White Cat ~ No ship
What the outside world doesn't know about the sides is they all can take animal form when they want. Each had their own special animal that they felt close to, much like spirt animals. Roman's is a large cheetah for being the most regal animal he knows. Patton's is a Labrador retriever for obvious reasons. Logan's is less likely to be seen by the others as he finds his impractical. His animal is a dolphin. Dolphins are known for being one of the more intelligent animals.
The sides didn't know what animal Virgil took the form of. When they saw the small white cat wandering around the mind it was assumed to belong to Patton and had found its way out of his room. Even Patton thought is was his. He could hardly keep track of all the animals he kept. He doesn't care about his cat allergy. Whenever the cat was found, doesn't matter who kinds it, they picking him up and dropped him off at Patton's room. The cat always fought them but they thought nothing of it.
Today it was Logan who carried the hissing cat to Patton's room. He locked the door on his way out, tapping the animal inside. This doesn't concern anyone. They know Patton keeps food in his room for his animals. It was only later that things became a problem. Thomas was having a dilemma and the sides came to assist. Except Virgil wasn't showing up like he usually does.
"Has anyone seen Virgil?" Patton asks everyone when it was pointed out that the anxious trait had failed to show up.
"Try summoning him." Logan suggested.
"Virgil! Come out here please!" Thomas called towards the stairs where Virgil would sit. The emo trait popped up panting.
"Finally. I have been calling for someone to get me out for like two hours." He hissed when he regained his breath.
"Get you out of where?" Roman asked confused.
"Patton's room."
"What were you doing in my room kiddo?" Patton said.
"Someone thought it would be a great idea to lock me in." Virgil sent a glare to the smart trait.
"Now Logan why would you do that?" Patton scolded. Logan looked around, bewildered.
"I remember doing no such thing.. Virgil explain."
"You guys do it all the time! Randomly pick me up and throw me in Patton's room. It's very rude!" Virgil growled.
"What?" The other traits asked looking at each other. Roman was the one to speak about the cat. "You mean you're the white cat?"
"Yes! Didn't you guys know this?"
"Of course not! If we did we wouldn't be locking you in Patton's room!" Logan insisted.
"I'm confused. Virgil can turn into a cat?" Thomas spoke.
"We can all turn into animals Thomas. We are imaginary we can do lots of things." Patton smiles at this. "I can turn into a dog!!"
"That's amazing!"
"Virgil I am terribly sorry for locking you in Patton's room earlier. I will no longer do that." Logan said.
They spent the rest of the afternoon talking about their animal form to Thomas who found it incredibly fascinating. After that day the sides always left the small white cat alone. Or sometimes when they would find it on the couch they would lightly pick it up, sit down, and set it on their laps. He seemed to enjoy that more than being shoved into the dad like traits room. The others found it adorable to see the dark trait so bright and purring. Virgil was a cat much more often now.
