Mini-Chapter collection!
Hey so, I've been gone for awhile. [Miss me? No? Okay.]
My bad, things have happened and Wattpad took a back seat to my Tumblr, but I have been writing while I've been away. So accept this little collection of small requests from Tumblr (Most of these were from Anons ) as an apology!

Prompt: 78. “You’re worth it”
Ship: Platonic Moxiety.
Tw: Panic attack
[Word count: 623]
~~~~~~~~
Tears flooded Virgil’s eyes once again. It just had not been his week, it was a panic attack almost every night. He would constantly snap at the others and not mean a word of it, he just didn’t want them to see him like this. Him fighting against the metaphorical demons in his head once again, they were gone for almost an entire year, but now they’re back and they were ruthless. Insults and harsh words seeped into his mind as they were spoken with a venomous tone from said demons, ones that he was now having trouble as seeing as false. So he pushed them away.
His mind distorts every action both he and the others made in such a way to make everything seem negative towards him. That one little slip of the tongue? Everyone thinks you’re an idiot now. That time you dropped a glass and it shattered? Well, Patton hates you for breaking it. You did a bit more makeup than just the eyeshadow? The others thought it looked horrible but said nothing.
Eventually after a week of this, he finally decided that if he can’t do anything right, why bother doing anything at all? So that’s where he found himself now, curled up on his bed, not wanting to move or do anything… But even that wasn’t making the voices go away, he reflected on his past week actions and those were what made the tears finally fall down. The voices calling him pathetic, evil, worthless, all the names in the book. He was shaking, and biting his lip so hard that it was bleeding, he didn’t want them to hear him crying, and the walls were paper thin.
Patton was worried about him, he had not been out of his room all day, and no matter how many times Virgil snapped at him, he was still his dark strange son and someone he cared a lot for. After not coming down for dinner, Patton was convinced that he needed to check on him, so he did. He walked upstairs and knocked on Virgil’s door. “Virgil? Kiddo?” He asked quietly, a few seconds went by without any sort of response, “Are you okay?” Again. No reply.
He sighed and opened the door, seeing Virgil curled up and obviously crying on the bed, his worried expression fell into one of sorrow. He walked over to the bed, “Kiddo, what’s the matter?” His voice was soft and calming. Virgil shook his head, “I-I’m horrible, and an idiot for acting like I did… E-Everyone hates me again, i-it’s all coming back a-again. I can’t do anything right and I’m just,” Virgil’s quiet venting was cut off by a particularly loud sob, “I-I’m worthless…”
Patton’s eyes went wide and he quickly pulled Virgil into a hug, “Hey, Hey- No… No you’re not, Virgil…” Virgil quickly wrapped his arms loosely around Patton’s neck, clinging onto him as he buried his face into Patton’s chest and crying even more. Patton ran his fingers through Virgil’s hair, trying to calm him down and allowing him to cry. After a couple of minutes, Virgil pulled away, wiping his eyes, he noticed the bit of eyeshadow he had left on Patton’s shirt, “Oh shit… S-Sorry…” He said slightly laughing. “Watch your language., but it’s okay, kiddo…” Patton said smiling at him like always. A small silence went over them for a few seconds, before Patton spoke again. “Virgil…” He said, Virgil hummed and looked at him, verifying that Patton had gotten his attention. “Remember something for me, okay? Remember that you’re worth it.. You’re worth everything to us…”
Virgil bit his lip to keep from crying again, and nodded, “Okay, Patt, I’ll try…”
Prompt: "Bad dream?"
[Word count: 379]
~~~~~~
Virgil’s hand shook slightly as he held it up, about to knock on his boyfriend, Logan’s, door. He was mentally yelling at himself for doing so, he shouldn’t be bothering him for something as stupid as a nightmare, he’s probably asleep anyway, it was 2 am. Against his better judgment, he knocked softly on the door, almost instantly he heard Logan’s tired voice mumble, “Come in.”
Hesitantly Virgil opened up the door shutting it softly behind him as he walked inside. Logan glanced over at him, just now putting his glasses on, he was sitting up, obviously he was asleep. “I-I’m sorry just…” Virgil felt so bad for waking him up, Logan rarely slept it was something that they had in common, unfortunately. “I-I shouldn’t have woken you up, I’m.. I-” Logan cut his anxious babbling off, “Bad dream?” He asked. Slowly Virgil nodded, he got memories back to the nightmare he had just endured and a chill went up his spine, making him physically shiver.
