Roman observed their shocked and horrified expression, unable to contain a dark menacing laugh as he did so. “You really shouldn't let your curiosity get the better of you…. Well… Too late now, I guess.” He said as he pulled his sword out of the dirt and moved closer to them. Virgil took a step back, almost attempting to hide behind Logan, who stood his ground. “Someone’s a little scared…” The prince chuckled.

“Roman… W-Why… A-Are you… Doing this..? “ Patton’s voice trembled as he took a step back as well. “Hmm? Oh… Well, it’s very simple my dear… I got bored… And wanted to try something new, and well… this was the easiest choice…” Roman spoke, his malicious almost insane smile never leaving his face. “I can’t see why you were so desperate to seem like a good guy, Virgil… This is so much fun.”

Virgil whimpered, he looked away from Roman, the look that Roman had was enough to send him into an almost panic attack alone. “Roman, cease this… before you lose yourself in this fantasy completely. “ Logan said, his voice was calm, collected and stern. It was almost as if this wasn’t effecting him, almost. The pure fear shined through his deep blue eyes, though it was obvious he was trying to hide it.

Roman laughed. “Oh…. Logan…” Roman pointed the blade at Logan’s throat, “I lost myself in this a long time ago…” His voice was dull and emotionless. “No... “ Logan said, his voice quivering much like Patton’s, he cleared his throat and spoke with his voice only slightly shaking. “That’s not true… if you had… you wouldn’t have hesitated, and you would have already harmed us.”

Roman lowered his sword only slightly so it was more pointed at Logan’s chest. “Who said I was hesitating…?” He asked, his eyebrow raised. Patton quickly looked at Virgil who now had tears pouring down his face, and was biting onto his sweater sleeve. Roman noticed who Patton was looking at and why. He smirked, gesturing the sword at Patton then back at Virgil. “Move him…” He demanded.

When Patton hesitated, Roman growled “Now!” He snapped. Patton jumped letting out a little squeak in fear, immediately grabbing Virgil and carefully pulling him into a hug, moving away from Logan. Logan’s expression softened as he looked over to Patton and Virgil who were now shaking as they clung onto one another.

“Awwww…. Logan has feelings…” Roman teased, making Logan direct his attention back to him. “Anyway, like I said before I was so rudely interrupted… Who said I was hesitating?” He said the sword’s point tapping against Logan’s throat slightly, nowhere harsh enough to draw blood or even break skin. Logan gulped, the feeling of the blade against his throat despite it being such a small touch still made him terrified.

“I...I would have already been dead if you weren’t hesitant… it’s clear what your intentions are… y-yet you have not followed through with them… You know how it’ll effect Thomas if we were gone… You’re not an idiot Roman…You know he can’t function without all of us”  He said. “Oh? He couldn’t?” Roman asked in such a way that made Logan second guess himself.

Roman tuts and shakes his head, “I thought you were the smart one, Logan…. Aren’t we just physical representations? Whatever we control would still be there within Thomas unless we choose to duck out… Just like how we got along fine without Virgil in the first two videos.” He stated. Logan stood there, unable to think of a response as he comprehended what exactly he meant, and he knew he was right… “Oh dear…. I just realized something…” Roman said in obvious feigned shock and surprise as he drew his sword away.

He turned slightly, still watching the others closely over his shoulder as he held his blood-stained sword in his hand. When none of them said anything in response, he chuckled darkly. “Well, I guess I am just an ordinary villain… I’ve been monologuing...  Normally, the protagonist would’ve taken the opportunity and defeated the antagonist, but…”

He suddenly took the sword, stabbing Logan in the chest to quick for anyone to react enough to stop him. Roman laughed as Patton and Virgil screamed in horror. "You missed your chance." he whispered as he pulled the sword out of Logan, flinging his blood onto the other two. Logan hit the ground completely lifeless. “That look of fear will never get old to me..” Roman stated as if this was perfectly normal.

Virgil got out of Patton’s grip and rushed at Roman, fully ready to attempt to fight him, tears ran down his face as he was met with the same fate as Logan, only this time, he wasn’t impaled in the heart, Roman had barely missed. His adrenaline was the main thing keeping him alive, and soon that would run out. Roman smirked as he twisted the sword in Virgil’s torso. “I’ve wanted to do this for so long…” He chuckled. “Patton…” Virgil managed to choke out as blood dripped from his mouth. “R-Run…” Roman glared at him as he pulled the sword out of him, letting his body collapse next to Logan’s. Patton shrieked and cried, but as he noticed that look Roman had, he got up and ran, his heart pounding and his vision blurred by tears and his blood-stained glasses.

Roman sighed, as he watched him run off. “I normally don’t like cheating… but…” He shrugged as he made the kingdom scene disappear, the two bodies disappearing with it. Patton ran face first into the black wall of the room, making him fall flat on his back on the hard floor. Roman chuckled crouptly. He walked over, placing his foot on Patton’s chest, effectively pinning him to the ground. “R-Roman… Please… don’t..” Patton stuttered, terrified. Roman hummed faking being in thought as he put more of his weight on Patton’s chest, only stopping when he heard a few cracks overpowering the sound of Patton’s pleas, whimpers and begs.

“Poor Patton…” Roman smirked. “You didn’t even get to say bye…” He said diabolically, as he slowly plunged the sword, directly in Patton’s heart. Watching as he squirmed and weakly made an attempt to get him to stop. He only pulled his sword away, once the squirming stopped. He chuckled making the body disappear. “Guess curiosity killed the Pat.”
