Logan closed the tab on his computer. He's been looking up date ideas all week and finely settled on going horse back riding. Logan had always enjoyed riding open fields but never before has anyone joined him. Since dating Roman, Logan has felt a lot more open to sharing his interest with the others. When Logan heard that riding could be seen as romantic he knew that's what he needed to do.

"Roman." Logan called when he went to the living room.

"Yes Lo? You in need of some princely assistance?" Roman said flicking his hair dramatically.

"Sure. I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me?"

"Of course my love! Where shall we go? To dinner?! Shopping?! Dancing?!" Roman rambled about where they could go. Logan's chuckle cut him off. "What?"

"I've already planned the date Roman."

"Oh! Taking initiative! I like it!" Roman smiled. He jumped up and hugged Logan's waist.

"Come on dork." Logan grabbed Roman's hand and lead him through the mind palace to a door with a horse shoe carved into it.

"What is this room? I've never been here." Roman asked. Logan pushed the door open to reveal the large fields and forest along with a large stable and barn. "Wow! Are those horses?" Roman ran to the fenced in enclosure and gazed excitedly at the majestic creatures.

"Yes they are." Logan said walking to catch up with Roman. "Want to go ride? As a prince I assume you know how."

"Of course I know how! Don't worry calculator I will show you!" Logan laughed as he opened the barn to grab a saddle. Roman gazed at him confused.

"There's no need Roman. I know how to ride a horse." Logan said. He calmly approached a light tan horse who trotted up to meet Logan. "Hello Sandy." Logan patted the nose of the horse. "Where is Pat? I'm sure he would enjoy Roman's company." Logan asked the horse who shook it's head and looked behind it to another tan horse.

"Pat?" Roman asked approaching Logan and Sandy.

"Sandy's brother. I er.. I name him after Patton." Logan said as Pat the horse walked up to them and nuzzles into Logan also knocking him over.

"How often do you come here?" Roman asked while reaching up to pet the two gorgeous horses.

"About three times a week. There are quite a few horses here but Sandy is mine."

"You named this one after Patton. What about me and Virgil! I'm insulted you didn't name a horse after me." Roman teased. Logan's face turned a light pink at that. "You did?"

"Prince is the white stallion over there." Logan pointed to a huge white horse that was fighting a smaller black one for the water bucket. The black one stubbornly stood still to annoy Prince. "That's um Anx with him."

"Logan. That's absolutely adorable! You named horses after us!" Roman exclaimed.

"Yes, yes I did. Now do you want to ride or not?" Logan asked settling on putting the saddle on Pat. He strapped the horse up and handed the reins to Roman.

"Yes I do." Roman said. He swung his leg up to jump on Pat and successfully got on. Logan tapped Sandy who crouched down to let Logan climb on bare back. Sandy stood back up fully and walked to stand next to her brother. With another light tap from Logan, Sandy rushed forward and jumped over the enclosure fence.

"Coming?" Logan asked the shocked Roman who was staring with wide eye and mouth open. He shook his head and stirred Pat to follow Sandy's lead. The two horses carried their humans across the plains and over a river.

"Logan! This is amazing!" Roman called as he let go of the reins to hold his arms out.

"Glad you think so!" Logan said with a genuine smile.

"This was a great idea Lo. I love you."

"I love you to. Sandy." Logan said before turning to make it seem like he was talking to the horse.

"Logan!" Roman yelled. Logan laughed at this and looked back up at his boyfriend.

"Yes?"

"How dare you!"

"Ok, ok. I love you to Roman."
