Y/N's POV

I was in the library looking for a book my friend suggested to me called, 'Dragon's and Witches'. I looked up and down several isles and still couldn't find it.

It's been 10 minutes and I still can't find it. I'll just give u-

Logan's POV

I was just about to put a new book we got in today called, 'Dragon's and Witches' on the shelf, but when I turned around I bumped into a person with h/c hair and they fell down. I don't want to assume their gender.

"Would you like any help, Mx?" (The gender-neutral term for 'miss' or 'mister') I asked, putting my hand out.

Y/N's POV (Yes I know, a lot of POV switches, sorry;-;)

I bumped into a person with beautiful chocolate eyes that I got lost in. I didn't notice the person asking me if I was ok until they repeated themselves.

"Mx? Hello? Would you like any help?" he still had his arm outstretched offering help. I took his hand and got up, brushing off my pants and then looking back up at him, "Um, apologies- I didn't mean to, I wasn't looking where I was going- I'm sorry" I said frantically, face starting to flush from embarrassment as I stuttered for words.

"It's quite alright.'', he said like I hadn't just bumped into him and probably cause him to drop something. "Are you sure? I don't want to go off Scott free if I messed up-" I said, trying to figure out if he was serious or not. "I said it's alright and I mean it. I'm Logan Sanders, he/him pronouns." he put his hand out to shake and I hesitantly shook it," Y/N L/N, he/him pronouns as well", I smiled softly, a little nervous as I saw a tiny smile appear on his face.

"Now, is there anything you were looking for?", he asked

"Actually- I was just looking for a book my friend recommended. I think it's called 'Dragon's and Witches'?", I said, thinking back to what F/N had said. (F/N= Friend's Name)

Logan looked at the book in his hand and his eyes went a little wide as he handed the book to me, "I'm actually supposed to be re-stocking these books, they're quite popular currently"

"That's what my friend said, I feel lucky to have even gotten a copy," I said with a nervous laugh

He chuckled quietly and nodded "Makes sense. They're getting sold out quite quickly."

After a while of talking with the surprisingly cute librarian, it was soon getting late as I looked at my watched and sighed

"What is wrong?" he asked, slightly concerned

"I have to go home soon, I have work early in the morning", I said with sadness coating my words

"Oh. Well, I enjoyed talking to you, maybe we could possibly 'hang out' again?" he handed me a small paper with 10 numbers. It took a while for me to realize he had just given me his number and I smiled, giving him my number on a post-it note and nodding, "I'd like that."

As I started to walk out he ran up behind me and tapped my shoulder, ''You forgot your book" I turned around ad he handed it to me and I grabbed it, "Oops! Thank you" I said with a nervous smile plastered across my face, "Of course. Now you must go correct? I suggest you go pay and leave so you are well-rested" he advised and I nodded, paying for my book and leaving.

I walked home, only a couple blocks down from the library. I went in for a book and left with a potential friend! What a great day! As I unlocked the door, my roommate Remy was on the couch watching Steven Universe with his boyfriend Emile Picani, cuddling. I want a relationship like that one day..I thought as I sighed, walking in and closing the door

"I'm home, Remy!", I yelled, causing him and Emile to jump slightly.

"Y/N! Don't scare me like thaaaat!", Remy whined while Emile just giggled quietly

"Sorry Rem, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity like that"

"God- you're a scary nerd- a very scary nerd"

"Why thank you! Anyway- Ima head to bed now, goodnight you two! Don't stay up too late!", I was heading up the stairs when I heard Remy and Emile both giggling. They're probably making out again-bleh I ran the rest of the way to my room, shutting my door and locking it. I never was one for 'kissing' or 'making out' I just thought it wasn't for me is all.

I got ready for bed and fell asleep as soon as I relaxed

I woke up to my alarm and yawned, sitting up and stretching. I looked over to my phone and realized I had two new messages. I picked up my phone and looked at them

Remy: I left early, babe. Don't drink my coffee >:(

The other one was from an unknown number.
