Virgil hated this time of the month.

He felt awful-he was one of the unlucky people who had horrible cramps, and he felt grumpier and whiney. He knew he was probably annoying everyone, and that's what led to him shutting away in his bedroom, away from his boyfriend, Logan.

Logan had noticed Virgil's absence, of course, and so here he was, knocking on his door. "Virgil? Are you alright?"

"No. Go away." Virgil groaned, turning over in bed and hiding himself under his covers. Logan sighed, opening the door anyways and stepping inside.

"What's wrong?" Logan asked, stepping up to the bed and looking down at Virgil. Virgil looked back up at him with a frown.

"I hate everything." He grumbled, and Logan raised an eyebrow.

"You hate everything? Me too?" He asked, and Virgil had to think for a second.

"No," he sighed. "I guess you're alright. But I hate everything else."

"Why do you hate everything?" Logan took a seat next to him on the bed, running a hand through Virgil's hair.

"Because. I just do. The universe hates me back anyways, so it's fair."

"Why do you think the universe hates you?" Logan wondered, smiling slightly at Virgil.

"Because. It gave me this stupid body that bleeds once every month and makes my stomach ache and my whole body hurt. It's stupid, and I hate it. I just wanna stay in bed forever with my heating pad." It was only then that Logan noticed the heating pad on his stomach. He probably would have known what was wrong sooner had he seen it before.

"You know that moving around can help with cramps, right?" Logan asked. Virgil shot him a death glare, and Logan laughed. "Okay, okay. Do you mind if I join you, then? Staying in bed forever alone doesn't sound very fun."

"I guess." Virgil shrugged, but he had a smile on his face so Logan knew he was happy Logan was there.

"Good. I couldn't imagine being without you forever." Logan commented, pulling back the blankets on Virgil's bed toast down with him, pulling him close in his arms and kissing the top of his head. "If you want me to get anything for you, just let me know, okay?"

"Okay." Virgil nodded, leaning into Logan and sighing contently. "Thanks. I love you."

"I love you too, Virgil." Logan smiled, and kissed him. Virgil smiled back at him as they pulled away.

"Okay. I've decided that the universe doesn't hate me." Virgil whispered after a while, looking at Logan fondly.

"And why is that?" Logan whispered back.

"The universe gave me you."

Lmao yeah so basically periods fucking suck I'm still sad and I wish I could shapeshift so I didn't have to suffer

This was cute tho. I wish I had a boyfriend (or again anyone lol) not just so they could take care of me but also like I'd be a great boyfriend okay if I had someone to date I would treat them like Logan did Virgil in this and I would get them anything they needed and they would get loads of cuddles whenever they were sad and man I'm just really lonely lmao