“Sorry,” Virgil apologized again. Logan shook his head, “It’s quite alright, Virgil, you being the embodiment of Thomas’ fears and worries, it’s obvious that subconsciously your mind would be more susceptible to night terrors, and your room only makes it worse, you can sleep in here if you’d like, I can go sleep on the couch-” Virgil looked off to the side and away, implying that’s not why he was here.
The logical side gave a look of confusion so reluctantly Virgil explained, “I… Really don’t wanna be alone right now, Lo, I know we aren’t the most cuddly couple or anything, but I just… I don’t trust myself to be alone at the moment.” Logan nodded and shifted to where he was on the other side of the bed, “Alright, I don’t mind sharing in the slightest, as long as you’re comfortable with it, Virgil.” The anxious trait cracked a small smile as he nodded and walked over joining Logan in the bed.
“Do you want to tell me what it was about? Your nightmare?” Logan asked, Virgil shook his head, “Not, tonight, maybe tomorrow though…” Logan nodded, and soon enough the ‘Not cuddly couple’ were wrapped up in each others arms, fast asleep and enjoying the comforting closeness of one another.

Prompt: "You need sleep"
[Word count: 310]
~~~~~~
“It’s 3 am, Lo,” Virgil voice broke the silence as he leaned in the doorway of Logan’s room. Logan’s hands stopped and rested on the keyboard as he glanced at the clock, he knew Virgil was right. “I’m aware, Virgil, I was just about to head to sleep,” He lied, he had been planning on working until he physically couldn’t keep awake, “You need sleep as well, you shouldn’t be awake either.” Virgil rolled his eyes, “I was asleep a majority of the day, I’m backwards but I still sleep. You don’t sleep…” Logan sighed, “You’re right, I will go to sleep here in a few minutes, just let me finish this up.” Virgil thought for a second before nodding, “Alright, I’m gonna come check on you though…”
Logan just silently nodded and went back to work. Again, letting the time slip away from him, it was another hour when he heard Virgil clear his throat, “in a few minutes huh?” Logan turned to face Virgil who was again leaning in his doorway, “Lo, I’m serious, go to sleep. Whatever you’re working on can be done when you wake up.” Logan didn’t say anything and just glanced at his computer screen, contemplating what to say, Virgil took this moment to say something that sounded borderline threatening, “When’s the last time you saved what you were working on.”
That caught Logan’s attention, “You wouldn’t.” He said looking back at him, Virgil smirked, “Try me,” He sighed, the smirk dropping instantly, “This is ridiculous, Lo… Just go to sleep, you’ll work better when you’re rested.” After a few minutes, Logan gave in, saved his work and shut off his laptop, “After we get my sleep schedule back in order, we will work on yours.” Virgil smiled and rolled his eyes, “Fiiiinee, G’night Lo.”
Logan smiled back as Virgil walked off, “Goodnight, Virgil.”
Ship: Anxceit
Prompt: "Who hurt you?"
TW: Blood, major character death, Sympathetic Deceit.
[Word count: 297]
~~~~~~~
It was just another one of their fight scenes, Deceit of course played the villain, while Roman played the hero. Acting out fight scenes with actual weapons, can be dangerous, there’s always the danger of someone’s finger slipping, or red-light fever. That’s exactly, why Logan, Virgil and Patton always warned them to be careful when acting out scenes this intense and intricate… Roman and Deceit would always roll their eyes and agree, not taking what they said to heart. They were the ones in control of the scene, nothing could go wrong.
Yet it did. It went very wrong, so wrong in fact that, Roman and Deceit were staring at each other, mouths ajar and eyes wide in shock and horror. This wasn’t a part of the scene, this wasn’t supposed to happen. Roman’s hands shook, he dropped his sword the usual shiny, silver blade, now covered in blood. “I-I… I didn’t…” He swallowed harshly, he was frozen in fear. Deceit slowly looked down at his own chest as the initial shock from the deep slash across subsided and the pain hit like a train.
He toppled down on the floor, slowly the blood beginning to flow out of the gash and onto the floor, pooling around him as Roman ran off, presumably and hopefully to get one of the others to help. At one point Deceit must have blacked out, either from shock or blood loss, because when he woke up, Virgil was hovering over him, tears making his eyeshadow run, “Dee, who… Who hurt you?” His eyes darted to the sword still left on the floor, “I fucking knew it, I warned both of you to be careful…”
Deceit barely heard him as he blacked out once again, but this time, he didn’t wake up.

