The twelve year old boy known as emile to most was crying quietly in his room as his parents laughed downstairs

They didn't realize what they had done if they did they wouldn't have done it but this was the last time

Emiles parents were honestly homophobic not on purpose they didn't know asking a billion uncomfortable questions was hurtful thats how they were raised

God growing up was a mistake. It was easier when he was younger even by just a little

So i think I'll fly away. Set a course for brighter days

Then it hit him. Run away

Emiles grandparents were accepting and actively told emile he could come whenever

So he packed his backpack a few snacks he'd snuck earlier his binder and a few small pillows

Find the second star up soaring in straight onto the morning

He then climbed out the window and scurried away from the lights going into the ditch and beelineing it for his grandparents quietly singing to himself

Emiles grandparents were under a specific star he always looked at so he followed the star

"I know that I'll be fine. Cause i know peter pan was right"
