"It makes me seem foolish-"

"Oh, don't act like you're never foolish Mr. AteAWholeJarOfCroftersInLikeThreeSeconds."

"I was just excited... Not foolish."

"Wait-he did what now?"

"He ate an entire jar of crofters in maybe a minute."

"Was that why you were sick a few weeks ago?"

"...... Not important."

"Logan!"

Thomas walked down the stairs into the living room listening in on the conversation between his sides, who were all sitting on the couch. "What on earth?" He asked, making their attention snap to him.

"Oh hey kiddo!!" Patton said waving, Roman and Virgil both had smirks on their faces while Logan just looked embarrassed. "What are you guys doing in here?" Thomas asked. Virgil shrugged "I guess picking on Logan."

Logan rolled his eyes and sighed. "No. Patton wanted to reminisce, and I requested that we don't reminisce about a certain topic-"

"Then Roman brought up Crofters so now we're picking on Logan." Virgil said earning a glare from the logical trait. "Now, now... Let's get back to what we were supposed to do, Thomas you should join us! We were going to be talking about you after all!" Patton said giggling.

Thomas looked worried but intrigued, "Oh? Um... Okay." He walked over to the couch and sat down beside Virgil. Logan sighed "Do we really have to do this now? I have work to-" "You're not using that excuse for the fifth time in a row." Virgil interrupted

"Anyway! As you probably know kiddo, we've been here all your life, well most of us." Patton stated smiling. "What do you mean by most of you? Weren't you all like... Made at the same time?" Thomas asked. "No." "Nope!" "Of course not." "Nooooo..." The four stated all at the same time.

"Some of us are older than the others! Like, me and.... Someone else... Um. Are the oldest, we couldn't tell who appeared first out of the two of us!" Patton explained. Roman smirked "Then of course it was me! Around the time your imaginary friends started appearing! They were interesting... I don't know what I was thinking there..." He said shaking his head a bit.

"And because imagination isn't always sunshine and rainbows... I sort of appeared next... " Virgil stated. Thomas glanced at him "But I didn't start like... Getting bad anxiety till the end of middle school and highschool... " "yeah. That's why I said sort of... I wasn't... Anxiety really? It was weird... "

"You didn't even have a sort of physical appearance until later, but there was always a voice saying 'Princey shut up' or 'Princey don't do that!'" Roman said with a slightly mocking tone. "And if I had let you do a lot of the ideas you had, like put a fork in the electric socket, Thomas would have died!" Virgil snapped, but in his tone it was obvious that this wasn't about to turn into an argument this was just joking around.

"I know that now! But then it seemed perfectly fine." Roman defended himself. Patton shrugged, "It was kind of scary back then though..." He said quietly. "That was the only way you guys would listen to me." Virgil mumbled. "Anyway, Yeah... I was pretty much just feelings and a disembodied voice for awhile..."

Thomas nodded before his mind clicked. "Wait.... Does that mean that-" "I'm the youngest? Yes." Logan stated clearing his throat and adjusting his glasses. "I only appeared once you had learned enough to have your own form of logic and reason that coincided with your morals... Which was before Virgil had a physical appearance, but after he was at least a presence." he explained.

"Yep! The little nerd is the youngest!" Roman chuckled as he slung his arm around Logan's neck pulling him closer to him. Logan glared and tried to get free from Roman's grip. "Now Roman, I think before we go into what happened when Logan arrived... We should say what happened when you met... Him... For the first time... That was adorable." Patton said his smile just as bright as before.

"O-Or we could not-" Roman said as he released Logan. Virgil smirked "I don't think I know this story... Do tell Patton..." "ooorr... I could show you!" he said. "I mean if you're okay with it Thomas, we'd be in the mindscape for a minute or two." He asked. Thomas immediately nodded "Yeah sure!"

"Great!" Patton clapped his hands and immediately the scene changed, It was just a blank white room, like the one Roman had accidentally made when they were trying to make the mind palace. "ow!" Virgil hissed covering his eyes. "You'll adjust to it in a second Virgil.." Patton whispered as he looked ahead of them.

Thomas and the others looked the same way and saw, a two little kids, maybe four or five, one was dressed like Patton, well his older outfit, except without his cardigan as it was on the floor behind him.