~~~~~
It was just another day, Roman was spending the day in the kingdom scenario he created, the scene was much more than the kingdom itself, it was incredibly vast with miles and miles of forest branching out in every direction. Valleys, canyons, cliff sides, ridges everything that could make for a beautiful yet somewhat treacherous landscape. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong, he had no idea what though. All the constructs of the other people were behaving fine, nothing was crumbling or broken in any way, he hadn’t decided for today to be the day where the dragon witch or any of the other villains he created appeared.
He began wandering through the forest, contemplating why he was feeling so off, when he heard it. “Help! Please someone!” That’s a familiar panicked voice, so similar to his own, “Virgil?” He asked more to himself, “Somebody help!!” His eyes widened and he began dashing towards the source of the screams, his mind racing faster than his feet were, he wasn’t sure if he had gotten stuck or if one of the vicious beast he had made had attacked him, or what had happened, this was his world of course he could control it, but it was also his fantasy world, he wasn’t sure what would happen.
That’s when he reached the edge of a canyon, one of the deepest ones he had made, at the bottom of it there were sharp jagged rocks that could be lethal if landed on, the entire walls of the canyon were much the same. He heard whimpering, and what sounded like sobbing from over to his right, he glanced over and his fears were confirmed. Virgil was gripping onto the edge his fingers barely hanging on,it was obvious by the break in the dirt that he had fallen and had tried to claw his way back up with obviously no avail. He quickly went over and reached over the cliff grabbing onto Virgil’s arm, making Virgil whimper and panic, “W-What-” “It’s just me Virgil. It’s Roman, just hold on, I’ve got you.”
Roman quickly pulled Virgil up back onto the edge and backed away from it. Virgil broke down crying as he clung onto Roman, “I-I… I was gonna… f-fall… I would’ve died… I-” “Shh… shh, there now, you didn’t I’ve got you, you’re okay now, Virgil, you’re okay, I promise…” Roman shushed him, “Let’s get out of this scene and go back to the mindscape, Patton has probably already prepared dinner, do you want me to carry you or can you walk on your own?” He asked slightly joking, Virgil shook his head, “I-I can walk… ‘m fine…” Roman nodded, “Okay then,” He snapped his fingers and the scene disappeared, leaving them in the blank room. He wrapped his arm around Virgil almost protectively as the two of them walked back to the normal living area of the mindscape.
Prompt: 17. "If you make any noise, they'll find us. So be quiet."
[Word count: 323]
~~~~~~~
“This is not a good idea-”
“Yes, it is! Shhhh!”
“Logan’s gonna kill us.”
Patton rolled his eyes, as they continued to creep downstairs. He smiled as he walked into the kitchen, he flipped on the lights and hurriedly opened up the fridge, making the applinence wobble slightly, causing a thudding noise to sound. Virgil rushed over to stable it, “If you make any noise, he’ll find us. So be quiet.” Patton just quietly giggled, “Okay, well he shouldn't have told us that there was extra cookie dough left over, and that it was in the fridge.”
“It is midnight and we’re gonna eat cookie dough-”
“And hopefully cuddle and watch movies, yes.”
“And remind me why again?”
Patton sighed as he pulled the medium sized bowl wrapped with cling film out of the fridge and set it on the counter. “Well, I knew you weren’t going to sleep that easily tonight anyway, and I wanted to cuddle… So I thought it might help both of us.” Virgil smiled, “Alright then I guess. We just can’t have the movie going on at full volume or anything or els-”
“Logan is going to catch you two….” The sudden voice from the staircase made them both jump, They quickly turned to see Logan, he was holding his glasses in his right hand while rubbing his eyes with the left. “Sorry, Lo” Patton sighed, Virgil just stayed quiet as Logan put his glasses back on, “Well, since I’m awake now, and this was obviously your plan to get Virgil to sleep, why don’t I just join you two.”
Patton beamed, “Yay!! Yes!” He bounced up and down slightly, and clapped his hands together quickly, Virgil smiled, chuckling at Patton’s reaction. “But one thing,” Logan began making Patton stop hopping and clapping his hands, “No eating the cookie dough. I can make you sick.”

Prompt: 15. "I like to think we're more than 'Just Friends'."
Warnings: Sympathetic Deceit
[Word count: 557]
~~~~~
If Logan was honest, which he almost always is, he despised it here in the dark side of the mind, it was nothing like the light side, it was just a long narrow hallway with branching out pathways. It was cold, way too cold, he could see his own breath in front of his face, his entire body was succumbing to chills and shivers coursing through him.
