and swiped the mini camera off the table, turning it off, then turned on the regular camera and having it focus on his hands as he crossed off one of his pranks on a list he made.

He turned off the camera and decided to put together and edit what he had so far, making sure to blur out the other pranks that showed on the list so no one will know what he'll be doing next. He saved what he had and quickly exited out of the tab because he heard someone coming, he snapped his fingers and the cameras were now hidden in his closet. His door opened and Patton was there, smiling.

"Hey kiddo, breakfast is ready. Would you like to join us or would you like for me to bring it up to you?" With Deceit being the lying side everyone would think that Patton would just put on a friendly facade, but no. Patton has learned about his close-minded views and has been doing better with accepting the fact that Thomas has those aspects that are more in the gray area, as Logan had said; the world is not so black and white. Deceit smirked, but let it have some warmth to it.

"I would hate to." Patton smiled wider and bounded down the hall, Deceit calmly followed after him. Hey, he's gotta act normal even if he's pulling all these pranks. Everyone was already at the table; Remus, who was trying to steal food off of Logan's plate, Logan, who was continuously slapping Remus's hand away, Roman, who was babbling on about Disney to Virgil, who wore a permanent scowl in the mornings, and Patton was eating while happily listening to Roman. Deceit took the seat in between Remus and Patton, knowing just how uncomfortable the moral side still is around him, and started eating the pancakes Patton cooked. After everyone ate it was Deceit's turn to wash the dishes, so he summoned his mini camera and set it on the counter where only he could see it while it had a view of his hands and behind him, he grabbed two glasses, filled them with water, and put them upside down on the table. Once the dishes were done he placed the mini camera in a new spot and disappeared, appearing in his room. Five minutes later he was summoned in the kitchen.

"This isn't a surprise, I'm actually not wanted this time." Deceit said, trying to not smirk in a way that gives him away as he could see out of the corner of his eye the two glasses that were still upside down and filled with water.

"You were the last one here, why'd you do it?" Virgil accused, glaring at the snake-like trait.

"Of course I did it. Why are you blaming me? I saw everything." Okay, this is where it gets confusing, he's lying by telling the truth and making it seem like he's lying so he'll be off the suspect board.

"Well if you didn't, then who did? I know I would never do such a trivial action." Logan said, making Deceit smirk.

"Oh really? Because I don't seem to remember a time when drunk you hadn't pulled a prank on sober you by-" Deceit was about to go off on a tangent when Logan cut him off.

"Ngh! We never speak of that. All I'm saying is that I didn't do it." Logan said, a blush clearly evident on his face showing that he was embarrassed.

"Um, excuse me, bringing up embarrassing things from years ago is my thing. Speaking of embarrassing things from years ago, Logan, do you remember when Thomas was a teen and you thought being a nerd was cool so you wore those ridiculous glasses-"

"We were discussing who the culprit of the prank is, Virgil, stay focused!" Logan abruptly stopped Virgil from what he was saying and got everyone back on track.

"It was me! Hahaha! I got you! Although it would've been funnier if one of you picked up the glasses and had the water spill everywhere as if it were a bunch of spiders being freed from the glass prison!" There was Deceit's backup plan: have Remus take the blame.

"Spiders?!" Patton got startled and jumped onto Roman, who stumbled back and then steadied himself so he could support Patton's weight. Logan looked Remus straight in the eyes and picked up both glasses, ignoring Patton shrieking about "creepy crawly death dealers", and put them in the glasses in the sink.

"Now you can-"

"Lick it up, baby! Lick. It. Up." Roman cut Logan off.

"What?" He asked, seeing the look Logan gave him, "it was the perfect time to quote Heather's!" He declared.

"As I was saying before the slow-witted nimrod interrupted me (cue offended Princey noises); you clean it up." And Logan walked away, Roman followed closely behind because he was saving Patton from the creepy crawly death dealers, and Virgil backed out and made an 'I'm watching you' motion with his fingers going from his two eyes to Deceit and Remus. Remus just waved at Virgil, wiggling his fingers and Virgil was gone.

"You know what you owe me when this whole week is over~" Despite the sexual innuendo, Remus's actual prize was a bunch of deodorant sticks that Deceit stashed away. Deceit rolled his eyes at Remus, who was wiggling his eyebrows suggestively at Deceit before falling into a fit of laughter, and snapped his fingers, once again; the mess was gone. Deceit took the mini camera and did the same thing he did earlier with the footage, then decided to just laze around.

Maybe he'll bring out Sugar, his albino ball python, and have her around his shoulders as he bakes with Patton. Yeah, maybe he'll do that. In the meantime, he'll binge a few NCIS episodes. Deceit used to watch them with Virgil, Logan, and Remus, but he now watches them alone because he can always tell who did what and the three of them absolutely hated spoilers. Remus stays there because he's strangely quiet whenever the show is on, so Logan and Virgil allowed him to stay.

"Kiddo! I'm making brownies, d'you wanna help me?!" Patton burst into Deceit's room, the slimy snek boi smiles and nods his head. He follows Patton down the hall and they have a lot of fun making brownies, and Patton let Deceit lick the spoons as well!

Once again, sorry for this being late, happy birthday Deceit!! This was meant to be longer, it wasn't even supposed to be a birthday chapter, but I wanted to do something for his birthday, so I decided to make this into more than one part. Anyways, that's all folks! Have a good day/night!
