"I still don't really understand why people choose to overly focus on fiction rather than reality, as our world, and more importantly our universe has so much to offer," Logan stated. The two were in the imagination on top of a small hill, the scene around them was beautiful. In the distance, there was the faint outline of Roman's castle that he always has, besides that, however, much closer to them was this heavily forested area. Deep green, trees full of leaves, not a single one wilted, dying or any hint that some had been cut down.

The breeze was cool, the temperature was perfect, the whole scene was just gorgeous, including the two or three blue roses that had, seemingly randomly, sprouted beside Logan as he was talking. Roman sighed, "I don't think you ever will fully understand it... But... For me, it's just my job, as the creativity, you can't always pull all of your ideas from reality, they'd end up repeating themselves and becoming unoriginal." Roman paused as he summoned a red thornless-rose between his fingers.

"I understand that... We've discussed this before-"

"Several times."

"As I was saying... I'm more wondering why there are people with such great talents, artists, writers, editors and so many more creative talents, who end up devoting their lives to fiction when they could be documenting the world for future generations." Logan explained before sighing. Roman took a moment. "There are people with those talents who contribute quite a lot to the world in the way you are stating, you are aware of this correct?" He asked.

Logan nodded. "I know... Just... There's so much out there based on fiction... So much time that could've been used to help find and figure out more about our reality." he said. "Well, while I don't know why absolutely everyone whose life is based more on fiction than fact, I do know a particularly common reason among artists, writers, editors, performers, singers... As to why they do so..." Roman replied

"And why is that?"

"It's... An escape...."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Some people's lives are horrible, they're going through struggles that neither of us could even think of, or... Some are trapped in their own minds, having to deal with constant negative and, troubling thoughts... Some people's reality are much worse than the fiction they create, and, sometimes, others who are going through similar things find their work, and it's a distraction for them as well... It's... Better for some people mentally to, drift from their reality for a moment... To have... a break from the stress of it..." Roman explained.

Logan paused as his mind went through what had just been explained to him. "Hmm... That's... Intriguing, Roman..." He said. "There is also the reason that you can do way more fun and extraordinary things in fiction more than reality." Roman chuckled, lightening back up the mood as he twirled the rose in his hand. "Like beautiful scenes like this!" He said gesturing to the one he was incredibly proud of making.

"But... In reality, there are also extraordinarily beautiful scenes...." Logan said moving his hand making the scene around them change. They were still sitting on a grassy hill, but everything was much darker, the only light coming from the light of the moon, which is actually the sun's reflected light, but for sake of sounding simple, it's the moon's light.

The sky around them changed from bright blue to a very dark blue, with black mixed in, stars one by one began to show, and form in beautiful patterns and seemingly random arrays. Roman smiled as he noticed the smirk Logan had. He, of course, had made many scenes like this, and much better than Logan of course, but there was a certain hint of charm to this one, that made it special... Oh yeah... His boyfriend made it for him to prove a point.

"See?" Logan said.

Roman chuckled "Well... Since we are in the imagination... All of this is fake." He stated, smirking.

"Um... Well... it still resembles reality more than yours did."

"Mine was a different time period... It could've been real..."

"but... But there was no documented castle like-"

"Shhhhhhhhhh let's just stargaze, and you can nerd out and talk about the constellations... Would that be enjoyable?"

"Very much so...."

"Alright then, our night is sorted." Roman said as he handed Logan the red rose, or it was red, though incredibly illogical, Logan loved what he had done with the rose. The rose was now black, deep blue and purple, with pinpoint white dots on it... It resembled a galaxy...

And to this day Logan still has that rose in his room.
