(Prinxiety) thrill of first love
(Okay...so I've been watching some musicals including Falsettos and I absolutely fell in love with it! So I highly recommend that while you read this please listen to the song, I tried timing it along with the song to keep up with the flow of the song.)
(PS: halfway there a little switch between characters but then itll change back and a little lyric change.)
Roman stormed into Virgil's room where the dark side was scrolling through his phone, the prince huffed and dumped a basket of freshly washed clothes on the bed beside him.
“Hang up all your clothes.” Roman demanded.
“Roman begs.” Virgil huffed with a roll of his eyes.
“Roman knows.” Roman snapped.
“Shave your legs.” Virgil snapped back.
“Make me sick.” Roman grimaced.
“You're a prick.” Virgil frowned.
“God you're impossible!” Roman groaned but couldn't help but smile, he leaned forward and took Virgil's hand.
“We've been together for nine month's-”
“Ten months-”
“Nine months- ”
“Ten Months-”
“Nine months!
“Ten months.”
Virgil sighed. “We are the salt of the bourgeoisie.”
Roman grinned and pulled him off the bed. “While I put the steak in.”
Virgil wrapped and arm around him. “I bring home the bacon.” He held back a chuckle. “And we're proud to say we love it how we”
“Don't.”/“Won't.”
“Won't”
“Don't.”
“Won't”
“Don't….”
They sighed. “Agree.”
Roman pulled away from Virgil and walked up over to the basket of clothes, he picked up a black shirt and cringed. “Everything he owns is vile.” He turned his head to look over at Virgil.
“Virgil doesn't care a whit
Virgil doesn't share my devotion to…." A pause.
"Style.”
He threw the shirt back into the basket and shut his eyes.
“Men from France can cancel a debt.
Men in cufflinks make me forget my name.
I intend to upset..” He frowned.
“This regrettable game.”
He reopened his eyes and walked up to a snickering Virgil. The darker side grinned. “Roman takes me by the neck.” The taller of the two grabbed the collar of Virgil's shirt and glared at him. “What is this, wash and wear?” he tugged at the material with shame. Virgil smiled dreamily at him. “Roman has unlimited knowledge of….”
He eyed him up and down.
“Dreck.”
Roman's gaze softened. “Send me flowers.”
Virgil took his hand. “Mention is made.”
Roman gave him a pleading look. “Make them roses.”
Virgil rolled his eyes. “Attention is paid in full.”
Roman groaned and pushed him away. “See how quickly he sours.” He grumbled and turned away.
“When he pushes, I pull.” Virgil grabbed Roman's waist and pulled him back towards him.
Roman avoided his gaze. “Hang up your clothes, Virgil.
Breeding shows, Virgil.” Virgil ignored him and hugged him close. “I was lonely he was desperate.”
Roman hummed. “We fit like a glove.”
Virgil looked up at him. “Close your eyes, Roman.”
Roman gave him a soft look. “Passion dies but I'd kill for that thrill of first love.”
Virgil swayed with Roman. “We ask for passion at all times.
We stand to passion and drink this toast.”
“Still it's awfully trying.” Roman claimed.
“And we're not denying.” Virgil lightly shoved Roman away.
“That of all the lesser passions,
We like fighting most.”
Roman squinted in thought. “Eh…..”
Virgil smiled up at him. “Roman screws too much to see what a joy's monogamy what a joy is saving his joys for one man.”
His smile faded. “Leave me.”
Roman cupped his face. “Love me.”
Virgil looked down. “Don't be a fool.”
Roman held him closer. “Want me.”
Virgil yawned. “Feed me.”
Roman let go of him and turned his head away from him, arms crossed over his chest. “No one so cruel and…cheap.” Yet when he looked back at Virgil he couldn't help the beating of his heart.
“What I love I devour.” He reached out to cup Virgil's face once more. “What you love you devour, what I covet I keep.” Virgil smiled and stepped back.
“Isn't that right, Roman?
Let's both fight, Roman!” He teased.
Roman scoffed. “I was trained in karate.”
Virgil took his arm and pulled him towards him. “I'm best when I cheat.
So I'll cheat, Roman, and I'll shove.
And I'll kill for that thrill of first...
Love.”
Roman started, “We've been together for nine months-”
“Ten months.”
“Nine months.”
“We've been together for ten months!”
“Nine months!”
“Ten months.”
“In fact we've almost survived a year.”
“True, but who is counting?” Roman shrugged.
They leaned forward for a kiss but stopped halfway. “We're too busy mounting a display of our affection that is so sincere.” They stared at each other before Roman quickly pecked Virgil on the lips and stepped away, Virgil whined and grabbed him by the loopholes of his jeans and pulled him back. Roman chuckled and lightly shoved him away, Virgil growled and reached for him, grasping onto his clothes and grinned up at him. They pushed at each other, hands gripping onto their shoulders, both laughing as though nothing were wrong.
Together they landed on the bed breathing heavily, they looked at each other for a moment to catch their breath before rising once more.
“Passion dies.”
“Passion dies!”
“I would kill for that thrill of first love.”
“I would kill for that thrill of first love.”
“I would kill for that thrill of first love.”
“I would kill for that thrill-”
“I would kill for that thrill of first-”
“Love.”
“Love.”
“Love!”
