(Logicality & Prinxiety) demigods 2

I'm seriously thinking about making this au into a whole book, what do you guys think? I'd love to hear your opinions.

Remy- son of Hypnos

Logan frowned at a sudden realization. “I do not believe Hermes will be of much help.” He claimed, the trio looked at him with confused expressions. “Why not?” Patton asked and leaned closer to him. “Apollo is very fond of Hermes. He thinks of him as a brother. And need I inform you that Hermes was the one that created the lyre.” Roman groaned as realization settled in like a ton of bricks. “How could I forget such a thing!?” He cursed at himself.

“I suppose you wanted to forget all about him after finding out about what your mother and him did...” Logan muttered. Roman huffed. “My step siblings are not as bad when you get to know them.” He mumbled in defense. “Have you even met them?” Logan questioned. Roman just glared at him, a blush creeping to his face.

It is known that Aphrodite and Hermes both had a child together that bore both male and female..parts....

Hermaphroditus (the first original ship name) was the child's name. While originally male, he had thighs, breast, figure, and hair style of a female and male parts underneath. That's not even the confusing part. In his fifteenth year, or so, he went to Caria and laid by the well of Salmacis(who is today known as the only Greek rapist... Yeah pretty dark) . The nymph of the well instantly fell in love with him, what with him bearing the beauty of both Hermes and Aphrodite he was sure to be irresistible. Once Hermaphroditus bathed in the well, the nymph embraced him and prayed to the god's that they permit her to remain united with him forever.

Surprisingly the god's granted her request and the bodies of the youth and nymph became united in such a manner that the two together could not be called either man or woman, but instead were both. (guess they were also the first original fusion except not exactly the good kind)

But that aside, while Hermes did seem like a good solution to Roman's problems, he was also not a great one at the moment considering their situation. “Then who can help us?” Virgil asked in annoyance. “We'll just have to—” “Hey!” The group jolted from their seats as a teacher arrived. Patton jumped and leaned closer to Logan, he grasped onto his arm and hid behind him. Virgil felt goose bumps prick at the hairs of his arms and he immediately reached for Roman's hand. “Now would be a good time to run.” He muttered.

“How come?” Roman asked curiously not being able to feel the danger Virgil was sensing. “He's a—” When they didn't give an answer the teacher let out a loud roar that shook the building, he crouched down to the ground and his body trembled violently. Patton gasped. “Is he hurt?” He asked worriedly. “No Patton that's a...” Logan trailed off as the man's size grew twice as much, and before the group could plan their escape he began tearing apart the bleachers nearly knocking them down.

“A cyclops!” Roman exclaimed and searched his pockets, his blood ran cold when he realized his mistake. “My sword.” He uttered. “I forgot my sword!” Logan sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Of course, Patton stay behind me.” He demanded and pressed a small button from the side of his wrist watch. As soon as he did so a glimmering round shield appeared and he rose his arm to shield himself and Patton.

Virgil took hold of Roman's arm and together the group ran down the bleachers while the cyclops threw pieces of wood and iron. “We can't leave this thing in the school!” Roman exclaimed. “In case you haven't noticed, he's bigger than us and can kill us in a heartbeat!” Virgil yelled. “Watch out!” A tether ball pole was thrown to them and the group immediately dispersed to avoid getting hit. Which led to Virgil and Roman getting cornered and Logan and Patton near the exit.

Virgil cursed under his breath and looked for another exit. “Virgil! Roman!” Patton cried out, ready to run to their aid, but Logan quickly held him back. “Patton stop!” Logan demanded, keeping a firm grip on his arm. “We'll be okay Pat! Just go!” Virgil reassured and pushed Roman behind him as the cyclops grew closer. Logan quickly pulled Patton by the arm and together they both ran out of the gym quickly shutting the door behind them.

Patton had tears streaming down his cheeks, his face was flushed pink and his hands trembled as he attempted to wipe away his tears. Logan lowered him to the ground and kneeled in front of him. “Patton, you need to calm down. I promise you they are going to be okay.” Logan promised as he cupped the crying boy's face. “I—I can't even help them...I'm useless.” Patton sobbed and dropped his head. Logan pursed his lips. “You are not useless, you are important and we all love you, so please calm down. We have to stay strong for them.” He said and stood back up, pulling Patton along with him.

Logan looked around the empty halls to make sure that no one else was around before he gently cupped Patton's face and wiped away his tears. “Everything is going to be okay Patton. I promise you.” He whispered and pressed a kiss to his temple. Patton sniffed and gave Logan a small glum smile. “Thank you...” He mumbled and recollected himself. “We've gotta find Remy.” Logan stated and took hold of Patton's hand. “You think he can help Virgil and Roman?” Patton questioned as they both ran through the hall. “If he's in a good mood, then there's about a five percent chance that he might help.” Logan explained.

