Inspired by the video above

All you need to know is that Remus and Janus, Virgil's childhood friends, just showed up at LAMP's apartment and got yelled at by an old woman who hates them and who they (V, J, Re) call 'Mom'. She just left when we start.

We also went back in time to when Thomas would have been around 18, because that's how old they are, but to a diff. universe because I'll probably get a lot of things wrong.

Jan is a compulsive liar, and I will put * around his lies. Re and Ro are twins but don't realize it yet.

Let's go:

Roman fake coughed, bringing Virgil's attention back to the very confused trio sitting on the floor.

"Oh, right... Uh, guys,  these are my basically brothers: Deceit: most mature out of all of us and a compulsive liar so watch out for that, and Remus: psycho/sociopath and masochist of the friend group and very physically affectionate to those he trusts." Virgil addressed his roommates, pointing at each of the two mentioned in turn. Turning to the ones in question, he began to introduce his roommats by saying, "And idiots, these are my roommates. Logan, text book nerd that doesn't get figurative language."

Logan sputtered a bit. "I am not a textbook!"

"See?" Virgil continued. "Anyway, then we have Roman: actually a Disney prince, and Patton: dad of the friend group. Don't curse around him."

Patton waved, and Roman stood up and bowed in his usual dramatic manner.

I just realized I should describe their positions, but I'm too lazy to incorporate it into the text so I'm just saying it here. The og lights are sitting on the couch in the living room like normal people. On the other hand, Janus is lounging sideways in an armchair with Remus snuggling into a tired Virgil at where J's feet would be if he was sitting normally.

(Can you tell by the position I put Dukexiety in that I still want cuddles? At least I'm not bothering you with an announcement this time. But this is day five of telling Wattpad about it.)

Anyway, continue:

"Uhm, excuse me?" Patton said, worry lacing his voice. "Do you really consider her like a mother?"

The chaos triplets nodded 'solemnly'. Janus explained, seeing their slightly horrified expressions, by saying, "She's *not* the only adult that every showed us parental affection."

"He means she is." Virgil piped in quickly.

Patton almost cried, and Roman and Logan seemed even more appalled than they had been moments before. "But- But. She said she hates you? She doesn't really, right?"

The three exchanged a look, and as it seemed like Virgil was about to reassure Patton, Remus cut in. "Oh, she definitely despises us."

Okay, I'm bored of this part. Let's just pretend we've heard the conversation drift into how they met who they referred to as 'Mom'. Let's also pretend that one of the them has explained that she was a cop when they met her but once she started to see how corrupted the system was getting she quit.

And let's pretend that Virgil protested the telling of the story, but it's happening anyway.

Starting from that point:

"So we were four unsupervised children in Utah, when;"

Roman cut Remus off. "What do you mean four? Who's the fourth one?"

All of the dark teenagers simultaneously answered, "We don't talk about the fourth."

"Oh... kay." Logan said, confused. "More important question, why were you unsupervised? And in Utah, of all places?"

"Well, all of us had either run away or were kicked out. We met in a park at midnight, became fast friends, and snuck onto a train anywhere else, and that anywhere happened to be Utah. Anyway, we managed to smash a cop car's windshield, and it just happened to belong to Mom. She and her partner, Dave, were getting coffee.

"Anyway, they chased us around the city for a while, in which time we manage to steal and crash a car, get caught in the fire, and faint from smoke inhalation. Luckily, people got us out quick enough and we were taken to the hospital for a day to get better than arrested. We spent like a week in jail, during which time Mom made the horrible mistake of complimenting our art.

Then, we busted out and hid in a construction sight for a while, threw up some graffiti, joined a gang, found out where Mom lived and broke into her apartment, hid there until she found us and arrested us again, busted out (again), stole another car, snuck into a nightclub where the cops found us, then booked it out of the state. I guess they put up a warrant for out arrest and never took it down because every time I try to go there some cop comes and tries to arrest me." Remus finally finished, leaving appalled and confused light sides and Janus winning a staring battle with Virgil to get him to eat the energy bar Jan had given him.