The walls, ceiling and floor were all painted pitch black, giving off the sinister feel, the only lighting were dull lamps hanging from the ceiling, suspended by gray strings that looked about five seconds away from snapping due to how much they had frayed. The worst part about it was the unshakable feeling that he was being watched, it was most likely he was being watched, it was most likely that the other dark sides were glaring at him from the shadows, they despised the light sides in their realm, so they’ll do whatever they can to keep them from coming there.
Due to that exact fact, he normally made any attempt to stay away from this area, to his knowledge it couldn’t corrupt light sides, but from the way both Virgil and Roman avidly avoid this place, he wasn’t sure he wanted to spend an extended amount of time in there. The only reason he was there in the first place was because Deceit asked him to come.
He had no idea why, but he thought it would be like one of their other chats. One of their chats where, if a situation isn’t big enough for morals to come into question, but the question on whether or not Thomas should lie for whatever reason is brought up, Deceit will come to Logan for him to give the logical reason for wanting or not wanting Thomas to lie, and more often than not Deceit listens to him.
When he got to Deceit’s room he quickly knocked on the door, it didn’t take long for Deceit to open it. The lying side just gestured for Logan to come in without saying anything, which reluctantly Logan did. “Something you need my opinion on?” Logan asked as he glanced around the room painted with black and gold color schemes.
“Yeah… Well..I, think about a particular thing a certain way, and I was wondering if you thought the same,” The snake spoke, Logan gave a questioning look to him, “Well, I’m your opposite, so it’s most likely that I will think opposite from you,” the tone he gave showed that he was confused, Deceit clearly knew this information already, his confusion luckily made him miss the hurt look that resided on the human half of his face.
“What is it you’re thinking?” Logan asks, Deceit hesitated before sighing, “I like to think that we’re more than ‘just friends’.” He stated with air quotes, there was a long, dreadful silence before Logan walked back over to where Deceit was standing, by the still open door. Logan’s expression was cold, emotionless, one that a dark side would have, he sighed and adjusted his glasses, “Well, I was correct, since we are opposites, I think the opposite from what you would like to think.” Deceit didn’t have a chance to reply before Logan walked out, “Unless you have a real reason to contact me, don’t.”
“Really?”
“Well, yeah, I need this photoshoot done for my course, and you’re as vain as it gets so it will be beneficial to both of us!”
Roman gave one of his classic offended noises and that slightly pissed off look to Logan, before sighing. “Alright, What do you want me to do?” He says as he sits down on the park bench which luckily, since it was sundown there were few other people in that surrounding area. Logan smirked as he held up his camera, “Why don’t you just, sit there and look pretty?” Roman chuckled, “Oh honey, I do little else.”
“See, vain.”
“Excuse you I am 100% allowed to be vain.”
Logan looked at him, moving his camera down as to make eye contact, “And why is that?” He asks, “Because I am fabulous!” Logan rolled his eyes, “I don’t know if fabulous is the way I’d phrase it, but you certainly are…. Something.” Roman smirked, “Something that you like to observe enough to lie about needing this for your course that you already finished?”
Logan paused, “Exactly. Now I think we could really get some good shots of you over by the lake? The sunset makes the water reflect the colors really beautifully.” Roman smiled as he stood from the bench, “Whatever you say nerd.”
“You haven’t called me that since high school, you prep.”
“It’s not like it isn’t true.”
“The same is true for you, you’re still a prep.”
“And you’re still a nerd, that I still love.”
“I still love you as well.”
Prompt: 30. "I don't want to hurt you"
Warning: Panic attacks,
(Tbh I went overboard with this one)
~~~~~
At first Roman didn’t get it, everything was fine, they had not had any arguments or any of the sort since him and Virgil had become a couple, nothing more than just weightless insults that were registered as nothing more than playful jabs at one another. Then Virgil had a panic attack, he had them several times before but Roman was always away when they occured and only heard about it afterwards.
This time Roman was present, he heard the small whimpers and cries from behind the door, “Virgil?” The lack of reply only made the prince worry, “Darling, are you alright?” Again, no reply. He slowly opened the door, seeing Virgil curled up in a ball on the floor, shaking, made his heart ache. Roman quickly rushed over to his side, “Virgil I-” He was cut off as Virgil very forcefully shoved him away.
“GO AWAY!! LEAVE!! GO AWAY!!” He yelled, his eyes immediately shifted from angered to purely fearful as he whimpered, “P-Please… L-leave…” Roman nodded, “O-Okay, love…” He said before quickly leaving and going to Logan’s room, Logan was the one who helped Virgil with his panic attacks.