The other dressed in the prince's old outfit which made him look like a little kid who wanted to be a disney prince for halloween. "Wha's your name?" The mini Patton babbled. "Mine's Mowality!" The mini Roman tilted his head to the side "Thas a weird name..."

"that was meaan!!!"

"I sowwy.."

"Oh my goodness gracious..." Thomas whispered trying not to squeal. Patton shook his head, "They can't hear or see us... Don't worry." he chuckled. "Okay... Wait did you guys not know your own names? or did you make them up yourselves?" Thomas asked. Patton shook his head "We only knew our traits until Logan appeared... Then we just... Suddenly knew them."

"I'm.... Cweativwity!" The mini prince spoke before giving a confused look to himself, "hmm... Or just call me pwincey!"

"Okay Pwincey." Virgil mocked before laughing. "Oh shut up!" Roman rolled his eyes. "What? you were adorable... I wonder what happened." He mumbled. "I'm going to punch you." "Are you? Really?" "....no..."

"Come on!! There's another won!" Mini-Patton said grabbing onto Mini-Roman's wrist, trying to quickly turn around and run, only to trip on his cardigan, making them both fall. "Ow...." "Ow!" Mini-Patton stood up again and picked up the cardigan, while the mini-prince stayed on the floor. "Pwincey?" Mini-Patton asked as he tilted his head.

Mini-Roman pouted. "That hurt. I don't twust you now..." Virgil tried to hold back a laugh. "Were you seriously this pouty?" "Yes..." Both Roman and Patton answered. "Awe... I din't mean to... I sowwy... " Mini-Patton said offering a hand to help him up. "Come wit me pwease?"

Mini-Roman hesitated before taking Mini-Patton's hand. Mini-Patton smiled and started to quickly walk away making the mini prince follow him. Patton gestured for the others to follow him as he moved to follow him and Roman's past-selves. They did so.

Eventually they came to a wall, where another mini side was sitting against the wall, he was wearing a black t-shirt which had a gold band around the neck and sleeves, and a snake on it, and black pants. The other obvious sign about who this side was, was the very faint green scales on the side of his face, and his left eye that seemed a bit off... Not fully snake like as he appeared now, but it looked just a bit more yellow than the other.

"Deceit!! Thewe's somewon new!" Mini-Patton said as he stopped in front of the other side. Mini-Deceit tilted his head to look at Mini-Roman "Who are you?" He asked. The two of them looked at each other with narrowed eyes. "Your face is weird. Its like a dwagon." Mini-Roman said.

Virgil completely lost his composure and started laughing. "Oh my god- The first thing you did when you met them, Roman, was insult both of them." He said as he tried to catch his breath. Roman rolled his eyes and groaned "Ughhh can we just leave this now?" He said.

"There's still a lot to see though!!" Patton whined. "But.... I don't want to look through it." Roman pouted. "but-" "It's okay Patton, we can look through all this another time... I promise." Thomas said smiling. Patton sighed. "Okay..." He said clapping his hands twice, immediately bringing them back to the real world.

"Now, I have to go slay something to get my pride back." Roman stated as he stood and started walking back up the stairs. "What a dwagon?" Virgil mocked, earning an agitated groan from upstairs. "Be nice, Virgil..." Patton said. "Hey it's pay back." Virgil said already taking out his phone.

Logan sighed "That was... Entertaining to say the least." He said with a bit of a smile. "That was really cool. I'm being serious, we have to do it again sometime." Thomas beamed. Logan nodded "Yes, when you have adequate time too, it would be recommended that this is repeated, but for now... I believe you have some work to do, as do I..." He stood and adjusted his glasses.

"Lo?" Patton asked tilting his head. Logan hummed in response "Go check on Roman, make sure he's actually okay..." Patton requested. "Ah, alright... I will see you two at dinner? If that's still happening?" Logan said with a nod. Patton nodded happily "Yep!"

Virgil's eyes widened "Oh shit, I need to go get ready for that." He said as he quickly rushed up the stairs as well. "No need to run kiddo!" Patton said as he walked up the stairs after him. "Whoa whoa wait- what dinner?" Thomas asked getting Logan's attention before he could leave

"Oh. It doesn't concern you, Thomas no need to worry..." He stated simply. "I didn't think so, but like... Is it important to you guys? I'm curious." He said. Logan nodded "Well yes." He spoke as he started to walk up the stairs. "What's it for?" Thomas said after him

"Our anniversary."
