Thanks Dad (Morality x Anxiety)
Father/son oneshot tiny bit of prinxiety
Thomas hadn't been anxious all day. He just didn't feel worried about anything, which was pretty unusual. He always worried over at least one tiny insignificant thing in a day, but today there was nothing. At first he thought that maybe Virgil had ducked out again, but he wasn't completely careless as he had been before when that happened.
He was confused when he couldn't summon Virgil. No matter what he tried the anxious trait just didn't show up. After a while he decided to call for Patton, hoping that maybe he would know why Virgil wouldn't show up.
When the bubbly trait showed up he was immediately bombarded with questions, wondering where Virgil was and if he was okay.
"Whoa, slow down kiddo. I'm sure he's fine, what makes you think he's not?" Patton questioned, quickly becoming worried.
"Well, I haven't had a single negative thought today. Not that that's a bad thing, but I just got worried that maybe he had ducked out again?" Thomas voiced his concern, and Patton frowned.
"Well if you're worrying about him than he couldn't have left again! If it makes you feel better though, I can go check on him?" Patton offered, and Thomas nodded, thanking him as he sank back down the check on the anxious side.

"Virgil..?" Patton called out as he appeared in the sides room. "You doing okay, kiddo?"
Patton was met with an annoyed groan from under the blankets on Virgil's bed, Patton smiling fondly as he approached his dark strange son, sitting next to him and pulling the covers back from his face. Virgil glared up at him for a second, before sighing and frowning.
"I think I'm sick." He grumbled, voice scratchy. Patton frowned, putting a hand to his forehead to check his temperature.
"What's wrong? Do you have a fever? Are you gonna be okay?" Patton asked, worrying over Virgil's health.
"I'll be fine, dad. Just a cold. You shouldn't stay in here long, I can take care of myself." Virgil insisted, trying to hide away under the blankets again. Patton shook his head, pulling them away from his face yet again.
"No, you're gonna stay where I can see you until you're feeling better again." Patton insisted. "Roman!"
Almost immediately Roman showed up in Virgil's room, sword in hand looking around for danger. "What is it? What's going on?"
"Carry Virgil to the couch for me? I'm going to carry his blankets and pillows in there." Patton asked, and Roman, although confused, lifted the confused and incredibly unhappy side in his arms.
"Wait-dad this isn't-this isn't necessary! I'm sick, my legs aren't broken, let me walk!" He struggled to escape the Prince's arms, but Roman didn't budge, carrying him out while Patton gathered up his blankets and pillows.
Patton walked in the room to find Virgil laying on the couch, arms crossed and shooting death glares to Roman while he grinned smugly. "I hate you," Virgil grumbled.
"You love me." Roman shook his head, and laughed. Virgil glared at him more, but the blush on his cheeks was obvious. Patton laughed at them both, thanking Roman for helping him and letting him go back to whatever he was doing before. Virgil's glare disappeared as he looked over at Patton, still frowning but not able to be upset with him. When he was given his blankets back Virgil once more hid completely underneath them, Patton shaking his head and letting him know he was going to make him some food and get him some medicine.
Just before doing that he made sure to let Thomas know that the anxious side was safe, just a little sick, telling him not to worry since he was taking care of him.

It didn't take him long to finish making Virgil something to eat, making a plate for him and bringing him some medicine to help him feel better. He set his plate down on the coffee table, helping Virgil sit up and handing it to him afterwards. He kissed him on the forehead, smiling at his son and sitting in one of the other chairs.
"If you need anything else, just let me know, okay?" Patton told him, and Virgil nodded, smiling at him.
"Okay. Thanks, dad."
Ahhhhhh guys this is awesome thank you so much!!!!!! Ily all you're so awesome and I'm so happy you enjoy my oneshots tytyty
ALL I WANT RIGHT NOW IS LOVE AND SLEEP LIKE PLS
BOTH WOULD BE AWESOME BUT EVEN JUST ONE WOULD BE OKAY. I DONT CARE WHICH.
ALSO SLEEPING WITH TWO BLANKETS IS A PAIN IN THE ASS EITHER ONE FALLS OFF OF ME OR THE ONE UNDERNEATH GETS STUCK AND LAYS WEIRD AND UGH I JUST WANNA BE WARM WHYS THIS SO COMPLICATED
Buut hey. Two oneshots in a night are you proud of me did I make you proud
Also yes I wrote this cause I'm sick and want someone to care for me (I'm honestly so annoying when I'm sick. I'm whiney and I just want someone to hold me and listen to me complain lmao)
See honestly, the most annoying thing about being sick is that it makes me panic sometimes. If I'm hurting in any way I freak out (like my stomach hurting makes me panic, my chest hurting/having trouble breathing-both of which have been happening today-makes me panic, so physical health is shit and mental health is even worse)
Anyway, thank you guys again so so much for reading this. You're all wonderful, and I hope you enjoyed this. *dog on skateboard rolls past you with her puppies on skateboards following, the father coming out of nowhere to give you a ring pop*
I thought that was an amazing and incredibly creative ring pop suggestion. Take care of yourselves. Love you guys. Bye-Bob