Before Logan even got the chance to ask why Roman needed him and why he looked frightened, Roman explained, “Lo, Virgil is having a panic attack, but he’s pushing me away and yelling at me and I don’t know what to do-”
Logan’s eyes widened, “Just, stay here, I will handle this.” Logan walked over to Virgil’s room, calmly pushed the door open and walked in, Virgil didn’t yell at him to leave or to leave him alone or anything of the sort.
Roman tried to pretend that he wasn’t at least mildly hurt by that, and just stayed put, leaning against the wall as he waited. After a bit of time had passed, Logan walked out of Virgil’s room, again, before Logan could say anything, Roman asked a question, “So am I going to know what that was about or, am I just going to be kept in the dark?”
Logan sighed, “At this current moment, Virgil doesn’t want me to explain it, and he can’t explain it due to his still semi-fragile state, so yes, for right now.” Roman nodded, “Alright then, am I able to even go see him at the moment? I don’t want him to be uncomfortable.” Logan thought for a moment before nodding as well, “He should be alright, just don’t ask about what just happened, he isn’t mad at you or anything, and he will explain at a later time.”
Roman thanked him and went into Virgil’s room, he acted like none of that happened, they went the rest of the day like that. Virgil knew that Roman wanted an explanation and an apology, but, he couldn’t exactly tell him at that time.
It wasn’t until this occurrence had happened about five more times during a two month period that Virgil was able to say what was going on.
“Ro…?” Virgil asked timidly, he knew he was probably hurting his boyfriend by pushing him away and only allowing Logan to help him during those moments of excessive alarm, and he hated himself for it. Roman glanced from the TV screen where one of the musicals he had seen several times before was playing, to Virgil who was beside him on the couch, “Hmm?” He hummed in response. “I… I’m sorry, that I… quite literally push you away when I’m panicking…” Virgil mumbled in response as he glanced down at the floor.
Roman sighed, “It’s alright, Virgil. If you are alright with me asking, why you do that, but don’t push Logan away the same?” Virgil bit his lip in thought, he wanted to word this properly, he truly didn’t want to make Roman upset or any more jealous of the logical side than he already was, “Just, um… Okay, I’m not entirely sure, why this happens but… When I’m panicking like that, I’m thinking of everything that I’ve done wrong, and just thinking of a lot of, insults towards myself, it’s a mess, but, when you’re around when I’m like that…. This is probably because you’re creativity and everything, but I suddenly start thinking of more things, more insults, more things I did wrong, it just makes it worse. I-I know it’s not on purpose, I use to think it was, but I know it’s not now… Um, so, I can’t be around you when I’m like that, it doesn’t help and I’m really sorry that I couldn’t explain it well, and, I-”
“Virgil,” Roman’s quiet yet fairly stern tone made the words catch in Virgil’s throat, “I am not at all upset or hurt by that, I don’t want to hurt you, therefore I will stay away from you during those moments, and get Logan or Patton to help,” He said as he smiled at the emo trait, Virgil smiled back and quickly hugged him, “Thank you, Ro…”
“Anything for you, my love…”
“Cheesy.”
“Excuse you it’s called romantic.”
“And cheesy.”
“You love it.”
“Debatable.”

Prompt: 91. "You look beautiful in the moonlight"
[Word count: 233]
~~~~~~
Patton really hoped Virgil didn’t catch him staring, he just looked so peaceful like this, staring up at the starry night sky. The light of the full moon was the only thing keeping the scene from being pitch black, it casted a breathtaking glow on Virgil. He could see the reflection of the stars in his deep purple eyes, it made his heart skip a beat, he didn’t know what he was thinking, but before he could stop himself, the words just slipped out.
“You look beautiful in the moonlight.”
Virgil immediately looked over, his face now having a slightly red tint, shoot he did hear and understand him, the darker trait smiled, “You do too, Pat.” Patton’s face had the same tint Virgil’s did, causing them both to giggle like the little dorks they are.
Then Patton woke up, he sighed aggravatedly, why does he have to wake up before he could finish the dream? Why couldn’t he just go back to sleep and go back to that dream? He looked over at his alarm clock, he still had half an hour before he was supposed to wake up. He quickly turned over and tried to go back to sleep, which he did, only he didn’t get to have the same sweet dream as before, now that was gone, lost somewhere in his subconscious, just a dream that would never come true.