And together, the pair searched the many rooms and halls in search of their friend.

Virgil huffed as he once again dodged pieces of the bleachers that were being thrown, the cyclops showed no sign of stopping his destruction and Roman was already looking like he was going to pass out any minute. “Hurry it up pretty boy!” Virgil hissed and pulled Roman by the arm to pull him away from any harm. “This is no time to be complimenting me.” Roman whined.

“I'm not, just trying to get your attention.” Virgil retorted and hissed when the cyclops roared. Roman yelped and held his hands over his ears. “Hey come on, we just gotta distract it long enough for Patton and Logan to arrive with help.” Virgil explained and tugged at the older boy's arm once more.

Roman nodded and immediately pushed Virgil out of the way as the cyclops made a move to grab him. Both teens scrambled to their feet and ran to the other end of the gym, Roman tripped over his own feet and nearly fell face first to the ground. “I really hope they get here soon.” Virgil muttered and looked at the clock that hung over the exit doors.

School was going to end soon, and if the cyclops wasn't dealt with by the time school ended, then there would be trouble.

Virgil pursed his lips and looked over at Roman who leaned tiredly against the wall while the cyclops looked around.

For a big creature it sure was dumb.

“I think I've got another trick up my sleeve.” He admitted in a hushed tone.

Roman looked at him with big, curious eyes. “What is it?” He asked. “I can summon Cerberus....” Virgil replied nervously. “But, father said it's only for life threatening situations.” He shifted his weight from side to side. “Is this not a life threatening situation!?” Roman shouted and gestured to the cyclops a couple of meters away from them.

As soon as he yelled the cyclops turned around and scowled when it laid its eye on the two teens. “Gods Roman, you really can't shut up can you?” Virgil scolded and began to make his escape by crawling into the other set of bleachers that had not yet been demolished. Roman quickly followed suit and collapsed to his knees as soon as he was certain that the cyclops was not aware of where they had hid. Virgil kneeled in front of him and rested a comforting hand on his shoulder. “How you holding up?” He questioned.

Roman slumped his shoulders. “First I'm attacked by gorgons, then I'm being attacked by a freaking cyclops.” He shook his head. “Sometime I hate being a demigod.” He grumbled and allowed himself to drop the heroic and brave façade he held. “Virgil, I'm going to be honest with you. Sometimes I'm scared of all these creatures, I know that I often act like I can defeat anything, but I can't. I'm not as strong or brave as you think I am.” He dropped his gaze and stared longingly at the ground.

Virgil gave him a small smile and leaned closer to him. “Roman?” He uttered. The teen looked back up at him and gave him a curious look. “Yes Virgil?” He whispered. Virgil wrapped his arms around him and gave him a tight squeeze. “It's all going to be okay, I promise.” He assured.

Roman froze, not being able to process what was happening. But, when he finally realized that he was being embraced he quickly returned the hug and dwelled within the comfort of his arms. “Thank you..” He said and breathed in his odd scent of sweet narcissus flowers.

Though of course their moment was cut short when the cyclops let out a low angry groan. Both teens remembered where they were and immediately pulled away from the embrace. “Right, now we need to deal with this guy.” Virgil frowned. Roman nodded. “Virgil, I may not be strong, but I swear I will protect you.” He grinned.

“No matter what.”

Logan sputtered. “What do you mean you don't care!? There is a cyclops in the school gym that can literally kill Roman and Virgil any minute now!” He exclaimed.

In front of him stood a short, sassy teen. He had sunglasses resting on the top of his head, wore a plain white shirt with a black jacket over, and skinny jeans. “Remy, you have to help us. Please.” Logan begged.

Patton stood a few feet away from them with a nervous look plastered on his face, he bit his bottom lip and shifted his weight. “Yeah no, I don't do favors.” Remy then eyed Patton with disgust gleaming in his eyes. “Especially for him.” He hissed. Patton flinched and took another step back, with that Logan finally caught on. “Just because his mother is related to Hera doesn't mean he is.” He stated.

Remy paused. “And your father's enemies are not yours. I understand that Hera may have endangered Hypnos in the past, but that was so long ago, way before we were even thought of. Remy, we need your help. Please, we are not taking advantage of your power, we do not intend on hurting you in any way, we just need your help.” Patton pleaded as he walked up to him and Logan.

Remy eyed him, and then he sighed and crossed his arms. “You're right...” He mumbled. “I can get a little out of hand sometimes, and the many cups of coffee are not helping me. It's just, sometimes I wish he can answer me you know? Even if it's for a little bit, a simple chat can't hurt right?” The teen gave a glum smile. Patton nodded and immediately pulled him into a tight hug. “I know exactly how you feel.” He admitted.

When they both pulled away from the embrace Remy nodded to Logan.

“I'll help you, just show me where the problem is.”
