Patton happily bounced down the hall to his boyfriends room. He walked in without knocking and interrupted Logan's research.

"Hello Pat. How may I help you?"

"I was thinking-" Patton began.

"Oh no. That's never good." Logan chuckled at his attempt at a joke. Patton laughed along with him proud that Logan was at least trying for him.

"I know. I was thinking it's been awhile. So would you like to go out tonight for a date?" Patton asked, smiling.

"I have a lot of work- you know what sure. What did you have in mind?" Logan smiled and set his research down. He got up to stand in front of his love.

"How about we go out for ice cream? You like ice cream right?" Patton asked pulling Logan into a loving hug. He felt Logan's nod of his shoulder and grinned wildly. "Great! I'll come get you later and we can go!" Logan gently pulled away and smiled for Patton to see.

"Sounds great."

"You're so cute Logan!" Patton squealed. "I love when you smile!"

"Thank you darling. Though I can assure you no one is cuter than you."

"Aww! I love you Logan! I'll be back around 6!" Patton called before running off to his own room to get ready. Knowing his boyfriend's favorite color is dark blue Patton changed into a darker polo shirt. He left his cardigan on his bed when it was time to go pick up Logan.

"Hello Pat. You look great as usual." Logan said when he answered the door. Patton looked Logan over and smiled when he realized that Logan went for a more comfortable look. He had ditched the tie and untucked his shirt. The top two buttons were undone.

"You look so relaxed! Good! I love when you're relaxed!" Patton cried happily. He kissed his boyfriend's cheek lightly before grabbing his hand. "Come on!" He lead Logan out of the mind space to the fields around them. He knows Logan loves to be able to see stars, that's why he waited till 6 for the date. In the middle of the field Virgil sat on a blanket with a cooler beside him.

"Virgil. It's a pleasure to see you." Logan said as they walked up.

"You're here. Patton asked me to watch over your ice cream till you got here." Virgil said standing up to offer them the place on the blanket.

"That was very thoughtful. Roman does have a tendency to steal our stuff when we leave it un attended." Logan said. Virgil chuckled while Patton began to laugh out loud.

"True. Have a good date you two."

"Be in bed when we get back please Virgil."

"Ok dad.." Virgil sighed. He smiled again before walking away to leave them alone. Patton and Logan took their places on the blanket as Patton opened the cooler. He pulled out two tubs of ice cream and handed one to Logan.

"It's my favorite. Thank you for remembering." Logan said smiling at the label.

"I don't know how you could like pistachio." Patton laughed. He opened his own rainbow sherbet and dug in.

"Patton darling. Slow down. You'll give yourself a headache from eating the ice cream to fast."

"Ok Logy." Logan sighed at the nickname but wrapped his arm around Patton comfortingly.

"This was a good idea." Logan smiles as star began coming out. He leaned in a gave Patton a kiss, he tasted the sherbet but didn't mind. As long as the two were together.

"VIRGIL! PATTON TOOK THE RAINBOW SHERBET." Roman called angrily from the kitchen.

"Well it is his." Virgil chuckled as he ate a spoonful of the black raspberry ice cream that he had in his lap.

"Will you share yours with me?" Roman asked hopefully.

"Nope."

"Virgil..."
