Logan groans when he read the next line in his book. He loved reading and the mystery in this book was incredibly intriguing but the senseless romance took away from it. He understood that people liked to kiss one another but what he didn't understand was why. It just seemed sloppy and a good way to spread germs. So when the couple is his book get into a very serious make-out session Logan had had enough. He closed his book and just left his room to get away from it. He walked into the kitchen where Virgil was sitting on the counter drinking a glass of water. Logan figured that maybe Virgil would understand the appeal of kissing. Maybe Logan just didn't understand because he doesn't know about emotions. Virgil knows about emotions and he seems to be the least likely to make a big deal about it.

"Do you like kissing?" Logan asked casually with his head in the fridge looking for his jam. He heard Virgil spitting out water and looked up shocked to see Virgil sitting with wide eyes staring at him.

"W-what?!" Virgil gasped at him. Logan stood up and tilted his head.

"Did I say something wrong? I apologize if that was to forward." Logan apologized.

"W-what brought this up?" Virgil asked trying to compose himself.

"I am trying to figure out why people enjoy engaging in kissing. I do not understand the appeal."

"Well... It's um... It feels good?" Virgil tried.

"How? How can it possibly feel good? From what I've read it should feel wet and strange. With the exchange of tongues and saliva?" Logan looked almost disgusted at the idea. Virgil looked like he was contemplating something.

"A demonstration might better help to you than what I can say," Virgil said. Logan looked at him in surprise.

"Are you suggesting you will kiss me to help me?" Logan said apprehensively. Virgil hesitantly nods and looks down in embarrassment. "Okay." Virgil looked up quickly in slight panic before calming down and placing both his hands on Logan's cheeks and pulled his face closer to have their foreheads touching. "How experienced are you with this?"

"I used to date Patton. We did this all the time before we eventually broke up." Virgil explained before he closed his eyes and leaned forward more. "Are you ready?" Logan nodded and closed his eyes and waited. The tension between them was terrifying but soon they both were leaning in. Logan involuntarily gasped when their lips connected and Virgil deepened the kiss by shoving his tongue into Logan's opened mouth. Logan had to admit he hadn't thought it would get this far without having one of them back out but Logan found himself leaning in closer. It was sloppy but the feeling wasn't unbearable like Logan had thought. He opened his eyes and gasped out again when Virgil bit down on his bottom lip. Their bodies flushed together and Logan's hands found their way into Virgil's hair and back. They didn't stop until a chuckle was heard from the doorway. Logan jumped in surprise and let go of the purple-clad man. Patton stood covering his mouth trying to stop laughing. Virgil broke out laughing at Logan's flushed face and soon both of them were laughing and Logan couldn't tell what was so funny.

"Um... Thank you, Virgil? I'll be going back to my room now?" Logan almost asked. Virgil chuckled and grabbed his hand and pulled the confused man to his bedroom where they continued Logan's 'research'.
