The Candy Prince and the Vampire King (Prinxiety)
If you haven't at least watched the older Fionna and Cake episodes of Adventure Time, then you probably won't get what this is about. If you don't want to go through the trouble of re-watching all of the older episodes of that stuff, then just watch the video above in the media thingy. Roman is playing the role as Prince Gumball, the pink dude. And Virgil is playing the role as Marshall Lee the Vampire King, the guitar playing vampire dude. Just imagine Virg as a vampire king that looks like his regular self but has the fangs and odd skin color and all that stuff of Marshall. For Roman, just imagine him made out of bubblegum like Prince Gumball while everything else is pretty much the same, just different shades of pink. Well, hope you all enjoy the oneshot!

Late at Night in the Candy Kingdom

Roman's P.O.V.
For some odd reason, I've been unable to sleep for the past week or so. It's gotten to the point where I've fallen asleep while in the middle of baking for the candy people! So, what better way to help me fall asleep than taking a relaxing stroll through the garden while everyone's asleep?
I love looking at all the colorful and rare beauties that grow here. I've even caught Peppermint Maid finding peace in the garden just by gazing upon the flowers. However, they were the wilted ones. She has always been the strange type, that one. But, she still serves me well. She's very loyal, unlike a certain darkly dressed vampire I know...
Virgil the Vampire King. Most people address him as Anxiety, but I rarely find myself using that nickname. He, however, comes up with all sorts of nicknames for me. Gum Wad, Prince Charming, Your Majesty, just to name a few.
I lean down to check on my raspberry taffy roses, the red color reminding me of Virgil's scarlet eyes. He may be a nuisance, but that doesn't mean he isn't attractive.
While I begin to doze off right in front of the rose bush, a familiar chuckle sounds from behind me. The sudden sound causes me to panic and fall straight into the dirt which was composed of chocolate shavings. It isn't disgusting, but it sure is messy.
As I brush myself off, I'm constantly being teased by Virgil, who is comfortably floating a few feet away from me.
"Wow, I knew you were a drama queen, but I didn't think you'd be overreacting at this time of night," he continues to taunt and chuckle.
"I am not a drama queen! That was a legitimate reaction, you jerk!" I yell at him. He seemed a bit taken aback by the fact I raised my voice, but he quickly hides his surprise with a fanged smirk.
"Aww! That makes it even better!"
I can feel my nose scrunch up as I pout and blush, tinting my pale pink skin with a dark magenta. I turn my head away from the man who mocked, closing my eyes and crossing my arms as I slightly tilt my head upwards so my nose is in the air.
"You're so cute when you do that," I hear a hushed voice sound from the opposite direction my face pointed.
Upon turning my head back to Virgil, he was now the one turning his head away from me. "What was that, Virgil?" I begin to play dumb, him falling for it like he usually does. Thank Glob he's looking the other way, or my almost completely magenta cheeks would have given me away.
"N-Nothing..." the King murmurs. I scoff slightly. "Wow. Virgil, the Vampire King, can't confess his feelings to I, 'A frilly pink Prince'!" I say, quoting his words from when we first met. He had called me that for a full week before softening his mockery towards me to the nickname 'Bubba'.
Virgil whips his head back to face me, his expression one of surprise. "W-Woah... I thought you forgot about that," he chuckles awkwardly. I roll my eyes. At this moment, an idea enters my mind.
I take a few confident steps up to the floating and blushing King. He flinches slightly. "H-Hey, whatcha doing so c-close th—" Without hesitation, I get on my tippy-toes and peck him on the cheek with a soft kiss.
Virgil's face immediately flares up with a burning blush spread completely across his cheeks, nose, and even his pointed ears. He stares blankly in my direction, then smiles a genuine smile.
"I think I've fallen for you all over again, Bubba."
"I love you, but don't call me Bubba."
He chuckles.
"Alright, Bubba."
