Logan's door was shoved open quite violently, but fortunately for Logan it did not startle him. It had many times before, resulting in coffee being spilled on his bed, books or on his laptop. But this time he only glanced up from the book he was reading while taking a sip of his coffee, watching his boyfriend jump onto his bed.

He swiped with his hand in the air, his door closing itself, and then he went back to reading his book. Within seconds he was hit in the head with a pillow that had come flying across the room.

"May I help you?" Logan asked, setting his coffee cup down on his desk since holding it was becoming a little dangerous.

"The others didn't want to hear my ideas for making a Jurassic Park reenactment in the imagination and now I'm bored." Remus complained, throwing another pillow that Logan somehow managed to catch, with the downside of dropping his book.

"Perhaps you could suggest a less ...frightening activity?" Logan proposed, Remus scrunching his nose in disgust at the idea.

"Well, they vetoed my idea for a condom water balloon fight too, so I don't think they will like any of my ideas. But then I got to thinking, and remembered that there are other fun things you can do with condoms…" Remus said, sending Logan his most cheeky grin.

"No." Logan picked his book back up from where he had dropped it on the floor and watched Remus pout, then tried throwing the pillow back at his boyfriend as he had put his book down, missing him by a few feet.

"No one's any fun today! Can't we at least go to the imagination to build the euthanasia roller coaster?" Remus rolled over onto his back, grabbing another one of Logan's pillows to hug to his chest. Logan did not think that building a roller coaster designed to kill its passengers was what they should be spending their time doing.

He got up from his desk chair, walking over to his bed and sitting down on it, Remus immediately discarding the pillow and clinging to Logan instead, arms wrapping tightly around his middle.

"Would you like me to tell you about the strange plants I've learnt about today?" He offered, Remus staring up at him.

"...Go on." He said, intrigued.

"There is this plant called the Hydnora Africana. It's a parasite that grows underground, latching onto roots of other species, except for the flower which is above ground. The flowers emit a smell similar to feces which attracts beetles. It then traps the beetle, but later releases it." Logan said.

"Why?" Remus asked, still staring up at him, not breaking eye contact.

"It traps the beetle long enough for it to pick up pollen, then it releases them." Logan answered, fishing his phone out of his pocket to find some pictures. He gave the phone to Remus, who delighted in how strange the flower looked.

"I also read about Nerium Oleander, which is one of the most deadly plants in the world," Logan said, watching how Remus immediately typed the name into the search bar to find pictures, "it's a beautiful flower but all parts of the plant are poisonous and if ingested can cause vomiting, diarrhea, erratic pulse, seizures, coma, or death."

"Amorphophallus Titanum, also called 'corpse flower, is the biggest flower in the world and smells of rotting flesh." Logan continued, a smile tugging at his lips at the fact that Remus was still listening and even seeming like he found his rambling interesting.

"Do you wanna help me plant these in the imagination?" He asked with utmost sincerity and it did not surprise Logan in the least that Remus would want to do such a thing. As Virgil had described it once, Remus had a 'mad scientist vibe'.

"I'd be delighted to." He said, resulting in Remus letting go of him in favour of climbing into Logan's lap to press a wet kiss to his jaw. Logan had yet to learn how to respond to receiving affection and therefore kept talking about the next plant he would think of.

"Hippomane Mancinella, known as the 'death apple tree'. It is the most dangerous tree in the world, eating its apple-like fruits can cause death, the plant discharges a burning sap that can cause injuries, and if you try to burn it you may discover that the smoke of the fire has the ability to cause blindness." Logan watched Remus search for pictures of every plant he mentioned.

"Rafflesia Arnoldii is another corpse flower, also receiving its nickname from the overpowering stench. This flower is unique since it has no stem, leaves or roots. It lives as an inconspicuous parasite on vines in rainforests. When the flower is completely developed it can weigh as much as twenty four pounds."

"Pinguicula Gigantea, also known as 'flypaper plant', a brightly green plant that has a sticky surface, causing mosquitoes and gnats to become trapped on it before eating them." Logan said, then pausing a little and realizing he had been rambling for a while. Remus didn't necessarily look bored, but it was not uncommon that Logan would ...talk too much, bore people.

"If you don't stop me I will go on forever." He said, simply to make sure that Remus knew what he was getting himself into. 

"Good!" Remus only said, looking quite excited about that possibility. Logan observed him for a moment, Remus pulling silly faces when seeing that his eyes were on him.

"You sure?" Logan couldn't help but to ask and Remus pouted before leaning in to give Logan a kiss that almost made his head spin, metaphorically.

"You dork, I love your brain. Yes, tell me about more gross plants!" Remus said with a scoff, prodding his cheeks.

"Hm, very well then," Logan said, smiling at his boyfriend as he willed his mind to remember what he had wanted to say next, "Hydnellum Peckii, or 'bleeding tooth fungus', a pink-ish fungi that excused brightly red drops of fluid, making it look as if it is bleeding."
